I think what attracted these 3 actors to these roles was the chance to play COMPLETELY against their standard "type." Meryl (the soulful Oscar-winner) gets to play a shallow, tacky maneater. Bruce (the everyman tough-guy action star) gets to play a nebbishy, nerdy pushover. And Goldie (the sunny, adorable sweetheart) gets to play a psychotically vengeful femme fatale. :)
Actually at the time this movie was made Bruce Willis was most well known for his comedy work, and his role in Die Hard and Die Hard 2 was him acting against type. It wasn't until the 1993 when he got pigeon holed into just being an action star.
After that scene there was a scene in the morgue with a corpse of a priest (that's why the nuns were there in the hall)... Before the worker leaves (this was completely cut) he doesn't close one of the locks correctly and then slowly the dead priest comes rolling out on the slab (when Ernest is talking to Madeline) and then (before the "It's a Miracle!!") Ernest bumps into the slab with his ass.
True.. but... Meryl Streep would later say. "My first, my last, my only..!" about this film.. The special effects drove her to near insanity. If she was off by even a few centimeters from her mark it could cause havoc regarding the CGI. "Try pretending that this lamp shade is Helen (Goldie Hawn)... And then have to do the same thing ten or fifteen times with only a green screen behind you! Sure it made for a great end product.. But never again!" I can't really blame Ms. Streep for feeling that way...
I love Goldie's contact lenses after she gets shot and comes up out of the water. They're like an extra creepy pale (dead looking) blue. Very cool color. The movie industry should use them more in horror films. They'd be great for all sorts of things, from zombies to vampires or even ghosts. But they always go with greens, yellows, or reds. But there's just something haunting looking about the pale blue one like Goldie was wearing. Very creepy!
God, I LOVE this movie. So underrated and the effects were astonishingly good at the time. The moment where Goldie casually and elegantly sits on the couch and the handle goes through the hole in her torso, I could watch that over and over. Glad you watched this one! It reminds me of The Last Action Hero from 1993 in its fun, campy underratedness. I highly recommend that if you haven't seen it already.
As a queer man, I can confirm that this is absolutely a gay classic. I’ve seen this movie at a gay bar with friends as well as friends houses. Besides Goldie, Meryl and Isabel being icons themselves, the film itself is pure camp which we just love as well as the weird obsession with youth. On another note, besides Meryl’s issues with the special effects, Goldie wasn’t a fan of how the film turned out as well. There was an alternate ending that the cast preferred but, when it was played for test audiences, it didn’t work at all, which is why they went with the funeral theme instead.
"I want to be alone" is is a line from fellow Swede Greta Garbo in the movie rand Hotel. She was famously a bit of a recluse so this was a bit of very conscious tongue-in-cheek self mockery. An under-appreciated gem of a movie with some brilliant performances and ground-breaking effects. I saw it in the theatre when it was released and really loved it, and we were all amazed by Zemeckis' amazing use of the new movie magic tricks. BTW you can see the golden Sempre Viva pin on Goldie's lapel a few scenes earlier. ;)
This is my favorite role portrayed by Bruce Willis! It was the total opposite of his "Action Hero" status. All three of the leads did a great job playing against type.
I really like how the main three actors get to truly show their range here by going against type and all go full in with the camp too. It's a very entertaining movie with fun performances.
I love how Isabella Rossellini's character calls Meryl Streep's face "one of the most beautiful faces ever to grace the silver screen". In fact (in my opinion), Isabella's mother's face truly is one of the most beautiful to ever grace the silver screen.
I’m just noticing this now, but even before the contacts come in, Goldie Hawn pulls off the most intimidating dead-eyed, emotionless stare I think I’ve ever seen.
I think "funny accents" can be done right for instance Monty Python's Life Of Brian or Father Of The Bride. Also Princess Bride comes to mind also. But yeah.... I don't think I've seen a badly done one but you never know.
I went to a small missouri town with a college friend for the weekend for a mini vacation. We went to their one small time movie theater to see this. We liked it. A friend from his home town (who also went to our college) happened to be there coming out after it was done and he thought it was stupid. Our favorite line was "NOW A WARNING!".
I remember seeing this in the theater and being blown away by the visual effects, especially seeing through the hole in the body. It was like a little sneak peak at what was right around the corner, with CG dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and erasing Lt. Dan's legs in Forrest Gump.
