    The Isntree Green Tea toner is the first hydrating toner I tried and I absolutely loved it. Took my about 6 months to use it up and definitely saw a reduction of oiliness and redness while using it, and even now a month after using it up my skin is still doing great. I'll definitely consider repurchasing!

      I’ve been using the Isentree toner for about a week now and while I like how it feels on my skin, I find the smell very off putting. Kind of like burnt coffee. And I can smell it for hours after putting it on my face. Did anyone else have that experience? Or did I just get a bad one?

      @@dianamartin407 that's kind of odd, i've gone thru a few bottles of this toner and while i smell it at first while putting it on, it has a sort of tea leaves + dirt smell to me (smells like a forest, i don't find this unpleasant) i certainly dont smell it for hours.

    If Dr Dray is recommending toners, you know that toners must be very good. Not surprised to see mostly Japanese toners because toners (what they call "lotion") are their most popular kind of skincare products and they are usually top notch, perhaps even more so than Korean toners I'd say.

    My heart just took a hit with your comments about Co Q10, specifically, as it comes in Eucerin face moisturizer. I’ve been using it daily, AM and/or PM, since discovering it a little over two years ago. I’m old, and don’t have ‘ten to twenty years to appreciate’ seeing a difference 😕.

      Q10 is a powerful antioxidant. The antioxidant effect will start working immediately to slow down skin ageing by eliminating free radicals. So your skin will be ageing slower immediately but the collagen boosting and wrinkle smoothing may take a while. You could incorporate a retinal or tretinoin to see faster wrinkle smoothing.

I have very sensitive skin, I'm a redhead and avoid fragance at all costs for skin or haircare products. I also have horrible hormonal acne and on tret which has helped, but I am on month 5 of tri-cyclen, it has really helped but still struggling with some cystic acne. I just started using the Instree Green Tea Toner and I really like it. I was experiencing some red irritation from nightly use of retinol and this product seems t calm that. I also have normal to oily skin which seems improved from use of the La Roche-Posay foaming cleanser plus the Instree Green Tea Toner. I really appreciate your educational videos, Dr. Dray! Thanks very much.

    I've been using the Isntree Green Tea Feesh Toner for several weeks now, but unfortunately it hasn't reduced my skin's oiliness in the least. To be fair, no product has ever worked to reduce my skin's sebum production. I've been using tretinoin every night for 3 years and that too has had no effect. Even age hasn't slowed down my oiliness. At 39 I'm as oily as when I was a teenager. 🤷‍♀️

    With the urea toner at the end, Dr Dray said that the keratolytic effects are seen at 10-25% urea, and this toner has like, apparently 2.2% - 3.3%? which is no where NEAR enough to get those effects, so I don't know why she mentions that as a benefit of the product... you will still get the moisturising benefits of urea at that percentage, though. People do really like the product.

    Hada Labo Lotion No 1 for men was a life- or should I say face-saver for my partner. I absolutely loathe those after-shave concoctions with loads of alcohol and perfume in them, I swear they could fry a chicken. So I tried to convince him to get rid of them, and, I have to admit, the male-oriented marketing caught my eye and got my attention, otherwise, I don't think I would've been smart enough to choose something like this as an alternative for after-shave. He's been using it for the last year and, needless to say, his face thanks both of us on a daily basis. :D

    Hi there! Your videos have already taught me so much. Finally I have a term for these bumps on my forehead and cheeks: closed comedones!
    I’m breaking out a looot at the moment, and I’m wondering if the new products I’ve introduced to my routine (it’s been a little over a week I’d say) could be the cause for the bad breakouts.
    I’m 24, and I have combination, acne-prone and dehydrated (I think so!!) skin, and the new products are from Green People: their “SCENT FREE ANTI-AGEING 24-HOUR CREAM 50ML” and their “SCENT FREE CLEANSER 150ML” (I’m allergic to perfume). I fear that the moisturizer might be too “thick” for me. I’m also using PC BHA 2% every night (is that too often..? 😅) and sunscreen every day.
    Please help! Thank you!

    • @chesiresays
      @chesiresays 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The “breakouts” you’re experiencing might just be purging bc of the Bha (since it’s an active ingredient) that you started using so frequently although your skin has no tolerance to it. Start using it only once a week and when some time passes start using it twice a week, repeat the process until it gets up to 3 times a week and just keep it there.
