Oooh! Jack the ripper! This will be a real treat, I was really fascinated by this story when I was younger and even did the jack the ripper walking tour when I was in england for the summer.

If you or anyone else is interested in learning more about the women, the podcast "Bad Women: The Ripper Retold" is a really wonderful historical look into each of their lives and dispels a lot of myths like that they were all prostitutes. Also I think it's Elizabeth Stryde that may have been killed by her abusive husband and not Jack the Ripper at all. Either way I've always found both Jack the Ripper and the women fascinating!

So here for this lol I was obsessed with this case as a kid. I feel he didn’t have medical training officially but definitely practiced for some time before his first known act. Definitely believe he killed before his first known one, it just it wasn’t nearly as brutal or extreme (lack of confidence at first maybe) to where they didn’t connect them or just animals. Also always felt he got syphilis (judgment/karma) and became more visibly deranged/erratic and was institutionalized until his death. I believe either his mother knew or someone who worked at the institution…maybe observed mannerisms or even ramblings from him but never came forward due to lack of proof or anxiety with how big of a mystery and deal the case was. Always love your readings!

This was great! I always wondered who he was. A few cards made me feel like he disguised himself as an officer of the law (the hat/cap you mentioned) during the night hours and he somehow had access to a church or an abbey. A building related to religion possibly. I think his mother brought customers home at night which contributed to his psychosis/evil intentions.