A lot of people forget about the CGI in this movie and that it was out a year before Jurassic Park. Good movie too, and Bruce Willis actually seeming to have fun as well.
Going from Sophie's Choice to this, WOW. They had to have fun filming this. Always thought this was also a warning about cosmetic surgery and how it can get out of control. If I remember right, Isabella's body-double was Catherine Bell from JAG.
I went to see this at the theaters when I was on a trip to Los Angeles to see my dad. We also snuck into "A League of Their Own" and "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid". That was a good day! My dad was house sitting for David Carradine at the time. Fun summer!
I dont want to spoil myself...but 😅 When they made her "into the fat middle aged cat 🐈 lady, with the suit and her eating 😅 frosting out of a can.." reminds me of the girl who played Willow 😅in the show of Buffy the vampire slayer. In one of the parody movies, they made into a fat middle aged woman with dracula long toe nail 💅🏼 (s) 😂 in a fat suit 😅
Meryl's a legend. OK, so if Elvis took the potion, why is he still old 70s Elvis and not young, handsome Elvis from the 50s or at least the Elvis in the badass leather suit from the '68 Comeback Special?
A few years ago Corridor Crew reacted to/tried to figure out the effects of this movie... That let me know that this really is, from a technical standpoint, still brilliant.
If you want to see more of Bruce Willis comedy, consider: "The Whole Nine Yards" - comedy with Mathew Perry (RIP) "Blind Date" - 80s romance comedy with Kim Bessinger.
Good film, good performances from the trio of Meryl, Bruce and goldie and good special effects especially the walking backwards scene by Meryl and goldie's holy stomach. Shanelle for another great Robert zemeckis comedy you should check out "used cars" from 1980 starring kurt russell.
I saw this movie in 1992. It was at the dollar theater, where they showcased films that have gone through a 3-week run. One of the funniest films I've ever seen. I never knew Meryl Streep was funny until I saw this movie
For a good, Bruce Willis-y time try North. Well done (read: consistent, intentional)accents are far less offensive than irritating character voice choices. People speak all kinds of ways but I hate it when someone intentionally makes their voice unbearable to listen to, even characters we don't like, or are supposed to be funny, or whatever.
One aspect of this movie that doesn't get talked about enough is just how rare it is for women to engage in physical comedy, especially involving violence. Even today, over 30 years later, it's still very rare.
I remember such a thing being the moment that sold me on Felicia Day's 'The guild'. When her character in the first season gets punched in the face by the over protective mother of her friend who crashed on her couch. I mean, how many series have the leading lady who also wrote it getting knocked out with a punch? Whole web series is pretty fun and really grows in budget over the years too, got even quite a few famous guest cameos. Also it might have the best role for someone in a wheelchair I have seen in media, a bitchy goth girl gamer called Venom who isn't above exploiting her disability. And yes, the actress Teal Shearer is actually in a wheelchair.
Hey Shanelle! Shout out from the US Marine Corps! This was a movie that I watched a few times over and over as a kid! I thought it was very well done and a very fun and a very wholesome movie all around! They just announced that Bruce Willis can't recognize Demi Moore any more any more which is probably the saddest thing. (And what just happeend to Perry) Alzheimer's runs in my family so I can kind of relate and I feel like I'm kind of getting first stages of it. I treat it like a game I forget what I'm doing and I have to figure out what I'm doing again. I don't want to take it as a negative like everybody else does. I like to find the positive in anything that's a negative. Anyways Bruce Willis was definitely ahead of his time and Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn what can you say about those two. Just too sensational actors! Loved your reaction to this love your reaction to all the movies that you've reacted to. You popcorninbed, Cinebinge, Asheleigh Burton, etc., you guys make so many people feel good about themselves it's a beautiful thing! Keep up the great reactions and I can't wait to watch the next one with you!
Before I even watch this....just seeing their names makes me want to suggest three more for your list, one Meryl, one Zemeckis, and one Goldie. Meryl's greatest, most iconic, groundbreaking performance is the incredible "Sophie's Choice" (1983). The idea there isn't a reaction to this movie is bizarre to me! The reason she's the G.O.A.T. is that movie, more than any other. It's the female equivalent of De Niro in "Raging Bull". And one of Zemeckis' earliest film is a riot, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978), about a bunch of Beatle-crazy teenagers in 1964. So much fun. And for Goldie: Private Benjamin!!!! Ok, looking forward to this reaction! This is when Meryl reinvented herself as a comedienne! All her movies had been heavy before this and "She-Devil"!
