I purchased and installed a Veloslide in my Carthago motohome and it worked out for the first couple of months. I pulled it out to access the bikes at home and it wouldn't slide back in. Luckily I was at home and had access to the tools to release the Veloslide and allow it to shut. The bikes needed to be removed and if this had happened when I was away it would have been a big issue. I am still waiting for a reply from Thule as to how to proceed. I now wonder if a complexity of this bike rack may be an issue.
