I remember watching this when it came out and crying with laughter, watching it now 8 years later still feeling the same way, one of the best Minecraft moments ever with quotes like: "We just wanted a bit of copper" and Lewis; "You get back and pretend like nothing happened" Sips: "yeah...okay"

Wait... so the anti matter bomb made it so it shot the anomaly away towards a random direction of unloaded chunks? That insane... I could have sworn setting off another red matter explosive inside of it stopped it, but they used antimatter to shoot it away I guess.

So instead of trying to use a third red matter bomb, they just assumed that they were wrong and used an antimatter bomb instead, which repels red matter explosions I think 100 chunks away in a random direction.
Now you can refeer to this as "the incident". - "Hey! What's a Red Matter Bomb?" - "We don't talk about Red Matter. Not since the incident." - "Uhm.. ok"
If he was launching that at them like in Retribution then they would've been stuffed. Also, the red matter bomb can breach an MFFS forcefield and lets you basically shoot an Antimatter Missile into the bomb to breach the inner perimeter of the base.
well i mean in the situation that they couldn't stop the bomb they could just evacuate like 5000 blocks east or something. the minecraft world is pretty huge

This is the episode that stayed cemented in my mind since the day it came out. I don't watch Yogscast anymore, not after I quit playing Minecraft in middle school, but this episode is such a giant piece of my childhood. Watching it again brings back so many great memories.

Its Lewis Sips and Pyrion Flax who you might not be familiar with but hes a content creator who joined after they stopped making minecraft. Pretty good stuff man i love it. I came back to yogscast about 3 years ago during college finals to watch the jinglejam and ive been listening to the podcasts and watching occasional streams ever since.
I still come back and rewatch every few months. It really is hilarious because if they had just been calm and knew what was happening, they would have dispatched the original red matter bomb, shot a few rejuvenation missiles, and been done. They would have lost their items but otherwise been fine. Instead, Duncan destroyed their entire base AND THEN Duncan destroyed what was left by turning it all back into a mountain. Literally Duncan caused the majority of the fallout, but god was it hilarious
The Minecraft world is obscenely huge. Blasting it off into some random place in the world is the best way to handle it. It would take years and years for it to reach you again.

The bomb didn't give off lava. It was a breaching explosive which means it is designed to blow *into* a wall (like what SWAT teams use to get into buildings). The lava fell from up above.

Charnless They say at the end that it takes off into other, yet-to-be-loaded chunks of data. That means that it'd just harmlessly fly off. I use the term harmlessly lightly.
Charnless I actually tested Red Matter Explosive and it doesnt go over certain radius. It eats whatever gets into that radius and never really stops, making a dangerous area. Antimatter explosive seems to have only one effect. It flings it away, possibly into unloaded chunks, making the detonation zone habitable again at least.
CSxDeity From my experience, when you get close to those chunks, it just continues in the vector it was launched in, so it would just fly of to next unloaded chunk everytime

The bomb didn't give off lava. It was a breaching explosive which means it is designed to blow *into* a wall (like what SWAT teams use to get into buildings). The lava fell from up above.

Charnless They say at the end that it takes off into other, yet-to-be-loaded chunks of data. That means that it'd just harmlessly fly off.
I use the term harmlessly lightly.
Dragon Butt it only flew off cause Duncan threw so much antimatter at it.
Charnless I actually tested Red Matter Explosive and it doesnt go over certain radius. It eats whatever gets into that radius and never really stops, making a dangerous area. Antimatter explosive seems to have only one effect. It flings it away, possibly into unloaded chunks, making the detonation zone habitable again at least.
Dragon Butt harmless until some innocent soul renders those chunks and unleashes the beast once more
CSxDeity From my experience, when you get close to those chunks, it just continues in the vector it was launched in, so it would just fly of to next unloaded chunk everytime
sips and sjin suffocating in the wall was the cherry on top.

LividKiwi Yeah, Turps was apparently sending pictures of his dick to people. But the whole drama with Sjin was he was just being a bit weird and flirty with yognauts. Much more drama than necessary I think. Sjin needs to come back, TTT isn’t the same without him 😭
@@magnus877 Makes me sick when people who know nothing about it, deny anything happened, on the basis that they like the celebrity. He attempted to solicit nude images from fans and flirted with them in a predatory manner. And afaik a couple were younger than him. He was been warned about it twice before over the years. He was "kicked out" for a good reason. He wouldn't have left if he didn't think he would've been kicked out anyway.

Illier1 But they made some pretty good Jaffa Cakes. Now that I think about it, they really just kind of ate Jaffa Cakes, more so than actually make them and sell them. ._.
gamecrazy1750 It took them like 100 episodes and Sips and Sjin hopping along to get the factory running. Hell with Sips and Sjin they got more stuff done in 20 episodes than they did the rest of the series :P
