Is Simon going to make an appearance?
When ep 2
Grew up watching you guys the Jaffa Factory was one of my favorite series heck yeah awesome to see you guys bring it back years later much needed in my hectic life..
Has it really been 15 years holy crap!!!!
my god please let me play along with this series on my own, this is so cool
I was there Gandalf. I was there 2000 years ago.
The red matter bomb must be taken back to the pits that forged it, and cast into the black hole from whence it came. Only you can do this.
I was at Pig Island!🐖
Israphel beckons...
3000 years ago* but funny nonetheless
For the record: It's definitely (at least partially) the same audience, we are just older. We never left. This is amazing.
Yep
+1 , but i fear we wont get as many episodes or as quickly
Perhaps the Zoomer Slang at the start merely K*LLed off the older viewers from Cringe...
Aye
RIGHT!??! OMG
I was 12 when Jaffa factory 1 started. I am 25 now and just as excited for this !! the create mod is perfect for this
I want them to make the most convoluted, Rube Goldberg-esq machine and all it does is to make ONE Jaffa at the end of the line
Oh my god I was the same age. How time flies
13 and 26. Haven't felt this much like a kid in years
hi i love your mod review videos
Same here crazy we’ve been watching that long
I've never forgotten how much the original series meant to me. Its the only reason i subbed to the Yogscast and the excitement I felt with every addition to the series. This brought a tear to my eye. I hope Simon joins up even just once to see how the new factory is going. Thank you for bringing this back.
Hopefully during jingle jam
he died
Good news!
6:54 I am personally a fan of the more relaxed style that was characteristic of the old videos. It sticks out in the hyper stimulating TH-cam environment of today
Even when i was a 10yo, yogscast was my favorite because it wasnt anoying. Do kids really want all the screaming?
"Let me guess? Your childhood?"
"Yes, and it was beautiful."

I can't believe it, we got Jaffa Factory 2 before GTA VI
We got the original before GTA:V even came out.
Oh dang I was beat to it
and before Winds of Winter

Yooo Xeno!! Haven't seen you in ages.
it IS a fever dream! you've been in a coma for the past 2 months! wake up!!! wwaaaakkkkeeeeee uuuuuuuupppppp!!!!! we need more clliiiiiiiiippppppsssss..... (id feel awful if this was actually the case! 😳)
Holt shit hes gere
i'm sorry!! just mother nature and annoying crap out of my control 😭 everything will be back soon, promise
"DO NOT QUOTE THE OLD WORDS TO ME WITCH, I WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS WRITTEN!"
I watched the original series during a dark time in my life, it really saved me. I'm having another dark time now, I just found this randomly on a sleepless night. My mom told me that my childhood wasnt all bad and begged me to try and remember the good parts. Watching the original series, that was one of the good parts. Thank you guys.
love your pfp. you wouldn't shoot a guy wearing glasses in the face, would you? you might break them!
@@JackPorter My PFP is how you know I was really there for the OG series lol
Nice pfp
The audience may be older, the creators may be older, things have changed. But the content? The memories?
Those are timeless.
EDIT: The opening is already testing me.
This cant really be a true jaffa factory until we get Sphax Pure BD Craft texture pack up and running
That would have completed it fr
i knew something was missing
I think they tried, but it was missing too many of the modded textures
To be fair Sphax fell off hard. They refused to innovate, and instead leaned heavily into monetization. I'm fine with them not being associated with Yogs.
@@yugimotobutjacked3231How do you overmonetize a texture pack?
Lewis: "I've been away [from minecraft], and they've added things.."
*takes two pieces of bread out of the chest and places them in different slots*
"What do you mean food stacks now??"
omg I couldn't believe that - and he's for sure played minecraft recently enough that stacking is a thing, so poor Lewis has devolved to like a beta game state lmao
@@p24p14 At one point he crafts a stone pickaxe while one is already in his inventory for no discernable reason
@@octodaddy877 backup for mining? i do this all the time and sometimes end up not using it because i find iron lmao
"You can only sleep during the night OR in thunderstorms, that's interesting"
i want a giant simon face built into the side of the mountain and all the jaffas are fed into it
I think a Jimmy Santa on top of the building would work well too
that would be really funny!
And then it turns out it's just sips controlling it.
Create mod has a little flipper where all it does is launch items in a programmable arc. And it can go pretty far. It's possible.
@@skywarrior97 Looks like you got your wish
The Yogscast, Shadow of Israphel specifically, got me interested in text-based Roleplay. Jaffa Factory was one series that solidified my interest and kept me in the Yogscast community. From there, because of this text-based roleplay, I joined things like Model United Nations, got an interest in diplomacy (purely just for Roleplay), a few years later and am just about to finish my degree, starting a business, and have a full scholarship to study in Germany for my Masters, a country I fell in love with during a year abroad. I had forgotten about the Yogscast given how busy my life is, but seeing this pop up reminded me of how my life is the way it is because of these people and a simple minecraft series such as this. Such a weird concept and feeling, but nonetheless interesting and I hope (in such a weird way) that others here have been changed and motivated in such ways.
I was 7 when I watched the original series. 19 now, man has life changed, bet my 7 year old self would love to know im still watching this.
I felt that men
That hit hard
Haaha i was 13. 25 now.
I love how Lewis instantly turns into a tory oil Baron the moment he enters a Minecraft world
@@IcespherePlaysGames I wouldn't have it any other way.
Feel like Barry's going to be a Labour party worker's rights proponent, crying about not pushing things too far.
Carrying on the legacy of oil town from druidz
@@Alizudo Barry has kidnapped children to work in his factory and trapped a villager in a small glass box with a zombie to produce iron. An advocate for worker's rights, he is not.
He’s just scarred from the massive oil failures from moonquest. “Never again shall we fail to find oil!”
That's his to go persona, and we love him for it. Never change Lewlew.
Now at 23 years old watching this at work I remember coming home from primary school to watch the originals how crazy time flies
Literally same in every way

