OliverObz I think at this point he doesn't care about what game it is, instead he just enjoys playing it with his friends, sort of like it's just some random passtime of something to do while he talks to them
OliverObz Are you trolling? If so please ignore the following backlash, if not, take note. Lewis is not only one of the original founders of the Yogscast but the CEO. The Yogscast is a company and running a company alongside filming more videos than anyone else in the yogs is no easy feat. On top of that, he is friends with everyone in the yogscast so your personal feelings are not given a shit about because regardless of whether you want him there, they want him there. Granted even I don't enjoy him sometimes but have some fucking respect for the nerdy little Lebanese boy who went from rambling about a fridge tax with his ginger friend, to donating millions of dollars to charity every year.
The fact these go in chronological order is sooooo good. Cause I wanted to relive my childhood memories of this, but not sink like a year into watching all the episodes 😂
Damn.. hearing the old intro music and the crackly mics, the old Minecraft look with that texture pack that started with a P, and most importantly, the mysteriousness of Tekkit in its first rendition. Oh, so many memories from 6th grade year. God, 6 years already since this series ended. I don't think the Yogscast has necessarily gone downhill, surprisingly; their viewing audience just got older, and they continued to make content for the kids, though we young adults are the only ones who get most of the jokes and references. ;)
I still watch them. I mostly just watch Duncan, Sjin and Lewis playing minecraft packs, occasionally watching Sips_ play Skyrim and Fallout and dropping into his streams, but recently I got into the Tabletop games like Games night, Yogsquest and Highrollers again. They still make pretty good content, though I watch so many other channels these days that they aren't the priority, but I still enjoy the familiarity. Sometimes you just need to listen to the same old bumbling idiots make a laugh out of nothing. As long as they still make me laugh, I'll always return.
You ever just watch a video, with the intention of stopping it after a few minutes to come back to later, only to just watch the whole thing through? Now have you ever done it twice?
When Simon 1st meets the giant head controlled by Sijn and cant stop laughing but they dont even bother going for a 2nd take, its what makes the Yogscast so entertaining 😂 nostalgia overload
22 now I remember getting my parents to buy the game for me after I saw their first survival video my memory isn't grand these days, but I'll always have some good memories of Beta 1.5_01
Forget memories of the Jaffa Cake Factory, half this stuff gives me a warm feeling about modded Minecraft. Only 26 pages of items, and small pages at that, no Withers, Stone Bricks, Marble, and Basalt were the only building materials I ever used, laggy BC pipes everywhere, not understanding how Kinesis Pipes worked so I never had more than 4 Stirling Engines on a Quarry, rushing an Energy Condenser with my first 11 diamonds... and so much more.
This was how I first discovered The Yogscast. I was in 6th Grade, and my first vid was episode 23 of this series that had released that day. Since then I've watch pretty much every video, and have even helped in their Jingle Jam streams!
These dudes formed my childhood really lmao I was never bored or anything just constantly watching these vids and loving it it was always the most entertaining series to watch Minecraft survival wise
The Yogscast outro music is absolutely perfect. Sums up the emotion of nostalgia, grandeur, pride, and something bigger than yourself. The silliness of a Jaffa Factory completed with an amazing series.
I found out that it was TH-cam that killed the series they changed their algorithm and the Jaffa factory no longer was on trending the bees were the final nail in the coffin
But also in the fact that most of their fans have grown up. I was what, 12 when this series started? I'm 20 now, and minecraft is not as appealing to me now as it once was, and also given the fact that I have no clue who most of the people in the Yogscast even are now.
The Great Fish TH-cam isn’t out here banning yogscast from TH-cam like Alex Jones there banning conservative voices like Candace Owens and Owen shroyer.
It was actually because the world corrupted. You can see in the last video of the series that they have the full intention of keeping the series going with their “next episode” window but when the world corrupted the series fell off. It’s a shame because this was honestly my favorite series there is.
Fuck me I had TH-cam on autoplay and was just listening to random stuff YT was recommending me... Then I hear that intro and those old mics. Almost brought a tear to my eye. I was a kid, teenager when I started listening to these guys, and now here I am slowly rocking my newborn daughter while she sleeps in my arms. How time flies by.
Thank you youtube recommendations. You took me down a trip on memory lane to the first minecraft series ive ever watched. I had no clue what was going on, i missed half the jokes, didnt even knew what a Jaffa cake is (I still dont know tbh). I thought this series was lost in my past, yet here it is, in my recommended box so long after i stopped watching it.
A Jaffa cake is a small disk of sponge cake with a slice of jellofied orange and the top is smothered in chocolate, absolutely delicious! They sell incredibly well and every Christmas they sell large tubes with 6 packets each and I get one every Christmas 😅
FINALLY, OTHER PEOPLE WHO LOVED BLACKROCK! The DRAMA of it all! I loved the crossover between theirs and Sjin/Duncan's as well! The interconnectivity of the world was truly amazing.
