  • Welcome to another Market Chat Episode. In this interview Trader Amogh shares his buy and sells rules that have helped him achieve success and consistent profits in the market. His swing trading rules keep him disciplined and allow him to identify what type of market he is in and trade accordingly. We go through his best winners from the past few years discussing buy and sell points as well as current stocks he's watching and his MarketSmith Screens. As a swing trader he operates within a shorter time frame than most standard canslim position traders, so it was great to hear about his methods and how me manages risk.

Informative video thanks again for your time gentlemen. I found it interesting that Trader Amogh has only read two investing books. I've asked for many of them for Christmas. Not necessarily requiring extensive reading fits the suggestions I've seen from Minervini and others that say the best teacher is practice by putting skin in the game. I have also taken this approach and have obtained solid results so far in the few months I've been actively trading. I would still like to bolster my knowledge as I do see things like wave theory that I need to learn.
Richard would you mind trying to interview Tomas Claro? I saw a biography on his trading style and it appears he says he is a swiss army knife approach. This goes against what some traders preference to master one chart pattern. I think it would be fascinating!

    • @RichardMoglen

Another great interview but leads me to a question. The question is " Markets are known to be random and that is why there are buyers and sellers on each side but with these interviews, learnings like VCP, cup and handle, RS etc , if everyone learns the similar pattern to buy where are the sellers coming from or will come from? In short your interviews are or would omit market randomness or am I too novice to think so?
    Thanks again
