But, as per my knowledge the Defense Force will always prefer the Hypersonic Missiles (using Scramjet Propulsion Technique) as compared to ICBM, because an ICBM will have to follow the Ballistic Trajectory or very few ICBM can get Quasi Ballistic Trajectory which both have predictable path and can easily get detected by even any normal X-Band Radar beyond 1500 km and as of today the guidance system of the interceptor missiles are matured enough to easily intercept any ICBM as they have sufficient time to intercept. However Hypersonic missiles is made to fly low to take the advantage of earth's Horizon due to which they are not getting detected (only OTH Radars can have a very little chance to detect but cannot predict the location, not even to a near proximity of 10 Km) and once they reach to the close proximity, then the radars are capable of detecting this kind of Missiles and opponent hardly get few seconds to react upon it (even CIWS couldn't get that time to respond to that missiles) due to its immense speed during its terminal phase.
Hypersonic missiles are meant to destroy the strategic locations accurately without revealing its launching location to get the benefit of 1st Strick surprise attack. It is not weapon of multiple launches. Hope things are clear why this world is crazy to acquire this technology.

yea NOPE that is what russia & china keep telling the world & no interceptor is cheap enough or good enough for 100% .
ICBMs are mass produced so they are much much cheaper & most new ones have Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle at that point god help you O bonous they can be launched for anywhere (ballistic trajectory is no longer needed after 1970s better tracking & booster controls). Its just for projection of tech like SR71 & USA main force if focused on stealth Cruise missile with counter countermeasures (much cheaper & one is more than enough & u can launch few for the cost of 1 hypersonic )& to shut up public they are working on hypersonics

Kyunki Scramjet Engine 0 velocity se start nahi ho sakta, it need supersonic air to start.

I keep saying why people say SR 71 is great its because it can endure mk 3 for hours every thing else will slow down after a while or run out of fuel with engine damage eg " mig 25 Although its thrust was sufficient to reach Mach 3.2+, its speed was limited to prevent engines from overheating at higher air speeds and possibly damaging them beyond repair"
