    That'll be the cleanest that machine will ever be from the first day it hits the mine until it retires

    Thank you for sharing this. That looked like a fun expo to attend. Pretty awesome machine and engineering that went to make a Rear engine loader of that size! 70 yd3 is insane amount of material per bucket!!! I read that the next one is in 2016, I might have to go to that one.

    It wouldn't be easy to see the loader in the video as its the only one in the world with the 70 yard bucket and its now working in a mine somewhere.

    Hi and thanks for the reply, OK?
    Of course the 'working end' is about the same size as a D11, but to have the whole machine that size would be super cool, but I would how many customers there would be for that?

    Hi and thanks for the upload OK?
    I suppose like most I am really 'into' the Le Tourneau L - 2350 because of its size. When the largest CAT Dozer is about 155 Tons, this is almost but not quite two of those at I am guessing from memory, which aint good 275 Tons?
    It is like a factory on wheels with so many fire extinguishers to name but one item, but can anyone tell me, if these Extinguishers are the ones used to draw the Fire fighting liquid to fight the fire?

    Wonder why they don't use a turbine in place of the reciprocating engine . Since the loader is electric drive, the turbine can run at its peak RPM whenever it is running. Add battery packs to capture the excess power the turbine makes when loader doesn't use all of the turbine's power during a cycle.

    • @JD97711
      @JD97711 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +BrewPub Turbines don't do well in dirt. The high heat they produce is undesirable. They cost more and are more expensive to maintain and are not as readily serviced in the field. Battery packs are not needed and would add to the weight and be yet another thing to maintain. It already makes more than enough electricity while only requiring the engine to turn at a moderately low RPM. In addition it generates ample electricity on downhill grades and while breaking. It is per ton the most fuel efficient machine out there.

      SenZiTiV260 the first one off the line (53 yd bucket) is said to have used 50 GPH by the engineer. I’d expect this to use about 60-65 GPH.