God i cannot say how much I've missed this form of TH-cam video: just three guys chewing the cud while screwing around in Minecraft. It's sad hear Simon cannot participate, but Barry is a welcome member. Here's to a good series.
oh i missed that bit, what did they say about simon not joining? is he still too busy playing wow and animal crossing?
"Just three guys chewing the cud" is definitely *not* how I'd have chosen to describe that brand of faff but I can see it lmfao
Huh, must've went over my head. Why's Simon not joining?
It's fucking weird to think it's been at *least* a decade since I started watching these dudes play Minecraft. I'm happy to see them again, and I hope it's fun for them!
Lewis 100% seems a lot more happier and just having fun nowadays
I used to watch jaffa factory every day at school, always at lunch time. Now im 27 and on my work lunch break, watching jaffa factory again.

So good to see the Jaffa series coming back for a new generation. I've always loved you guys, and I hope you remember my farming mod! -Pam
Harvestcraft was one of my favorite mods to include in my packs back in the day.

Lmao nothing changes indeed
Shadow of Israphel got me to start playing minecraft, and yoglabs and the tekkit series were what got me interested in modded minecraft. I think I was in 6th or 7th grade at the time. Now I’m an elementary school teacher and I get to tell my students “I’ve been playing minecraft since before you were born.”
Cool ass teacher lmaooo
I started mc at 14 and instantly got hooked on mega building like 200 blocks squared and when I started mods I started building stuff about 3k squared
Even built spawns for servers it was good freelance
I'm now 27
Yeah I remember playing the Beta and watching Shadow Of Israphel😂 I was there when wolves got introduced! 1.4 baby. Times were simpler
You have forgotten the most important ingredient to make Jaffa Cakes. A HoneyDew (Simon)
Episode 4
they shouldnt be doing this without honeyedew (simon)
I hope he comes along final ep as an honeydew co. executive who's complaining about how long it took and that they missed the season
@@ScibbieGames That or he comes to inspect the new Jaffa Factory.
Yeah...
15 years ago they got me hooked on to Minecraft. 15 years later I’m a father and I love playing minecraft with my son. I’m so excited to be watching this new Jaffa adventure
For anyone who doesn't wanna start watching this because of the lack of Simon: he shows up later in the series, so START WATCHING you won't regret it! (even Sips has a cameo)
Lewis saying "deploy orange jelly onto a miniature cake" makes me unreasonably happy
Sounds more like brainrot than skibidi rizz
Right? At 6:25
"15 years ago weve been popular with the kids". Omg that one hit hard.
Recently found a fellow yognaught and you guys have single handily carried childhoods
You know Lewis haven't played in years when he puts a single bread in each slot XD 2:25
"Haven't played since point two" - How Do I Craft This Again?
Man, I remember when y'all would play MC all the time and had multiple series going on at the same time. I miss it, you got me through elementary, junior high, and high school. Hope this series does well.
This feels so nostalgic and healing for the soul, good to have Jaffa Factory back on the screen after all these years!
COMPLETELY AGREE
i do miss seeing the old crew but this is is good still
I'm 24 now, I watched the OG Jaffa factory and everyone's side series back in the day. I'm just happy to watch you guys hang out and do it all again, new and updated!
Santa's belt is my favourite moment I think. Poor Simon almost choked to death on laughter.
Yeah, part of the fun of the old series was that there were a bunch of different groups all playing parallel
Literally same
Love how we all immediately got recommended it. Hope the algorithm keeps feeding it to people cause this video popped off.
Me but 23
That intro from Lewis makes me 100% believe that they're doing this series _solely_ for the memes.
And I think I'm here for it!
Kinda like Vanoss
watched the og jaffa factory at wayyyy too young an age to get all the jokes, but it being an intro to the yogs and eventually watching every other minecraft series they'd done then seeing they're doing it again is SO crazy to me, hell yeah brother lets go
yeah its worth to rewatch all the MC series again! especially the main channel stuff ! i did that during c0v1d, i even found a bunch of maps of all the servers so i could plot on the map (using Paint) where they went each episode, not sure why but i really enjoy plotting their routes! hehe
Yeah I don’t think my 8 year old mind was the target audience for the original series but man am I glad I was there
Yea I started watching when I was like 6-7 with my older brother and i wouldn’t have it any other way
24:10 The train-making part of each series IS my favourite part.
The yogscast cast hasnt crossed my mind in over 15 years and when i say insta click is a understatement
Now we're just waiting on Shadow's of Israphel 2: Digging to Deep

