As someone who has been following and learning from you, the OBSBOT camera has truly changed my life. I can't recommend it enough. I'm actually using the larger versions, and my video production process has completely transformed. I first started with this brand in 2018, using a standard tracking webcam for calls. Now, my entire studio runs on these cameras. Plug it in, it focuses. Turn it on, it records. It tracks me perfectly, and the quality is amazing. Listen to every word he says-it's all true.
Can't count on TH-cam to show me the best content creators anymore. How in the world did I just stumble on this guy's channel? I should have known about him a decade ago. Do better TH-cam algorithm!!!
Great video Doc! I have been using an Obsbot Tiny 2 for a while in my studio with no complaints. When I do live events outside the studio, I take it with me because it is just plug and play. I like the price point and performance of the Tiny 2 Lite but for road use I’ll probably stick with the Tiny 2 because it comes with a hard case and the build quality is a little better. But for the studio, Tiny 2 Lite 100%. The other thing I love about both the Tiny 2 and Tiny 2 Lite is that I can ditch the CamLink!
You sold me. A number of the other demos make it look like the picture quality is subpar (brownish). You did a MUCH better job of showing what the camera can actually do. Thank you for explaining what settings you use to get the picture quality you get. Could you share your lighting setup?
Mahalo 🤙🏽 Glad you liked the video, and you bet I'll share my lighting setup in a future video! I'll link it back here when I'm done. Hello Dock Rock! Do you know if you can record downward videos? Let's say I want to record an horizontal video like in Tasty videos, or an unboxing video, using a 90 degree tripod, will it work with both cameras? The IA sensors won't get confused by the orientation of the camera? Thanks a lot for the answer.
@@DocRock ty for the heads-up. I've tried the Meet 2 within during this month and I somehow couldn't get a well lit (exposed) picture under low light when compared to the OG Elgato Facecam. The OBSBOT center camera settings unfortunately didn't give me the quality I want, whereas the Facecam was well lit/exposed, albeit with some noise/grain.
@ small sensor will never look good under low light. It is a physics problem. Ok the reason OWLS can see in the dark is their massive eyes 👀 we can’t because we can get that light in. Mine looks good because I have a 200W Nanlite COB as the main and a 60W COB as the fill and a 100W as a hair light. My scene looks dark but there are 18 lights in my space not counting the light curtain at the back. People mis understand the light for dark. Think about in car scenes for movies. You can see the actors but the car still dark. Is all about control and shaping
@@DocRock true that and I appreciate the answer. I just noticed the Facecam to perform better/different under the same lighting situation. I was hoping the OBSBOT to be an upgrade or improvement over the Elgato one. You have some nice light setup there 😀

This review sealed the deal. Just got here yesterday. The auto focus will help me show reptile babies on lives better.
Those baby reptiles are gonna be stars! 😂
I just receive mine today just because Doc recommend it :)

@ thanks. I have good lighting, home studio setup. Using a 22mm lens on my cannon just wondering if the osbot will beat out the cannon
It's possible change the background with a bench or mountain or others , thanks
not with the OBSBOT software but zoom will do so
Thank you for your Review, this is awesome, is this the PTZ Version or the tiny2lite version?

Yes it can. i use my Tail air this way
The quality looks incredible on your video, do you do something special for the lighting ? Anyway, than yo for the content
I use COb lights like the Nanlite 60 and a 24inch soft box. here is a good cheap one amzn.to/3CJxwq8
Great video, though I still can't decide between the OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite and OBSBOT Meet 2 (want to use it mostly for streaming).
