The transparency during the development and production of M8 is one of the things I appreciate the most about it. It feels like we are learning along with you. Also, it's cool just watching you mess around with M8. I would be down to watch you just work on music for yourself every once in a while too.
Like you said, maybe I'm just accustomed to buying boutique gear but when I saw all the things this could do and to me, only cost $450, I was surprised to see other people thought it was overpriced. Ive bought and sold quite a bit of groove box devices and there's not really anything in this form factor or price range that can do all the stuff that the M8 can do. The OP-Z is $150 more expensive and does less with less editable synth engines and made by a larger (but still somewhat small) company, if we want to talk about profit margins (and I do love Teenage Engineering by the way). But anyways, as always keep up the good work. M8 is a very exciting project and I appreciate all the hard work and efforts you have put to making the ultimate portable tracker.
Honestly, if this thing comes into the hands of the right TH-cam influencer at a point where production is smooth and steady it could really take off. Like you said it does a lot of things better than the competition at a pretty low price point. Plus there's the whole nostalgia/feels like a Gameboy aspect.
Dude, this M8 is UNDERPRICED in my opinion. looking at its functionality and build quality it's on par with that of anything on the Elektron lineup. The Digitakt sells for 871.26 dollars new! as far as I can tell the m8 seems to be able to do all of what the Digi can do and more eg actual song mode FM synth. even looking at something like the op-1 That's even more expensive again! I think the only reason that the op-1 gets is sold for the high prices is because of its aesthetics and limited quantity. All that being said, respect for the work you are doing. The fact that you are putting together something of this quality virtually by yourself it seems is a serious achivement! I pre-ordered my M8 last week, it is the only piece of music gear I have bought new as I think the price is amazing and I really would like to support what's going on. Keep up the amazing work!
I love these meetups, they feel very genuine, honest and super informative, and I can tell you're putting so much hard work and care into this. Hope production goes smoothly these next few months!
I think people will sell things for what they want to sell them for. There are more units in the works so if one does not have the patience, they pay whatever price they find. However I do feel if one buys a unit specifically for reselling it, they are being scummy and it sucks.

I think people will sell things for what they want to sell them for. There are more units in the works so if one does not have the patience, they pay whatever price they find. However I do feel if one buys a unit specifically for reselling it, they are being scummy and it sucks.
Is there will be random fill function? (Or something filimar). Other words, function to randomize the data on multiple steps.