@JeffGes Too bad for you, it's a great movie and thanks for potentially scaring her away from it and giving spoilers, it's not THAT hard to watch, it's a drama, it's an acting masterpiece, I'm sure she'll be able to handle it. Every reactor does (the grossly inferior) Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan or Chernobyl, they can certainly handle Sophie's Choice, give me a break.
Isabella Rossellini: Total beauty Of course, being the daughter of legendary Ingrid Bergman doesn't hurt either. You can hear and see Ingrid in Isabella's voice and face. Exquisite
I'm 55 Years old and Laughing my Ass Off (I wish!!) at this reaction thus far (9:15...). Upon "Your" command Madam... "Back in the Day..." When we heard accents other than ours...we often thought of them as more Intelligent or Otherwise. Thus...why they were used in 80's and 90's movies "Unabashedly!!" Well that's how my going on 3 drink "memory" thing goes thus far. Either way...I know I'll laugh as much by the YT cuts as well as your reaction. Carry on babe!! (and don't take it too seriously...it "is" just a movie...)
If you like this kinda camp, please please watch Soap Dish! Sally Field Kevin Kline, Teri Hatcher, Roberty Downey Jr.,and more. Watching good actors act bad really well is a trip.
To answer your questions: have no definitive opinion about accents, it depends on the movie and the actor, but there is a dopey mainstream comedy style that can be annoying and formulaic. I don't mind the accents in Raising Arizona or Fargo, or James Coco in Murder By Death, those are the three that came to mind in defense of accents! Hank Azaria in Birdcage, Mickey Rooney in Breakfast At Tiffany's and this guy, maybe they're on the other side of the net!/Have definitely rehearsed in front of a mirror, can't remember what for, though! Probably talking to some girl! 😂/I actually stayed away from this movie at first, partly because of the reviews! This and "She Devil" were both poorly-reviewed mainstream comedies that Meryl did in the early 90s to reinvent her career (she also did a mainstream action movie with Kevin Bacon), most of what she did in the 70s and 80s was drama (other than Woody Allen's "Manhattan" and Nora Ephron's "Heartburn" with Jack Nicholson). At the time I didn't appreciate what she was doing but now I can see how incredible Meryl is in this. Big surprise. They're all great, but Meryl is the female De Niro. (Amazing romance drama: "Falling In Love" with De Niro and Meryl Streep, 1984, him after Raging Bull, her after Sophie's Choice. Maybe for off the channel, a lot of people don't know that movie. They are AMAZING together. She made two with De Niro and two with Nicholson, all four in the 80s. Delicious to watch her with either of those guys). Thanks, Shanelle!!
I love this movie! I was 9 turning 10 when it came out. Probably first watched it when I was a teen but I love it so much! It's in the same vein as Troop Beverly Hills (1989) for me. That's a classic one too. :-)
😄👍 At 4:45 we see three of the funkiest looking wigs ever captured in a single shot. 😎 A movie you (and every New Yorker) should definitely watch is Robert Zemeckis' magnificent debut, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." It came out in 1978 but does an incredible job of recreating Manhattan circa 1964. 🌆 His second film, "Used Cars" (1980) is also a hoot.
Eugh, SO glad to see you react to this movie - an absolute diamond of film! I can't say too much more as I've only just started watching your reaction, though I suspect that you'll love it. :D
12:35-12:36 porcelain egg -very expensive- 18:03-18:05 "so what happened,to you 😅?" I fell down the stairs..😢 Really now? 😮 Yes.. 😂 "Oopsie...!" 😂 18:09-18:12 *folds her like from the scene in harry potter and chamber of secrets* "Bones, theres no bones left😅" 18:12-18:16 "You have no heart beat" 😲 ✋🏼
Please sing the entire Beverly Hillbillies intro song. Now it has been asked for and the post production title has worked. In fact more spontanious random singing. Maybe it's in the live reaction videos I'll never know because of time zones.
Catherine bell also had a role in the film as a flower girl dressed in a greek dress.. when Lisle arrives at the springparty she is escorted by her and Ai Wan is the other girl. Sadly this was cut as well... Lisle welcomes everyone and then tells a silicone boob joke (while Ernest is trying to find a way out of the room). You can even see the crowd's reaction to the joke (one shot they are listening suddenly the other shot they are laughing).
