3 Avocado, 1 lime juice, 1 Cup of sugar, 1 Cup of Milk, 1 Cup of Heavy cream, 1 pinch of salt. Great easy recipe. I will make it.
This made me realize how much i miss avocado. Stopped buying it together with stuff like coffee etc. Staying as much with local produce as possible (hence why i am trying to grow some stuff that usually gets imported from places like South Africa, South America, US etc
I agree, avocado is the best 🙌🏻
Surely yummy
Looks yummy!
Awesome and delicious. 🤩
That look good

Thanks so much Nathan!
Yehey! 🤩 I love avocado and ice cream😊 together - fantastic!🤩
I totally agree. Match made in heaven!
Im trying this recipe tomorrow i actually searched through alot of videos urs was by far the clearest easiest and ingredient cost friendly video i found. So i will leave another comment on how it turned out. Looking forward to it. Thank u!!
How was the ice cream?
Looks super yummy and very tempting
Thanks so much!
Amazing Bravo Bravo, Thank You.
So glad you like this recipe!

Great to hear!
I m on your side for the trick of getting out the lemon juice both the ways..hehehe😀🤭..
Haha thank you!
Very testy......
I'm from India....kerala
Looks super delicious! Looking forward to trying this!
Loved this recipe made with heart, we are about to take on Avacado ice cream is well! Please keep in touch.
Awesome!
Interesting, I never would have thought to make ice cream out of avocado's. It is a must try for me. I will let you know how I like it. I love them so I think I will like it. My wife, probably not so much as she is not one to try new things.
Let’s see what she says, maybe she will love this one!
Watching this as I eat my avacado, it's avacado season in Kenya so many am getting tired of eating everyday
I always use spoon to getting out the lemon juice, and you can get more lemon than that
Love the videos, found you through preppy kitchen.
Nice healthy/vegeterian food, nice and cute guy and delicious lookng food.
Only complaint or question would be having to look up the measurements since I'm not american. Cups, fahrenheit etc.
Possible to edit that in once the video is done? Since your showing the measurements in imperial anyway, could add metric?
Hi- thanks so much. I will do my best to make that happen!
Can we sub sweetener for sure sugar?
Did you put the lime peel in the juicer as well?
Can you make soft icecream from it?
I do the same with the lemon 😂😂
It also looks really powdery like Halo Top is.
Looks nice! How long would this keep nice in the freezer for?
Hi- since this is homemade and doesn’t have any preservatives, I would say best to eat it within 3 weeks. But I’m always conservative with food safety so keep that in mind. Hope you love this recipe!
If an avocado is dark green, it’s ripe.
If an advocacy is light green, it’s not ripe yet.
How can i make that soft only and i can put on the plastic to make it likely as the soft ice cream machine woks
Hi! Looks so!! good. Can you recommend a sugar substitute? Thank you!
I was just wondering the same. Would it be possible and we substitute MAD sugar with Monk fruit sweetener?
Sugar is very important for the icecream’s texture. Without it the icecream will be icy and hard. If you want to use a sugar substitute you’ll have to use xantham gum powder with it to achieve the right texture
How much ice-cream is produced for this receipt? Does it make 2 litres?
I was thinking the same thing about how he cut his limes 😂
What does the salt do ?
I've been searching through TH-cam to find a non-dairy avocado ice cream. Does anyone know if a two-ingredient recipe with just banana and avocado would taste good?
Yes very good especially if you add in some honey or agave syrup
I make a smoothie with avacado, banana and milk.
Awesome
I m curious if it gets icy ❄️
What else can you add to make it sugar free?
Use lakanto sweetener monkfruit 0 calorie
Medjool dates
No vanilla extract? Do you need to let it sit out on the counter for a bit before serving?
Hi- nope, don’t need the vanilla for this one. And yes definitely let it sit out for 5 - 8 minutes to soften before you scoop. Enjoy!
@@cookingwithcoit Thanks for your quick response.
My pleasure!
You can always add fresh mint too
avocado has a very delicate flavor, wouldn't the lime masks the scent of avocado and all you can smell is lime and not avocado? i followed your recipe without the lime and i like it better because you can smell the avocado and the ice cream tastes richer without the lime juice.
Don't put too much lime then, because it's a must to put lime juice, it keeps the avocado from getting dark.
Can you substitute honey for sugar?
Hi- that’s a great question. Although I haven’t tried it I think it should work.
What's the point if you put sugar cream and milk in it you might as well eat regular ice cream.
I was thinking of:
3 avocado
Juice of 1 lime
Maybe 6 Medjool dates
1 cup almond or soy milk
1 cup full-fat coconut milk
Pinch of salt
(or maybe just 1 can coconut milk & skip the almond/soy milk)
Tried last night but the texture is totally off...Now it's been sitting in my 30c degree room for about 15 minutes to defrost but it's still a big chunk of solid ice...
Hmm thats strange. I wonder if you didn't use enough enough cream, milk, or avocados? I do let my avocado ice cream soften a little before I scoop but i have never seen it hard as a rock. Did it have a good taste? THanks!
@@cookingwithcoit Thank you for replying! I made sure that I followed every detail of ur recipe. The taste was as good as expected though, only the texture was far from ideal. Would love to do more trial and error, just need someone to consume the not so perfect product hah.
Texture crossed my mind when I watched the video. Ice cream is supposed to be made in an ice cream maker. If not, you need to stir the mixture every hour so that it won't harden. I think that's why you have the problem
ice chrystals?
Im taking no side this time😂
I know too little about the juicing to make an opinion on it😅
Haha me as well
Im in his side
🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@cookingwithcoit By the way I really love avocados and I love Ice cream soooooooo THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!!!!😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Only one side
I don't get it ...lime and milk in the same jar and it doesn't curdle?? I'm shook😵
That’s a good point. Maybe the freezing stops the process.
@@cookingwithcoit Oh! Okay😀.....but does skipping lime make a lot of difference in the flavour? I mean, i like slightly sweetened avocado just on its own, so...
Or you buy cut up frozen avocado much cheaper.
Holy heck all that sugar 🤯
Use a juicer and just cut the limes/lemon in half... of you know, make a video and test to prove us wrong...
A whole video just for juicing!?! 🤣
Heavy cream and milk? Just eat icecream then.
So much sugar. Insulin spike.
The sound effects are unnecessary
So much sugar seriously? :(
Followed your recipe and method. It set like a brick, can't eat it. Next time show the actual results.
Sugar, whole milk and heavy cream. This is not even close to being healthy might as well just buy ice cream in the store 😂
