- I repeat the four measure phrase twice with four bars of time in between. This is from a Modern Drummer article written on Elvin by John Riley.

Thank you very much! The cymbals are Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary Series, the left side of the drum set are 20" Ride, 14" Hi Hats, and on the floor tom side, 22" Ride, and 12" Hi Hats.

Is it a tama slp hickory kit ? It sonds great. I almost had bought one a few weeks ago. Finally got a yamaha birch custom abdolute in bop sizes.

No, not really. I love Elvin's sound, but I typically tune the way I like.