Accents: accept comedic aspects or don't watch comedy. 14:01 Isabella's real-life mother Ingrid Bergman's fellow Swede (Greta Garbo) is credited with that line in '30s film Grand Hotel.
I find it hilarious when people say Bruce Willis acted against type in this movie. When this movie was made he was still most known for his comedy work and his action movies were him acting against type. It wasn't until 1993-1994 that he was pigeon holed into just doing action movies. Granted he did manage to dip his toes back into comedy a few times in the 2000's.
ACCENTS: When done by the Right People in the right movies (Bronson Pinchot and Damon Wayans in "Beverly Hills Cop") ... Yes, Please! But using them to make a movie "More Campy" sours the Palate.
Nice One Miss Riccio!! Meryl was 43 in this, WHAT?? Dang underrated beauty I think. Hottest Plain Jane 😉 perhaps! Saw this when it came out. Liked but forgot about until today! You're great to watch flicks with. I wish we were neighbors. Opposite coast I think as I am in Oregon 😜. Can't Wait For The Next! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
3:36 - Wait! Wait-wait-wait-wait-wait. Let me figure this shit out. So you just recently found out Linda Fiorentino, actress that's been around in quite a number of movies since the '80s, exists...but you recognize Isabella Rosellini like that? 🤨🤔
1:51 - Surprisingly no. In 1991 maybe, but by '92 the overall look and feel of movies changed enough so they can be differentiated. It's like that was the cut-off year.
Considering that I was 14 when this movie came out... and I didn't watch it until I was in my 20's.. and am now 45 years old.. If given the opportunity to take the potion.. Yes.. without hesitation.. To go back to my 35 year old appearance.. and stay that way forever.. I could handle it.. but at the same time I'd be near neurotic about staying alive... and like would never leave the house I live in..!
It's weird seeing someone watch this who didn't know the second act (I think? It's been years) twist that they both took the potion. Because the trailers for the movie at the time spoiled EVERYTHING. Like it was basically "Come see our movie! Here's the entire climactic fight scene edited down to 30 seconds! Rated PG-13." I think that's why the movie didn't get as much traction as it deserved because they wanted to show off the cutting-edge motion controlled camera effects so much they spoiled the entire friggin' movie. So the first hour of runtime is basically going "Okay but when is the gory catfight?"
Gay men love this movie because of how campy it is and how we all like to be vain and how we love a good cat fight. It only gets better the more times you watch it. 🖖🌈
9:14 - I'm all for it. Of course you don't have to give a thick/silly accent to *EVERY* character in any one play/movie/show, and there are moments when it would cross the line from comedy to just plain being mean, but it's OK as far as I'm concerned.
Practicing performances... Usually it's a good idea to practice a speech you've got to do. Record it and try putting emphasis on different words etc. Then you can listen back and make tweaks
Giving an actor/actress accents in films only works if they are good at it. A prime example is Christopher lambert in the highlander movies a French man trying to do a Scottish accent.....it didn't work 🙄 and as a Scottish native I cringe every time I watch Chris trying it
Hudson Hawk is underrated, so much fun and he really gets to shine there as a comedian while still doing action, and seems to have so much fun in that role.
I've always thought of this film as a whacky version of The Witches of Eastwick (1987). I know the narratives are completely different, but they both had big stars, magical elements, and were a few years apart. We'd love to see your reaction to The Witches of Eastwick (1987), Shanelle. 👍
So true, love this comment
I definitely noticed this with Bruce, especially. This really does feel more like a Rick Moranis or Dan Aykroyd character.
Actually at the time this movie was made Bruce Willis was most well known for his comedy work, and his role in Die Hard and Die Hard 2 was him acting against type. It wasn't until the 1993 when he got pigeon holed into just being an action star.
Actors playing against type was a hallmark of "Tales from the Crypt", and this movie was originally going to be released under that banner.
The 3 leads are so fantastic. Bruce is full camp, Meryl full ham, and Goldie full psycho. It's a wonderful combination.
"NOW A WARNING!?" is one of my favorite line deliveries in the film.
Mine too!!
😂
One of the best lines ever!
“The morgue?! She’ll be furious!” 😂
So good!!
