Good information, Pete. I'm glad that this approach to eating is helping you and your wife!
I miss your gardening videos. If you start raising meat birds (and for that matter, your egg layers will benefit from this, too), you can still do a whole lot of gardening and give the produce to your birds. Squash, tomatoes and melons are some favorites with my chickens. Since I give non-GMO feed to my birds, growing garden produce REALLY helps with controlling feed costs.
    Take care and God Bless.

Thank you for showing how you cook the meats. I’m not experienced at meat cooking. I tend to just salt a bunch of meat and bake it in a covered casserole dish. It feeds me for a week. But it can get a little boring.
Question: buying beef by the pound, I see these huge pieces of meat at Costco that are the cheapest, but what do people do with them? It’s huge. Do you know how to cut it up? How to cook it? I don’t know what you’d call it, but it’s a bigger piece of meat than would fit in any pan. So curious, because if I knew what to do with it, I could save a lot of money. Any of your viewers know what I’m talking about?

@@davidleah4usa921 Those cuts of meat are roasts and brisket type meat. They are a tuff piece of meat but those are better for roasting for hours in an oven or slow cooking. Next time you go to Costco, I would read the name on the package and search how to cook it on TH-cam. Instant pot works great for those types of meat like chuck roast.

If I may make a suggestion, look up Butcher Wizard's channel here on TH-cam. He walks you through cutting up the larger cuts of meat from Costco. There are other channels that will show you how to cook them as well.

This video was good timing. I had bought that Ninja Foodi and I wasn't sure I'd like it. I opened the box but didn't take it out. I told my husband I was going to sell it on eBay, new in box. But watching you use it, I think I will keep it and try it out. On those burgers, did you close the lid? Or did you just cook them open, like on a grille? Thanks.

I tried carnivore diet but at the end of 6 weeks I hated mealtimes I mean I love meat but sometimes wanted to gag at end of meals because it’s very boring to eat one thing only I just don’t like eating meat that much I’ll just continue to stay away from wheat products that helps a lot no processed food either unless I make it ( I love cooking and playing with my food) I think that makes us different lol 😊

If you're not hungry for meat, you simply don't eat because you don't need it. That's how hunger / saity hormones work. I can eat a different meal daily, and not get bored.

@@danagreen9264 I get that way if the meat is too lean and dry. Meat has to be fatty and juicy. That brings flavor and eventually feeling full. Carbs bring blood sugar spikes and binge eating which is not good. Try adding spices.

I see someone mentioned music. For me any background noise/music is distracting and very irritating, even at a very low level, especially when trying to concentrate on what is presented. Like fingernails on a chalk board to me. I know others are effected negative too and don't say anything. This is not a complaint or request, just information. I will just unsubscribe. If I forget and try your channel again and say something please just ignore it. So many people make the same mistake, sometimes I can't remember who I mention it to. It is like TH-camrs are having a competition on how fancy they can get. I know people with hearing aides also often find background music/background noise irritating.
