Great shots Adam! I have a 4S so I know how loud the shutter is...I wonder if a rain cover plus some of your camouflage cloth might make it quieter? Also I must recommend a monopod which takes all the weight and is ten times quicker than a tripod. Good luck in your beautiful country!
Thanks a lot. I might try wraping it in something in the future. I don't really want to buy new equipment right now so I will stick to handheld shooting and my tripod. Good luck as well.
Yes, it helps, the key is to be patient, don't move and blend in with grasses, bushes... For example birds in this video were a lot more comfortable jumping around me and even bigger birds like ducks came closer but they noticed me when I moved my camera towards them.
In my experience my 3d camo suit seems to make little difference. If you're dressed in drab coloured clothes that don't stand out too much you should be fine. As long as you can get the profile of your body low down against the bank and don't make any sudden movements you can have Kingfishers landing right next to you
hay great images you got I dont know if you have a tripode but if you dont a littel tip would be to use a tripode for if you whant to take videos it makes it a lot more stable
Thank you very much. Yes I know, I do have a tripod but I just don't like taking it with me because it's heavy and I tend to move a lot when taking pictures. But I will give it another shot next time.

Animal behavior is a nice approach to show wildlife- I was not aware they throw up some of the fish.
Good job
Thanks a lot, it is quite rare to see them do it, it was actually my first time seeing it.
Beautiful ✨

The kingfisher is so nice and funny to see and photograph. Nice video and pictures as well.
Thank you 🙌
"Hunting" for kingfishers is always an adventure. Thanks for sharing and good look fo the future!
Thank you very much, stay tuned for more videos because this is surely not last video about kingfishers, it's my favourite bird.
The kingfisher is the most beautiful bird in my region. It's always and adventure to search and photograph them. Thanks for sharing your story!
I am pleased you enjoyed the video.
Patience is hard, but it's worth it. Good hunting.
This is why I enjoy it, sitting somewhere alone and waiting for these beatiful creatures makes my mind relax

What the hell was all that pounding and thumping at the start of the video? I thought I was having a heart attack 😬
