As a fellow Beatles super-fan, that's how I am when I talk about the Beatles-inspired screenplay I wrote. Em Cooper did a heroic job bringing this song to visual life in such a playful way that is true to the spirit of the Beatles as people and musicians. Absolutely stunning. Reminds me of the film, "Vincent," where they employed artists to make an animated film about Vincent Van gogh using an enormous amount of actual paintings to use as frames for the film and shooting them one at a time. Each frame was an individual painting. It's simply a masterpiece in itself and yours is equally amazing & beautiful. Thank You for sharing.

The animation process Em describes is how tradition animated films were made - with numerous individual drawings on cel sheets, done by hand. The fact it's also traditional oil painting on the cels makes it more remarkable. The mix of older and modern methods to make and present the video mirrors the Beatles' own combination of traditional guitars and advanced studio techniques to create music that still resonates today.

It is really cool how someone's art inspires someone else's art.
It's a fabulous job of directing as well, you'd almost have to make decisions early on about what you're going to do, break the scenes up, figure out how many frames you need painted and what the transition frames will look like. I would think she'd have had to storyboard it out with sketches first and figure out what can be done in a 3 minute run time. What a tremendous amount of work.
She should be very proud of the end result. It is a beautiful video.