The Jaffa Factory is what gave me my love for the Tekkit Classic pack, I still go back to it every now and then.
Watching Barry navigate the UI: (damn he's good)
vs.
Watching Lewis navigate it: oh how adorable
Barry's competence is so nice to watch.
I honestly havent watched Yogscast much in years, who's the new guy Barry?
I need to rewatch all the old MC stuff, jaffa factory 1 and shadow of isprahel are goated
i cannot believe that the series that had me staying up past my bedtime in middle school is now back as i’m trying to get into law school
I love that the guys are redoing the Jaffa Factory, but I do wish Simon would’ve be apart of it, even if he has a cameo appearance
THIS we need Simons hot tub at some point
given that hes appeared on the main channel in minecraft a few times in the past few months i think its entirely possible for him to come in at the very end as a cameo to be the one to kill the series for plot reasons (after they make the factory i mean).
Him being an occasional cameo but not being here the whole time honestly fits.
He's the CEO by this point, not the manager of an individual factory.
I can see simon coming into the series on occasion checking on the progress
I think once the factory is done, Simon should come for an inspection.
“Do not cite the ancient texts to me… I was there when there when the contracts were written witch.”
Very excited.
also worth mentioning i was here back when Simon introduced Minecraft to Lewis and Lewis didn't know ANYTHING i would say going forward he's a lot better now than then.
Same here. "Give Honeydew 46 64" is burned into my brain.
@@mrmxypltk i wish mc still let you use item ids. now you've got to call it minecraft:tnt and it's slow and boring. both ways should work
@@soupo-sandwich I get why they changed it - adding lots of new items, as well as new variations on old items makes using ID numbers a giant pain in the ass.
But you're right. It's so much faster using item numbers vs writing out the whole thing.

No no, Harry, we want the train glorp. we yearn for the train glorp
Lewis' intro materialized a legion of ipad kids who will watch Yogscast videos with the sound on, in public.
No it lacked noob pro hacker and ever increasing numbers and a potential lottery... I think were safe.
Love how Dunc is immediately drawn to the tower. Dammit fumblemore!
0:48 and that's clipped and put into the soundboard.
I somehow feel Sarah is to blame for teaching all of those words to Lewis. He's just a poor, old, young Lebanese boy! He can't handle all that!
I couldn't handle it either, I nearly died from psychic damage from that intro!
Considering he said "Yak" at one point, I'm going to say youre absolutely right haha
As a spokesperson for gen z I would like to say: Lewis, please never say those words again
As a millenial (but no spokesperson), I wholeheartedly agree.
As someone who's kind of between the two: Yeah, NEVER again.
As a millenial with a sense of humor I whole heartedly disagree. He needs to Griddy the Skibidi Rizz every drop ;p
As another member of Gen Z, I also vote on Lewis never saying atleast half of those words ever again.
As an older Gen Z, I would like to quote a certain comedian:
"Did I use those words correctly? YOU DON'T KNOW EITHER! WELCOME TO THE PARTY!"
I'm so ready to re-watch this in another 10 years just like the original series lmao
I was 14 when the original Jaffa Factory series started up.
Now a new Jaffa Factory series is starting, and I'm here for it at the age of 28!
Your never too old for anything.
im glad to be here as the old gen, watching the jaffa factory series as it was coming out 15 years ago was truly special
Lewis being legit talking about a different path there is really cool, shows that his (and others) goals with the yogscast isn't to make tons of money, but to make good entertainment and to help people. Really like that.
I'm 27 years old, I remember the Jaffa Factory years ago, including Duncan's Lab
Don’t forget the dirt factory and all the magical stuff Rythian did!

I was 12 years old when the original Jaffa Factory series started and I would come home from school everyday hoping to watch a new episode in the Yogscast Tekkit universe and just escape from my worries. Now I’m 25 and I’m about to go back to uni to become a grade school teacher, yet I feel like that kid again watching this video
I literally just was about to rewatch the whole original series and I was pleasantly surprised to see you guys are doing another!
I’ve never been so excited for a series!!! Rewatched all the highlight videos people made of the old series to relive Jaffa 1.0!
The series that really opened everyones eyes to Minecraft mods, we are so back
Every time I see Barry's blushes on his little face picture, I think the one on the right is a clown nose.
