;---; I feel that, while the things she says as Belaf is dying are largely a reaction to the memories as a whole, a big part of her reaction all the same and why she struggles afterwards is that on top of that she's realizing she just killed someone her mother loved a lot. the way she looks up in startlement as he says "as i meet my end..." and you can hear her torment as she addresses him "you, what's with you--?!" I'm positive some of her anguish at that moment is specifically over Belaf, whom she's killed, and not just from the memories. It's so sad.

So I say, once you have the maturity to accept that the people you're hurting are people yet still proceed to harm them, you can be called evil. What I'm trying to say is: Faputa wasn't evil, she just lacked empathy and went into a dissociative state and commited atrocities. Wazukyan, on the other hand, was definitely evil.

Faputa had no idea. All she knew was he smelled like her mother and must have eaten her siblings. She didn't know about how much he struggled not to and how he was pretty much the only Ganja asides from Vueko who really regretted Irumyuui's torment... Only found out when it was too late. I'm sure she now sees him somewhat differently from the others, just like with Vueko, and is glad she knows about both of them being there for her mother.

The storytelling is amazing and particularly the world building how they managed to fit in themes of love seriously that takes a lot of fucking skill in the writing world, The atmosphere setting environment, artwork in world building are all top-tier, The character growth of some characters in the overall development of characters is something to be cherished and commended This is the best dark fantasy Manga/anime I think I’ve ever read and My 3 favorite anime out of like 200 it’s just too damn pretty to be dark The undertones are pretty dark, but it’s not all sorrowful
