Zealot S79 Bass Test!!! Open Cover 😍😍😍

- Hey guys just a quick bass test on the zealot S79, unfortunately on bass heavy songs in bass boost eq there is some distorting depending on the heaviness of the bass, the other 2 eq modes do not distort what so ever though and sound really quite good!!!

It really looks great without the cover. Speakers usually have glue and weird marker scribbles under the grill. My W-King D8's look sloppy with the grills off.
Most speakers don't look good under the grill for sure ha ha your absolutely right, this one by far looks the best without the cover on
First one here and know one can stop me😈😈😈. And wow that bass sounds decent but not that punchy. There is a lot of distortion at max level but it sounds like it was tuned like that on purpose so it could be louder.

In person there is not much distortion on these 2 equalizers but in the bass boost eq there is a lot of distortion, it's a good speaker but like you did 90-100 percent gets a little rough
@@Jagistreviewscould you battle this up against the Sony xb43 on stock eq and maybe do a factory reset I had to that on line because the eq messed up the sound and was sounding muffled at around 45% volume

Edit I still keep my XB43 around in case I go in a bike ride and I stuff in my backpack it’s got some external damage and I could care less since it’s going to be on rough trips anyway.
Honestly, I think the S78 is the same. Just a little more powerful in terms of watts and the drivers are a tad bigger. Sounds like it has the same issues with the base boost At high volumes, the S78 overdrives like crazy. But at 117 on Amazon can't resist.
Ya I Just use standard eq mode and it sounds amazing with no distortion. But the bass boost mode past 70 percent can start to distort
@Jagistreviews That's the same conclusion I got with the S78. Depending on the track and if it's around 50 or 60, I might turn on the bass boost. Hell, my unit came with a slight defect in the left side driver. But I only really notice it if the bass boost is on.

Without Bass Boost it's don't distors and the sound is very good, You can on other EQ

I love it, it's the perfect medium size speaker and even beats the jbl extreme in my opinion
@@Jagistreviews I absolutely agree when I got the S78. The form factor especially made me think this is what I wanted out of the extreme 3 when at first came out!
wow i love the driver sizes also they look bigger then boombox 2 woofers are they 3.4 inch? for the prs
I'm loving them as well, but unfortunately they are not bigger than the bb2 woofers they are a little smaller but it gives out powerful sound and very compact
The passive radiators are 4 in a half inch so really decent size
They lied about how big the woofers are

That’s a sweet speaker. Really nice looking and sounding. I want this one too 😂 I’ll probably get it after you put it up against a couple more. Do you own an Xtreme 3? I’d like to hear it decimate that speaker. Idk why JBL thinks it’s worth $400 dollars.
I'm getting a extreme 3 in like a week that I will put it up againts, this is a nice sweet compact robust speaker. I'm enjoying it a lot ha ha
@@Jagistreviews I liked my Xtreme so much I purchased another one. The first one was used. The second was new. I like them a lot. I only talk shit because they want an unbelievable amount at MSRP. It has a solid tight sound that’s hard to match. I prefer it over almost everything I have. But if we’re talking about price, there’s definitely diminishing returns on investment 😂
@dalegribble7125 they are great mid size speakers for are, pretty hard to beat, but I'm with you, the price is insanity

@okpalaathanesius8939 we can't get the extreme 4 in the United States yet but I am getting a 3 again in the meantime
Does it have bass and loudness comparable to Stormbox Blast?
I'd say it's a little under bass and loudness of tribit stormbox blast but I'm not sure for sure, it's a lot smaller and compact but I'll try to do a speaker battle between the 2 soon
Can you compare it to the Studio 7 if you still have it?
I sold the 7 to get an 8 which I should have pretty soon so as soon as I get that I will absolutely speaker battle them
@@Jagistreviews sounds great, you should enjoy the upgrade btw, the speakerphone works great and the multicolored led is a nice touch plus it's overall more powerful with no need for a AC brick anymore

How to tell the battery percent and u did against the barrel ?
I think I battled it against the barrel, and the light on top green 80 to 100 percent and yellow is 40 percent to 70 I think and red is like 30 percent and lower I think and blinking red is going to mean you need to charge it and it's on like 10 percent battery, If I am remembering right

Which one better s79 or anker boom 2 plus
The boom 2 plus is a lot bigger and is going to have a more powerful bass, but for the same price you could get two of these and pair them up and that would probably give the boom 2 plus a run for its money
This honestly is an amazing speaker for the price, 2 would for sure be better than one boom 2 plus
Please compare it with zealot s78

S78 or 79 which one has more bass
S78 distorts way bad and has other issues, I'd go with the s79 if it were me
Distortion at 60% volume makes it a clear loser, imo. Thanks for the heads up.
It only distorts on bass boost mode the other 2 modes don't distort at all even at 100 percent, and honestly the normal eq sounds best on it anyways, bass boost is to muddy for me

You can't turn them down but you can turn them off

Not quite as good. It's a little smaller but really well made and packs a dang good punch

Your going to want to go with something bigger like the wking x20 or the tribit stormbox blast or the dbsoars f29 max for sure
