You see, most bboys forget about their get-downs once they have learnt the basic few.
The truth is, many of the freshest bboys in the world focus on their get-downs.
That’s how they stand out. Look fresh. And become world-class.
They insist that the way they enter their footwork, freeze and powermoves be different from the rest of the world.
And that’s how you can stand out too -- if you can focus on creating unique drops.
    How do you do that?
To help you start with your get-down journey, I am sharing with you 3 variations created from the MOST BASIC drops.
Drops such as your basic get-down, sweep and knee drop.
With an added twist into moves that you can one day say are uniquely yours.
    Skip to relevant parts:
0:44 - Spin to Knee Drop
1:46 - Sweep to Knee Lock
2:50 - Scissors Shuffle to Back Sweep

    Music:
"Trips" by Topher Mohr and Alex Elena
    "Grind" by Fusik

the set at the end was dope as hell! the bboys that make the simple stuff look dope are the best in my opinion.

that was awesome. shows how you can always make variations to the basics to add your own style and still look really good.

Yes that was the message I was trying to send -- glad to got it! 💪🏻
How are you applying this to your next practice?

I have been working on fundamentals for the past couple of weeks, so this was perfect. This helps me think of simple ways to create style, either within the move itself or in transition.

+Ripcurl Z nice! Were you facing any difficulties when you were doing so? Like being creative with fundamentals and so on
