@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC Compensation is fun on the range for sure, but I wouldn’t carry one for self defense. Both of mine are in my rotation for carry so I train the way I carry. I’d love to try to run one for the fun for sure. I just can’t justify the cost for just plinking on the range. I’m not saying carrying one is like horribly bad. I just wouldn’t recommend it with today’s climate in politics. They are after gun owners and trying to get you in every way they can down to even the ammo that you carry. @@usa174 i’m fortunate to own many glocks, and many MNP pistols. The ergonomics of the Smith and Wesson are better for me than the Glock . Also, from a durability standpoint, the Smith & Wesson‘s have held up, just as well as my glocks. Nevertheless, I’m not selling any of my Glock pistols!
Roy, I am unsure what you’re referring to when you say the Glock 25. I assume you mean the Glock 45 which is a double stack magazine and the frame size is pretty much identical to the Glock 17. Thank you for watching and commenting I hope you will subscribe to the channel and share it with friends and family.
Before it's all said n done I'll own every full size Glock. I don't have any desire or need for a compact. I love everything about Glocks. I have G20 G17 G23 (23 or 19 is as small as I'll go) next I really wanna get G40. I think it'd be fun to shoot.
Hey, I’m not familiar with what you described as a weight compensator. Are you talking about a compensator for the barrel itself? Thanks for watching and commenting.
this was a great video on a great gun i'm going to buy my first gun and it's going to be this pistol right here. i like the way the gun felt in my hand and i have to buy one the place where i saw it the price is 650 not bad so i'm going to get the glock 45. i should get the glock 19 as well because it's the compact version of the 45. i want to know what's a good holster to conceal the g45 or this have to be a self defense round
Sir, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. It really comes down to your body shape, and how you plan to conceal the pistol. Many people have no issues whatsoever concealing, a full size frame like this Glock 45. However, some people prefer a, single stack magazine set up like the G48. I use the shield arms 15 round magazines in this particular handgun and it’s one of my favorite every day carry pistols. Frankly, you absolutely would never go wrong by buying a Glock 19. I own four of them, and it found them absolutely outstanding. As far as Holsters, it really depends on what you’re looking for. Inside the waistband, outside the waistband, appendix carry, 4 o’clock carry. I hope all this helps. And, I hope you will consider subscribing to the channel and sharing it with friends and family.
I'm a first time purchaser going armed security listening and watching different videos to decide on a conceal and duty weapon. Any good suggestions appreciated. Thank you Sir❤
I would recommend a Glock 19 9 mm pistol. These are close enough to a full-size pistol to be easy to shoot and compact enough to be easy to concealed carry. I hope this helps. Thanks for commenting. I hope you will subscribe.
Sir, thank you so much for watching the video. Regarding my choice, it would depend on the application or mission. The full size Glock 17 is a great duty or service weapon. However, the combination of the full sized frame, combined with the slightly shorter barrel of the G45 seems to be a fantastic balance to me. Frankly, I don’t think you could go wrong with either one! Once again, thank you for commenting. I hope you will consider subscribing to the channel and sharing it with friends and family.
Has anyone had an issue with their Glock 45s slide not closing when you manuallly pull it back to close it on a newly loaded mag ? It closes fine with the release but not always when you manually pull the slide back to rack it
It’s possible that you were riding the slide forward, and that is causing the round not to fully seat and the slide to be out of battery. The best way to rack the slide is to be aggressive ….pull the thing to the rear then let it go. Many people ride the slide forward, and this can cause stoppages like the one you’re describing. The other issue could be the ammunition though that would happen in both instances. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Watch the video and ask the question. Hopefully, you will subscribe to the channel and check out some of our other content. By the way, there is one video on the channel about the “power stroke” in which we discuss how to effectively rack the slide of a pistol.
Thank you for watching. It all comes down to personal preference. I still have two Glocks that have the finger grooves. I’ve found, for my hands, not having the grooves works better. I know many people like you who appreciate them. It always comes down to a personal preference with frames, sights, triggers, and grips. Thank you for commenting. I hope you will subscribe to the channel and check out some of our other content. Stay safe.
I feel like we all have a mental illness at this point. It's like the iPhone nothing actually truly changes with it and everyone raves. This is quite literally like every other Glock with the most small changes ever
Hey Sir, I agree with you in many regards. Glock has done very little to innovate their product. That being said, I do enjoy this pistol with its full size frame, and slightly shorter slide. I own several other Glock, 9 mm pistols, and I have to say this is my favorite in regards to balance and suitability. I do appreciate you watching and commenting and hope you will consider subscribing to the channel and viewing some of our other content.
@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC respect. I own a 19X and do love Glock I just can't help but notice at this point that they're really is no innovation. I feel like next they'll change where they engrave the Glock logo on the pistol and we will all go nuts over it 😅
@@jdinn32 so true! And, their lack of innovation has opened the market for so many other fine manufacturers. I happen to be a huge fan of the Smith and Wesson, M&P9 mm pistols. They have constantly done upgrades to their trigger, frame size and provided options for users. Glock, on the other hand, seems to be following the lead set by other leading manufacturers at this point.
Has Glock entertained the idea of a G17 length barrel w/a G19 lenght grip,or do they already have this? The G45 has its place but when it come to concealed carry the grip is usually the difficult thing to hide. I shoot a G30 & I do wish it had just enough grip so that I didn't have to have a magazine to establish a full grip, that's about the only thing I'd change on it.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, many people have suggested the Glock 19 frame with the Glock 17 slide. To my knowledge glock has not listen to its customers. As far as I know, this set up does not exist. The Glock 45 would not be my primary go to for concealed carry. I prefer the Glock 48 or Sig P365 XL.

