From the opening bass notes, instantly back in high school and can still sing every word. I adored this band in the 80s, thanks for reviewing another of their great hits!

PLEASE take a moment and watch Glass Tiger perform a private concert for a 95-year-old lady in a seniors’s home. The story is the nurses videotaped her because every day she sat in her room singing this song and it was her favorite song. The video was seen by Glass Tiger and this is what they did for her.❤️

As a Canadian child of the 70's, 80's and 90's Glass Tiger were a massive part of Canadian Popular Radio. Many many radio friendly hits. Check out "Diamond Sun", "I'm Still Searching" and "Don't forget me when I'm gone" for some more amazing music from Canadian Icons Glass Tiger

Written by Jim Vallance, the Desmond Child from Canada. This songwriter practically wrote all of Brian Adams' big hits in the 80s. He and Brian wrote several hits for other artists. Each time, you can imagine Brian Adams singing.

When introducing a new group you've got to start with the best known hits and not lesser known songs. Chilliwack: Fly at Night, My Girl, Blue Rodeo: Try. The hits are hits because more people like them.

Something happened that stopped their American success. Not sure what. I think the lead singer had a bad accident.

This was just one of those smooth, easy hits on the radio to smooth out a mood or to keep a person even keeled for a good part of the day esp. when followed by more easy tempered or else uptempo songs. Glass Tiger as a band is just good that way.
The other suggestions for this band are good, including The Thin Red Line & Diamond Sun. You may want to do "Diamond Sun" when you are doing a Native American appreciation day, or any other day for that matter. (As we have so many songs & artists you still haven't gotten to, we have others for any day, but also for Aboriginal/1st Nations Day as well - including from our Inuit culture [ which you may know as Eskimo].)

Their song My Town is amazing. Rod Stewart sings a small portion in it. It's my favourite

Big Wreck for a banger Canadian group for you Jay. A critic described their music as having " bass that shakes your bowels ". Recommend " That Song " or "The Oaf".

Two Canadian bands in one day! Red Rider and Glass Tiger both are from Canada, and have some great hits.

The strange thing about the 80's is we thought this was how music would be made......forever.
The 90's kept some of it, but by Y2K, this quality of music was lost forever
