I absolutely agree. I collect American girl Samantha stuff, and I could spend a lot of money on a tiny embroidered pillow or make my own tiny cross stitch pattern that's close enough and makes me happy to see, even with the imperfect nature of it

Most of the blank ponies seem to be sold out, and I'd feel bad customising an old pony (I'm too sentimental about toys 😅), but I don't mind waiting. You've inspired me to restore/rejuvenate some of my childhood ponies in the meantime. They're all gen 3, which I don't think I've ever seen you work on before, so it'd be cool to see that if you have any gen 3s lying around ❤

Learning about the official Rapunzel pony and getting to see you create your own variant was such a fun surprise! The result is so lovely. As for a spooky pony, maybe something based on a classic movie monster, since you've already done a mummy? Or just an original Halloween design from you would be really cool!

Hi retrogeek! I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now and love all of them a lot! I actually have a question regarding retro brightening. I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide for 2 or so years now with no issue, but have started to see a lot of people spreading worrying comments about the long term effects it can cause to the vinyl. (A few I see we’re apart of the MLP community) is it OK to use benzoyl peroxide on dolls vinyl? Will it cause bleaching through the years? I haven’t seen any photos of the effects people are talking about on dolls, just MLP so that’s why I thought asking you would be of help! Wonderful job as always!

I bought some off Etsy but it is ridiculously straight and can not be set in any way other than stick straight, so it doesn’t look right on the pony…. Oh cool! I was trying to teach myself how to draw anime, but I didn't have a ruler since the 2020s to the present.. Thankfully, my parents gave me the rulers so I can try again! Thanks for that advice! Also, I'm going to high school in 2 days because I tried to make bodies, but sadly I haven't done the anime bodies. Soo I decided to move on! I know that my drawings aren't good because I don't have a ruler for them. Anyway, yes I do draw on my phone and my pc. But yours gave me inspiration! Also I'm deaf in my right ear, so yeah.. I don't know how to speak Japanese but I tried it in middle school. All I know is you can use the index finger to make a sign for a Japanese greeting "Konnichiwa!". I also found out that you can use your hands to sign alphabets in Japanese using your fingers! I'm so forwards to watching you do the customization of my Roblox OC, I also got a base for that! Seems like I need to buy a base for that and customize it! Also I do bases for every characters and make every OCs using bases. And I've been watching you since 2022!

It used to be quite difficult because to learn how to read, but now you can do it by "sound". The best way to learn, though, is to keep watching anime!! Good luck in school ☺️☺️ I hope you love it!

Hi retrogeek! I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now and love all of them a lot! I actually have a question regarding retro brightening. I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide for 2 or so years now with no issue, but have started to see a lot of people spreading worrying comments about the long term effects it can cause to the vinyl. (A few I see we’re apart of the MLP community) is it OK to use benzoyl peroxide on dolls vinyl? Will it cause bleaching through the years? I haven’t seen any photos of the effects people are talking about on dolls, just MLP so that’s why I thought asking you would be of help! Wonderful job as always!

I bought some off Etsy but it is ridiculously straight and can not be set in any way other than stick straight, so it doesn’t look right on the pony…. Looking for something with a bit of wave like what is used in these videos!
Oh cool! I was trying to teach myself how to draw anime, but I didn't have a ruler since the 2020s to the present.. Thankfully, my parents gave me the rulers so I can try again! Thanks for that advice! Also, I'm going to high school in 2 days because I tried to make bodies, but sadly I haven't done the anime bodies. Soo I decided to move on! I know that my drawings aren't good because I don't have a ruler for them. Anyway, yes I do draw on my phone and my pc. But yours gave me inspiration! Also I'm deaf in my right ear, so yeah.. I don't know how to speak Japanese but I tried it in middle school. All I know is you can use the index finger to make a sign for a Japanese greeting "Konnichiwa!". I also found out that you can use your hands to sign alphabets in Japanese using your fingers! I'm so forwards to watching you do the customization of my Roblox OC, I also got a base for that! Seems like I need to buy a base for that and customize it! Also I do bases for every characters and make every OCs using bases. And I've been watching you since 2022!
Oh wow, that's so cool!! I would love to learn some Japanese. I've been practising using Duolingo (do you know the app?). It used to be quite difficult because to learn how to read, but now you can do it by "sound". The best way to learn, though, is to keep watching anime!! Good luck in school ☺️☺️ I hope you love it!
Yeah! I once used Duolingo at middle school but my math/science teacher asked me why did i use that app.. but she explained why. So I'm not going use it. Besides, I didn't use the ruler since 2021-present.. So yeah thanks!@@RetroGeekCrafts

Great customization! I have to ask though- what do you use to poke new holes for hair in the pony? A sharp needle? And any tips to make sure you don’t accidently make too big of holes- or damage the pony.

Oh, good question. The green one I use came with the rerooting/rehairing tool. I don't really know the name... Let me see if I can find it (brb)
