Watched a video a teen took of his dads physical abuse. When dad was confronted by cops, he actually defended it by saying he didn’t do it intent to harm. After he denied everything, not knowing there was a video. Even his two younger kids defended the dad, one having also been hit by him in said video. No one would’ve believed the teen if there wasn’t a video. Kids need to document their abuse. No one believes until there’s evidence. It’s disgusting.

I had bruises on my neck to prove it, and on my wrists, but she just told them I did it to myself so ofc they believed her over a kid. People do not listen to kids enough.
I mean there's nothing wrong with needing some evidence. I'd hope they'd start an investigation into the accusations to find evidence to then prosecute. Even one of the clips used in this very video shows him apologizing specifically for the "inappropriate massages" and he voluntarily admits that countless people witnessed those instances very often at video village. It feels like suing everyone in existence is a scare tactic more then anything. Surely the legal department was ready for this when they okayed the project. Even if they weren't, it seems extremely difficult to show knowing falsity, actual malice, or any sort of disregard for the truth on any of these claims. It also seems like some of the claims are opinions or literally true at face value

From what I understand about defamation law I have a hard time believing his lawsuits won't be thrown out, everything he's stated as evidence was nothing more than assuming even his attempt of proving actual malice was speculation. Considering how difficult it is to win defamation cases for any standard case I can say with this pitiful case he will be destroyed. It is possible though that he doesn't actually want to win he may just want to financially harm everyone who talked about it by using the very expensive legal process
Yeah he's also making the assumption everyone making comments about him being a creep are bc of the docu-series but in reality people have been speculating and saying stuff about him forever even when his shows were airing people found some of the stuff super weird and questionable.
