Interesting , Thank you . I agree a fine mission and a fine reminder we all need so many trades people to actually fix stuff . Not to mention FRIENDS are So good to have. Happy Gaming ,
@ghengisbobber confirmed you can make your own Vindaloo, the guests like it and there's another path. It wasn't clear if there was another outcome, but more dialog options. The missions adds some nice 'flavor' to Akila City. Pun intended.
I'd love a mod that added a repeatable quest to the Neon restaurant with the guy who talks about serving exotic dishes. You could hunt for specific plants and animals and be rewarded with new food buffs and/or money. Would be really fun, add to exploring and scanning planets. I'd also love to see the Galbank quests turned into repeatable quests - with their focus on persuasion.
I reran it on my main just so i could try to swap the dish. Everybody likes your version and when you talk to Harb you have the options of lying to him that he's a good cook or telling him you helped, but he doesn't take the hint and says everyone helped 🤡. It looks like it caps out at 40k as I was 192 when I ran it. Also, everything it on the counter- the spice is next to the salt and pepper.
It was worth it for "The rug ties the room together." alone. I used the new rover to get to Bubba. I was surprised by the payout, I think I got 21k credits at level 27. Totally worth doing for a new or ng+ character.
the difference between his dish and yours is the effect, with his you loose 3points of health, with yours you gain 1000 points of health. you should've had that spice on you to find out the reaction of the others as for the flavor.
A viewer mentioned later that the spice was on the counter. I'm sure there are multiple outcomes to the quest and it wasn't my intention to provide a comprehensive guide in a short video. I really wanted people to get the 'flavor' of the new DLC. :)
It's not odd from Beths perspective. Gets people that haven't interacted with Creations to do so. "Hey you get a free vehicle and some cool free quests, just go into the store". That's usually something F2P games do. "Grab a free reward from the store" "Oh and spend some money while you're here, won't you?"
It's StarUI (a couple options installed). PC only and I'm not sure it's been updated since late '23. It's the only thing I've ever installed. No search. :(
Sorry, I should have mentioned it was on Nexus. Full manual installation for me. I don't even use Vortex, I just put files in directories and roll with it.
I can't get the blue dot to spawn on the map for, 'Hunt down the Ashta and retrieve it's meat'. I've watched other videos & it seems to appear randomly. Yet another bugged release!
I've always found the blue dot is tied to having the correct quest selected (and it doesn't always follow the on screen pop-up updates). That is, I might get a notification on screen that a quest has updated, but it won't be my selected quest. The game makes some decision about "what's next" for me and it's not always what I expect. Maybe you've already selected it, but that's been it for me.
I had this issue too. Managed to fix it by disabling the creation, making a full save to clear it out, re-enabled it, made a full save off planet and relaunched the game so the quest could trigger properly, and then went for Shonda first after getting the quest from Harb

There's a Lore Friendly recipes creation, but I don't think it's tied to any NPC or quest. Nice ideas though. Galbank wraps up too quickly.
@kineer Galbank was a terrible tease. LoL. I was like "What!? That's it!!?" 😂 😂 😂
Yeah, it's not like bank fraud stops once we clear up the handful of cases. Should be endless. :)

Thanks! Solid options, I'll try them on another character. Have to admit I was rushing a bit just get a video out. ;)

Roger that!
Also PSA do not buy the apc. The weight is so high it doesn't vertical boost and gets stuck easily.

It's odd the new vehicle and quests (trackers included) are creations but the regular rover is baked into the game.
Half of trackers was baked in. Implication is the creation part will be repeated, eh? Maybe buggies for $ in the future?

What inventory mod are you using. If you do not mind let me know. Plus, do you know if there is one that allows you to search by words.

@@kineer Thank you.
@@kineer It looks like StarUI is not around, unless you did not get it from the creation section.
