- After a long trip across the ocean, we start to find our new “normal”. Although we’re still living out of a hotel room, we pick an apartment, explore our surrounding area, figure out the subway system, and obviously eat some excellent Korean food! It’s hard to believe it has already been a week!
I hope Team Rowe have a good time in Korea.

That grounded toilet is actually more hygienic than the sit-on-it one, because when you scoot down to do your job. nothing touches your skin. So much cleaner!
Agreed! Nobody likes sitting on public toilets, right? 😅 And the bathroom was so clean.
@@TeamRoweGoGo Yeah, I have to say though, I'm pretty surprised you ran into one of those. They are old and a lot of places got rid of it especially places like malls. Haha It must have been an old building. Thanks for the great video and hope you have a great experience in Seoul :)!
@@Vicky-ji1iw actually some new buildings are built with those grounded toilets too. I've seen those in a very newly built subway station in Ilsan( where BTS leader RM is from). The restroom was built in traditional Korean design and had such vibes of old Korea when you walk in the restroom. It felt like a mini rest spot where you want to relax. So clean and cozy. Anyway, some people actually prefer that kind of toilet, esp the elderly. It really is more hygienic than the seat toilet when nothing touches your skin.

I had a friend who worked for the US govt. so I was able to stay a night at the Dragon Hill Hotel, too! I recommend Mom's touch. That's everyone's favorite. McDonald's is kinda downward in Korea now. Koreans thesedays go to Mom's touch, subway, and burgerking.
It’s funny you mention Mom’s Touch. We actually just had that shuttled to us for dinner a few nights ago! It was really good! And they sent a pack of gummy bears for the kids.

i’m sure that Itaewon is nice, but it is noisy because there are many bars.
So I recommend visit Jamsil or Han-river, Yeonnam-dong in seoul, they are good for kids!
