You know, for all of the faults with the Breakers content, the raider is NOT one of them. All the voicelines and animations are gorgeous, and they look really fun to play this season. That said, I do think that they have their priorities skewed, focusing too hard on the raider, and ignoring stuff like maps and netcodes. I respect the devs and the talent they put in, I just wish that talent was placed in the other places it needs to be.
They also added a new kind of limited banner that you can ONLY spend DP points on, and it has more meta skills (or at least 1?) than the standard ones you get with tickets and zeni. They're skewing themselves MORE
When you go down your second time I'm pretty sure you get shot by their blasters. They still kill when they feel they need to like when Gamma 2 tried with Piccolo, for the sake of "justice."

Even on your second execution you don't just disappear in an explosion like the other Raiders make you do, you just get teleported away as if your death timer ran out. Hedo even comments on it, asking where the incapacitated foe disappeared to.
I like how this orange piccolo put up a much bigger fight against your cell max than the people demonstrating the season. That says alot about who really plays the game

I feel that although the Anni has almost no non-raider content, the raider is incredibly good. Gammas and Cell Max are the best addition to this game since Black and Broly Also, I would love it if Gamma 1 and 2 joined the Survivor side as AI fighters, kinda like Zamasu was to Black and help beat Max
It’s kinda funny, it feels like the community kept saying that every new map was worse than the last. And now, instead of changing their map design process and philosophy, they just decided not to make new maps 😒

Already can tell the Gammas need damage reduction against supers specifically. Cause its stupid that their health can be shredded like Guldo's. Special needs cannon is going to be back AND IN FORCE.
And just got to the point where Magenta got JUMPED. He needs to have some more tools to disengage a fight. A barrier, or a tossed teleport, SOMETHING. Cause all it's gonna take to lock him down is camping the bases, and stun spam.
They don’t need Guldo health but it’s okay that they’re kinda squishy. They can evolve really quickly & have auto evolve. So leveling up shouldn’t be too much of a problem with them.

I think both the raider and Super Transpheres are well done and thought out for this season. Now we just have to hope they’ll listen and step things up on the transpheres, netcode and maps
I'll be honest, this was really entertaining to watch. I think they did a pretty good job with the presentation of everyone who is playable level wise for the new raider.
That’s just another reason but we weren’t getting a map to begin with. Assuming a map was planned to be made, they probably would have lowered down the effects of the scope to accommodate.
@@jelloistasty I meant visual effects. I’m assuming the original commenter meant it would have been a lot of work because there is a scan overlay on a SMALL portion of the map. They would have had to make a texture for each section of the map. Personally I think a simple overlay texture would have worked just fine.
A lot of people are saying that the devs overemphasized the raider, but I'd argue that that and the eye glitch are signs that the devs are losing trust from Bandai. They made them as flashy and cool as they could to try and get players back, and couldn't run through quality assurance (and possibly playtesting if the endless Magenta losses are anything to go by) or make non-raider content due to that. I really hope that this game survives to see better days.

I feel like, just like baby, premades are going to be the gamma's bigest problem. You saw how fast your gamma one got cooket. So imagine if that's what randoms coud do, imagine all premades runing special beam, gigantic roar, rebellion sphear, etc.
Wait till teams start learning to guard the labs, already had a game where every single lab was being guarded. And since it was a pre made there was no escape. Trying to max out just resulted in crashing out.
@jelloistasty I've seen him lose a ton of health from a stun, a melee super holding him in place while other launched their supers. Besides I was simply saying that is the most effective way to deal damage to magenta.
I just had a game where I was as a survivor and we were getting cooked and the gammas summoned shenron and actually lost the game because it turns them into magenta and that just let us easily kill magenta
Another cool thing, is the level 4 isn't game over. You can have a chance, especially if the level 4 is juiced with proper ult transphere boosts. I think overall it's a fun raider for both parties and really showcases the potential of the game being a fun silly game instead of a sweat fest.
I like sparking zero, but i like xenoverse’s pvp more. The vanish timing is kinda hard and i feel like i cant play the characters i want. In xenoverse every character except a few are viable.
People seem to be loving this raider but let us see if fatigue hits. I think this season is much better than 7 with much needed balance changes to things such as baby level 1. I don't think it's up to the dev team and they are likely being told by higher ups not to talk bad and are only able to do so much with a limited budget/time.
Wow, they completely scuffed Magenta's camouflage ability. What's the point of deploying a decoy if all it does it make you locked into place until the decoy's done? When I first read about it, I thought the decoy would be AI-controlled while you'd still get to run as Magenta. And it seems you did as well, because that's how it'd make sense, not like this...
I think they give you extra priority if you buy a new Raider. Happened to me last season too. Probably intentional so that once you buy a Raider you can hop into a match to try them quicker.
Nah bro. I'mma say right now. My prediction is people will come to realize they were FAAAAR too harsh on Baby as a raider. My prediction is we will see a mix of a lvl 2 and lvl 3 strats for the Gammas when ranked rolls around. No Magenta, because he offers WAY too many advantages to survivors. No cell max. Because without a huge AOE move that can damage and knock back multiple targets in his surroundings, the same scenario will occur: Giant Orange Piccolo (who can stagger Cell Max with every attack) will get in his face and force a fistfight while the others will peck away. Cell Max is not the scariest raider in the slightest. He is hands down worse than the Great Apes, as Great Ape Baby and Vegeta don't have to deal with a transphere constantly knock them off the Super Time Machine. Which can survivors can work on FREELY during the Magenta Stage AND Cell Max's AD. Then again, staying as a level 3 raider while DRAGON BALL ARE IN FACT PRESENT THROUGHOUT THE ENITRE MATCH... is risky business. Idk about this raider guys. 😬
You actually can not stay at level 3 with this raider. His energy auto fills like a couple other raiders do. Eventually he is going to either die due to a low health pool or auto evolve to Magenta.

