It’s just that certain cultures have successfully bred this Natural Skill Out over many generations. Musician friends of mine who have traveled to West Africa (this is Central, but it seems to be the same here) say this: there are No Musicians in the villages I went to. The concept of a “musician” is foreign to these people. Music is Much more closely connected to the culture than that. Did you notice that Every Member of that little group was contributing Something to The Mix? And actually everyone makes up their own part. Kinda like Life: Everybody’s Different. And Everybody has a part to play. Fantastic!

It's that some societies raise their babies to be part of what the adults are doing, and don't exclude them only to children's activities. This baby clearly knows what's going on and feels that he is part of it! Really, all children should have this opportunity!
That got soul stirring really quickly. IDK, for some reason I perceive many of these tune as hanging on the fourth scale degree rather than the first, which makes it sound unresolved to me. Other than my potential tone deafness, I wish I could figure out why.