Sydney Pollack's scene, his reactions, as the ER doctor who examines her after she has no pulse, is one of the funniest things ever in movies
The film won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects and the CGI still holds up to this day.
True.. Like Goldie was related to Meg Foster...
I highly recommend that if you haven't seen it already.

i liken this movie to robocop... a silly movie knowingly pretending to be serious. i love these kinds of movies.
This is my favorite role portrayed by Bruce Willis! It was the total opposite of his "Action Hero" status. All three of the leads did a great job playing against type.
In my opinion, "death becomes her" is one of the best horror comedies and I think that it's one of the movies that is worth watching in October.
Very telling also that she calls Madeline "one of the most beautiful faces" and not, like, good at the actual acting 😂
"NOW a warning??" Still quote it to this day. Thanks for sharing. Peace, all 💕
The fact Streep more than held her own with Willis and Hawn makes me wonder she has not done more comedy's in her career.
Check her out in Albert Brooks’ Defending Your Life.
I’m just noticing this now, but even before the contacts come in, Goldie Hawn pulls off the most intimidating dead-eyed, emotionless stare I think I’ve ever seen.
Seven brides for seven brothers...watch it watch it now! Iys the musical that made me like some
I think "funny accents" can be done right for instance Monty Python's Life Of Brian or Father Of The Bride. Also Princess Bride comes to mind also. But yeah.... I don't think I've seen a badly done one but you never know.

Good movie too, and Bruce Willis actually seeming to have fun as well.
Don't forget that CGI on both movies were done by ILM (Industrial Light & Magic). This movie was a 'skin' test for Jurassic Park
Going from Sophie's Choice to this, WOW. They had to have fun filming this. Always thought this was also a warning about cosmetic surgery and how it can get out of control. If I remember right, Isabella's body-double was Catherine Bell from JAG.

Bruce Wills best performance. No joke.
I dont want to spoil myself...but 😅
When they made her "into the fat middle aged cat 🐈 lady, with the suit and her eating 😅 frosting out of a can.." reminds me of the girl who played Willow 😅in the show of Buffy the vampire slayer. In one of the parody movies, they made into a fat middle aged woman with dracula long toe nail 💅🏼 (s) 😂 in a fat suit 😅
You think you're getting that willow and then Dark Willow comes along and skins you during the soup course.
Not the worse date.
Please give the Star Trek franchise a chance. 🖖😌
Meryl's a legend. OK, so if Elvis took the potion, why is he still old 70s Elvis and not young, handsome Elvis from the 50s or at least the Elvis in the badass leather suit from the '68 Comeback Special?
"I want to be alone" was credited to Greta Garbo.
They all played it so serious... the actors must have had so much fun! A film that knows exactly what it is.
20:42 - Oh yeah. That. That reaction right there. Best part of this video. 😃
YES! I love this film!!!
9:13 I think it’s CAMP & I absolutely love it!
13:55 Greta Garbo famously said that 💜
8:46.
The saint.
But bettered by Roger Moore. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
A few years ago Corridor Crew reacted to/tried to figure out the effects of this movie... That let me know that this really is, from a technical standpoint, still brilliant.
Isabella Rossellini is currently the exact age (71) her character was in this movie.
Meryl was great in "she devil" too.
If Bruce's character was such a good plastic surgeon, why the hell didn't he fix Meryl's nose!? 😱
If you want to see more of Bruce Willis comedy, consider:
"The Whole Nine Yards" - comedy with Mathew Perry (RIP)
"Blind Date" - 80s romance comedy with Kim Bessinger.

I remember this movie was a really big deal when it came out because a lot of the effects were brand new.
So happy more people are reacting to this!!!

I didn't know about the Tales From the Crypt part but this is exactly the kind of story that would be on that show.
This film also feels like an unofficial Tales From the Crypt movie. (And I’m aware that Zemeckis did a couple episodes).
For a good, Bruce Willis-y time try North.

Zemeckis/Silvestri are one of the dream teams of Hollywood-just like Speilberg/Williams & Burton/Elfman.
The soundtrack is coming out on vinyl on recordstore day 24th of november... it even includes the music of the original ending.

FIRST 😂😂😂😂😂
Isabella Rossellini: Total beauty
Of course, being the daughter of legendary Ingrid Bergman doesn't hurt either.