Otherwise the strat everyone is employing is to find a key and a ball, then hoard them and wait out the timer. It’s very cheap and dirty but I don’t blame them. Magenta is just the worst part about this raider.
@@Rad1antGeneralZelcina I mean a decent survivor team is eventually going to jump them for the key/DB's so even then there is a good chance the Gamma is going to either die in the process or they survive but in the process lose the key they were guarding and then end up Magenta because of it. Saw it happen first hand i na match earlier actually. Gamma was cooking the largely low level lobby I was in. A few of us managed to jump to knock out the key and DB and the plant triggered the evolve. Moment he came out and was detected the two people we had with D-Change chased him down and killed him.

Employing this strat when you’re lv 3 and very high in the air makes it very difficult if not nearly impossible for survs to wrestle the key and any DBs you have from you. A premade or especially sweaty survs will still probably counter this strat though
I've played this game since it started. The gammas suck. Worse than Baby. IDK if there are still a lot of bugs but my lock on doesn't work most of the time and my damage to survivors is almost nonexistent. Cell Max takes the longest to break out of any stun I've ever dealt with compared to other giants.
Gamma level 2 is really, really weak. I just played against a premade they killed me instant with 3/4 stuns + spamming makanko sappo I did the same just after this game, i killed a gamma lvl 2 in one fight easily.

I tested it with the boys, Gammas/Cell Max is unironically weaker than Baby because their health bar is made of paper.

You actually can not stay at level 3 with this raider. His energy auto fills like a couple other raiders do. Eventually he is going to either die due to a low health pool or auto evolve to Magenta.
@@Dragonskull1057 The Gammas only evolve to Magenta if they lose all their health or if the STM is out. Otherwise the strat everyone is employing is to find a key and a ball, then hoard them and wait out the timer. It’s very cheap and dirty but I don’t blame them. Magenta is just the worst part about this raider.
@@Rad1antGeneralZelcina I mean a decent survivor team is eventually going to jump them for the key/DB's so even then there is a good chance the Gamma is going to either die in the process or they survive but in the process lose the key they were guarding and then end up Magenta because of it.
Saw it happen first hand i na match earlier actually. Gamma was cooking the largely low level lobby I was in. A few of us managed to jump to knock out the key and DB and the plant triggered the evolve. Moment he came out and was detected the two people we had with D-Change chased him down and killed him.
@ Yeah but the gammas have skills that make it easy to avoid large fights and the universal instant descent every raider has. Employing this strat when you’re lv 3 and very high in the air makes it very difficult if not nearly impossible for survs to wrestle the key and any DBs you have from you. A premade or especially sweaty survs will still probably counter this strat though
I've played this game since it started. The gammas suck. Worse than Baby. IDK if there are still a lot of bugs but my lock on doesn't work most of the time and my damage to survivors is almost nonexistent. Cell Max takes the longest to break out of any stun I've ever dealt with compared to other giants.
Gamma level 2 is really, really weak.
I just played against a premade they killed me instant with 3/4 stuns + spamming makanko sappo
I did the same just after this game, i killed a gamma lvl 2 in one fight easily.
the raider is so cool, but everything else ruined it, this is really depressing ngl...
