    Thank you for making these videos! They are very helpful and enlightening.Could you make one about the swipe? It's my first power move, but I'm having trouble cleaning it up, and getting into / out of swipes.

      You're rather timely - the swipe one is on its way. Stay tuned!

    Clear explanations. But please name your source of inspiration next time.
    The 'Atomic' style is a name that Storm (Battle Squad) gave to all movements where your upper body moves in the opposite direction as your feet. Just like 'Orbitting' (eventhough you gave a different drill) is used by Storm in his Foootwork Fundamentals DVD. Giving credit also makes you as a teacher more credible because then your student will have an extra source to look up.
    Peace & keep on spreading knowledge

    Awesome! Your videos are always helpful! Quick question, however. I was told to keep things original and try to add your own variation on moves. At one point do things stop being basics (like a normal 6 step) and does biting start? I always see cool tutorials, but I don't want to bite anyone's style! Thank you!

      Get inspired by videos and tutorials and think of how to improve on them.
      E.g watch this video, learn the moves and think of a new way of doing them that's uniquely yours. That way, you'll never bite and you'll never run out of moves either.

    How to learn the atomic six step: Be a beginner trying to learn the six step.
    In all seriousness though, I find that I, like many people I later went on to teach, naturally gravitate to the atomic sixstep by accident to start with :)

    • @ErinHuangBDD
      @ErinHuangBDD  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, you're actually quite right! The key point though, for the atomic 6 step is to understand how to apply the inner rotation from the atomic 6 step to other moves :)

    • @EVO1148
      @EVO1148 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed. It's the same with many moves really. Once you've got it down properly you can think about how to apply it and the principles in new ways :)

      Search my name on TH-cam and you'll see some of the battles I've been in. I do battle, I just don't actively upload them.
