The APMCs are a part of the supply chain and are government regulated. The licensed agents and the farmers over the years have developed a relationship. The arrival of private players will lead to the abandonment of the APMCs as they are going to offer higher prices initially and eventually the APMCs will collapse. The prices offered by the private players will also decline as their sole purpose is to maximise profits and minimise costs. The cold storages and the warehouses owned by private players will help them to hoard the commodities and control the supply which will inflate the prices for the consumers.

Whenever a farmer bear losses, he demand for money from government but whenever he earns crores of rupees when the season and environmental conditions are well, he never approach the government to imply tax on him. We are going towards very bad condition in future if we do not joins the farmers with our main stream taxation system.