Yes, thank you for sharing that. I agree. I always just remove the slide from the frame and then remove the screw that attaches the compensator. Little bit of extra work, but I think well worth it based on the performance of the product. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Sir, thank you so much for the suggestion. I appreciate you watching and commenting and hope you will subscribe to the channel and share it with friends.
Thanks for watching. From a personal protection standpoint, press checks make sense when you've confirming you've got a loaded round in the chamber. As an instructor I've seen many people fail to seat the magazine and when they lack the slide there is no round chambered. This is embarrassing in competition or a class but could be catastrophic in a self-defense event. Most basic self defense training teaches this important skill in a level 1 class... regardless if you're shooting a carbine, shotgun or handgun. As noted, I prefer doing this from the rear of the slide on a pistol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you'll subscribe!

Irs just another glock. I've got many cuz they all work... not because they are the greatest technology or the most innovative...i have them because they work. So a new model/style/generation is just that...the newest with the same everything else
Sir, thank you so much for your perspective. I agree with you. The Glock is a utilitarian defense tool that is very reliable. They have failed to innovate at all in the last 20+ years. Like you I own several blocks and would want a Glock if there were no other choices. These days I primarily shoot Smith & Wesson, M&P 9 mm pistols. They have continued to innovate and offer different options. Nevertheless, I still will always respect and appreciate the simplicity and reliability of the Glock design. I recently added a radium, arms ramjet and after burner. These really enhance the way the pistol shot for me. Granted, I have a physical handicap which doesn’t give me as much recoil control as others who have two normal hands and arms. Once again, thank you for sharing your perspective and input. I don’t know that I’m quite illegal at this point, but the far left progressive folks in the state are intent on disarming the public. It’s incredibly sad and disappointing, because so, if you understand the value of personal protection and self-defense. The G45 is a full-size frame. It takes magazines for the Glock 17. The Glock19 magazine is too short to work in this frame. The pistol comes with the same magazines that a Glock 17 uses. Thankfully I do live in Alabama. Far less crazy than say being in Oregon. But why give a lawyer the option to come after you for carrying a modified gun??? Just my opinion. Stay safe and stay ready! 31B out!
You mentioned a different recoil impulse between the m&p and Glock. Which do you feel is softer?
I don’t know that one is softer than the other it’s just different. Most people probably wouldn’t even notice it, but given my physical handicap, I do notice felt recoil more than some might.
Thanks for commenting!
I love Glocks. It’s all I own at the moment but man that M&p feels good in the hand. I want that metal version.
Does thdG25 have the thin grip or standard size vrip?
Roy, I am unsure what you’re referring to when you say the Glock 25. I assume you mean the Glock 45 which is a double stack magazine and the frame size is pretty much identical to the Glock 17.

