This was my second weapon after thundercage. One little neat trick is to build up real life fighter buff, then switch for a weakpoint expansion shot. Of course my third weapon was an afterglow.
I would have been very happy to see an actual testing on the effective debuff applied by Nazeistra's. Maybe the 30% reduction only applies to normal enemies, but does not apply fully to say Gluttony, what if the actual defense reduction turns out to be 10% on a colossus, instead of the listed 30%? Would it still be a viable option, in place of sheer dps? My math might be inaccurate, but in my mind I see it like this: we have 4 descendants in a fight, each one doing 100% possible damage. By using Nazeistra I might be doing 20% of my possible damage by not using say Enduring Legacy, while giving every other 3 descendants 30% "more damage" with my debuff. 3x30%=90%, add my 20% and you get 110% total squad damage, hence the total squad damage gets increased by 10% which is still a plus... But what if the actual debuff applied is 10%? We would get a net loss instead of a gain in damage, and a significant one too... Do you think you can do some testing around this assumptions?
Naziestra is a beast weapon tbh. Not sure why people see it as strictly support. I put up some serious nimbers with it. Sharen defense melt build comes to mind besides the ones you mentioned.

I really enjoy using this weapon, not only is it a good team support, it sounds and feels phenomenal too.

Point to note, you need to have a devotion mark on an enemy, to restore an ally's shields.