You can hear and see Ingrid in Isabella's voice and face.
Exquisite
Recommended: James Sommerton’s video essay “Deep Pink” where he delves into the queer love of camp! This movie is a campy treasure.
This is a gem of a movie. I watched this in the theater.
Weird! I was just looking up this movie last night to watch it soon.
I was 11 when this came out, and Isabella Rosalini definitely piqued my interest at the time.
I love this movie! I was 9 turning 10 when it came out. Probably first watched it when I was a teen but I love it so much! It's in the same vein as Troop Beverly Hills (1989) for me. That's a classic one too. :-)
Man, I would LOVE for Shanelle to watch Troop Beverly Hills for the channel. ❤
@@erinhaury5773 It's so fun!
You want some amazing Bruce Willis ... ?
HUDSON HAWK
Now that's a completely nuts film. It's great!
you should check out Meryl Streep's other comedies from this era. Her performance in She-Devil is one for the ages.
Mad, Ern, Hel....madder'n hell...
Another movie about the "biz" they call show is "Soapdish" from 1991. A cast to die for and very funny.
This is my absolute favorite acting from Bruce Willis ever. He is gold in every single scene he is in.
This is a movie about 2 foolish women, and 1 wise man.
5:39 - For me it's the inventiveness. There are other ways, but using the mirror is quite creative, not something you see every day.
I always thought this movie had. Kind of a Tim burton feel to it
I think i cut out a comment where i felt like Zemeckis’ work is like a Spielberg/Burton mashup for me
Eugh, SO glad to see you react to this movie - an absolute diamond of film!
I can't say too much more as I've only just started watching your reaction, though I suspect that you'll love it. :D
Isabella rossellini has never looked hotter than in this movie
12:35-12:36 porcelain egg -very expensive-
18:03-18:05 "so what happened,to you 😅?" I fell down the stairs..😢
Really now? 😮
Yes.. 😂
"Oopsie...!" 😂
18:09-18:12 *folds her like from the scene in harry potter and chamber of secrets* "Bones, theres no bones left😅"
18:12-18:16 "You have no heart beat" 😲 ✋🏼
This movie freaked me out as a kid
Please sing the entire Beverly Hillbillies intro song. Now it has been asked for and the post production title has worked. In fact more spontanious random singing.
Maybe it's in the live reaction videos I'll never know because of time zones.
The woman who said "I want to be alone" was Greta Garbo. She was seen later in the movie at the party next to Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol.
Isabelle's body double for the pool was Catherine Bell (From the Series "JAG").
Two prior movies foreshadowed this one.
Bruce Willis' Mortal Thoughts and Meryl Streep's She-Devil
19:18 - OMG you're so right! Never made that connection myself! 🤯
The Frighteners (Michael J. Fox; directed by Peter Jackson) is a similar awesome movie with a similar dark vibe. Highly recommended.
2:55 - While not as memorable as others (Back To The Future, I'm looking at you), the score is *VERY* good as far as I'm concerned.
Catherine Bell (from JAG) was Isabella Rossellini's body double in this.
Gay men love this movie because of how campy it is and how we all like to be vain and how we love a good cat fight. It only gets better the more times you watch it. 🖖🌈
Into the cat fight!!! 😂😂
As a gay man, we love campy, kinda spooky fun. The snarky comments and the "glamour" of it. But, yeah. Also hot women.
Giving an actor/actress accents in films only works if they are good at it. A prime example is Christopher lambert in the highlander movies a French man trying to do a Scottish accent.....it didn't work 🙄 and as a Scottish native I cringe every time I watch Chris trying it
The movie is 30 years old, for gods sake. This was state of the art. Dont be so condescending. Hmm, i was 28 then. This was high tech fx back then.
Bruce Willis made has career as an action star, but a lot of people forget that he's a really talented comedian as well.
Hudson Hawk is underrated, so much fun and he really gets to shine there as a comedian while still doing action, and seems to have so much fun in that role.
I love this ending but I am curious to see the alternative ending with Tracey Ullman.
I've always thought of this film as a whacky version of The Witches of Eastwick (1987). I know the narratives are completely different, but they both had big stars, magical elements, and were a few years apart.
We'd love to see your reaction to The Witches of Eastwick (1987), Shanelle. 👍
22:51 - ...You're always gonna get another theory from Shanelle every other scene. 🤣