Before it's all said n done I'll own every full size Glock. I don't have any desire or need for a compact. I love everything about Glocks. I have G20 G17 G23 (23 or 19 is as small as I'll go) next I really wanna get G40. I think it'd be fun to shoot.
Why does glock not make a weight compensator for the 45 like they do the 17 and 19?
Hey, I’m not familiar with what you described as a weight compensator. Are you talking about a compensator for the barrel itself?
Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC it makes the short barrels look like the barrel end of a desert eagle.

this was a great video on a great gun i'm going to buy my first gun and it's going to be this pistol right here. i like the way the gun felt in my hand and i have to buy one the place where i saw it the price is 650 not bad so i'm going to get the glock 45. i should get the glock 19 as well because it's the compact version of the 45. i want to know what's a good holster to conceal the g45 or this have to be a self defense round
And, I hope you will consider subscribing to the channel and sharing it with friends and family.
i@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC i'm going to buy me the glock 19 and the glock 45 and i'm going to learn the both of those guns

I hope this helps.

dam good. It goes bang every time.
Yes, sir! I’ve never had a Glock pistol that did not deliver exceptional reliability.
what is your choice glock 17 gen5 or glock 45
Sir, thank you so much for watching the video. Regarding my choice, it would depend on the application or mission. The full size Glock 17 is a great duty or service weapon. However, the combination of the full sized frame, combined with the slightly shorter barrel of the G45 seems to be a fantastic balance to me.
Frankly, I don’t think you could go wrong with either one!

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC i wish it was something that easy. I think it has to do with the mag

Thank you for watching. It all comes down to personal preference. I still have two Glocks that have the finger grooves. I’ve found, for my hands, not having the grooves works better. I know many people like you who appreciate them. It always comes down to a personal preference with frames, sights, triggers, and grips.

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC literally!
@@jdinn32You are so right. I own three Glocks. They're great, but the "reviews" are ridiculous at this point. 😄
You can sort of get that kind of set up with the gen 5 Glock 47 and Glock 19, you can have the compact grip but with the Glock 17 barrel
You could essentially get a threaded barrel to make it the 17 length barrel for the 19
all Glocks = Honda Civics.
great at nothing
but good at everything.
take that Honda and build on it or just drive it for 300k miles.. its really that simple

The only problem I have is to lock the slide so that I can dismantle the firearm
Yes, thank you for sharing that. I agree. I always just remove the slide from the frame and then remove the screw that attaches the compensator. Little bit of extra work, but I think well worth it based on the performance of the product. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
I have a hard time with those two little pins on either side when you have to push them down to remove the slide is there is no easy way
Any other thing was you had mentioned replacing the sights on the clock 45 model to iron sights what brand it was SX something tell me where I buy them
Try Night Fision sights. You will not be sorry.

Press checks... never understood the concept.

At 3 - 7 yards you really shouldn’t even have to aim lol just point and shoot.
I think you are illegal in the state of Oregon.
I don’t know that I’m quite illegal at this point, but the far left progressive folks in the state are intent on disarming the public. It’s incredibly sad and disappointing, because so, if you understand the value of personal protection and self-defense. Over the last couple of years, many people on the far left are shocked when they call the police and the police don’t comfort 30 to 40 minutes even if there’s violence involved. It’s a very sad situation.

So does it take G17 mags? G19 mags? G45 mags? Is there a difference?
The G45 is a full-size frame. It takes magazines for the Glock 17.
The Glock19 magazine is too short to work in this frame.
The pistol comes with the same magazines that a Glock 17 uses. These are 17 round standard capacity magazines. Unless you live in a state that restrict mag capacity.