I wish i could go back in time qnd watch this for the first time again. These guys genuinely made me smile everyday and still do. I wish i could support them more than just subscribing
Idea: The storyline is this: Tekkit -> Yoglabs -> SOI I'm pretty sure quite a few of you know about the presumed connection between YogLabs and SOI. I theorize that Tekkit was the very beginning where the idea of building a factory initiated Lewis' insanity, thus leading - at the end - into him having the ability to do almost whatever he wanted, so then his goal became making sure him and Simon could live forever. This leads to Yoglabs, where Lewis is trying to create the perfect version of Simon over the progression of the series. We get a couple hints throughout that it's related, such as the Israphel/Lewis character in the YogDonald's episode, and a few more. The bacteria mod is most likely what Israphel used to turn the world in that area to sand, and *MAYBE* one version (clone) of Lewis ended up becoming what is now considered Israphel EDIT: It should also be assumed there a quite a few years between Tekkit and Yoglabs, enough for Lewis to recruit some villagers and start a science facility lmao
The moment I heard the intro music I felt like I was maybe 13 again. I remember having watched their Isrephel back when it was just them surviving the night. They were 10 episodes in when I stumbled on their channel! And this, the Jaffa Factory, that was a good time watching this at lunch during HS and summer. Jesus, it's been years since I've seen them and this just relaxing back to the old mics and Lewis trying to keep everyone on track
Takes me back to waiting until 2 AM so I could steal the family laptop and use it to play mc till sunrise while watching and trying to play along. Good old days.
Years later, this series kinda kicked the fandom into gear on headcanons and theories. Lewis and Sjin were aliens and Sips was a robot. What a wild ride it's been.
I found them through their first Minecraft series (one before SOI), that was the first time I discovered Minecraft and the Yogscast (I'm an OG fan 8 years long). Ever since then I've been hooked.
Myself? I honestly cannot remember, it has to have been at least seven to eight years ago. I heard about it through my youngest brother and then say his friend playing Minecraft and wanted to playing it myself. I think some time after that I stumbled upon their videos through one of my brothers, they were watching a vlog video, I've tried finding it myself just now but I couldn't. They went somewhere I think it was an event and Simon opened his suitcase and it had a couple tubes of Jaffa cakes that is all I can remember from one of the videos. I think from that point on the first video I watched was one of their adventure map videos and from then on I've watched their videos till now. Although I don't watched their videos nearly as often as I find their newer stuff their uploading is boring, referring to all the GTA videos among others. Though I watch the vlog style videos and the Jingle Jam every year. I'm not including the old vlog video as the first video I had ever watched because while technically it was the first video of theirs I had seen it was only maybe a minute at the most, where as I watched a full twenty minute adventure map video.
Skullman8942 I was the same, I had no idea what minecraft even was, just the video 'How to survive the first night' or whatever drew me in and I've been hooked since before I began highschool and have now been out of highschool for 2 years, and yet i still watch these fucking nerds for some reason 😂
Discovering this series and the characters in it was one of the best experiences in my life. You have no idea how much I enjoyed this series. Nothing is ever going to get close to the excellence that was Yogscast Tekkit.
Tekkit #76 - Bin Chute. I'll never forget it. The single most fun episode of entire yogscast for me. I still crack up years later from beginning till the end :D
this is the best video on youtube. so much nostalgia. the memories of seeing a notification on my phone that a new jaffa factory ep had come out while on the bus home from highschool and then getting so excited to watch it once i got home. thanks for this
Ahh, the Nostalgia. I found them through their first Minecraft series (one before SOI), that was the first time I discovered Minecraft and the Yogscast. I've been a fan ever since. I remember waiting for each new Tekkit episode and watching it after coming home from school. That was 5/6 years ago, I was still in Primary school and now I'm off to college. They have been a huge part of my childhood, teenage life and now my early adult life. I'll be forever grateful for the entertainment they have provided me throughout the years.
I can’t begin to imagine how hard this must have been but my god it’s worth it! I feel like I literally just rewatched the series without missing a thing! Congrats on such a great montage! Can I be really cheeky and ask for something like this for Moon, Mars and Jaffa quest please?? Honestly loved the video, such nostalgia and felt like I didn’t miss a moment of the series!
Been looking for a video like this for some time. Thank you for making it. Brings back such great memories. This series, Voltz, Moonquest, were all so ahead of their time. I miss these simple days!
@@atrumluminarium There is a very large difference between abusing your popularity to talk to girls and literally raping someone. Not condoning his actions at all, but to say its "close enough" to literal rape is irresponsible.
Ever since the beginning of their SoI series, this will always bring back fond memories of the great time I've enjoyed as a child. Given all that has gone on, this series and the other minecraft series were a fun ride. I'll come back to this every now and then and remember all the grateful content they gave us!
This absolutely gem is 4 years old. Every 4/5 months I keep coming back and watching the entire thing in one go. This and the moon quest. Pure nostalgia every time.
I remember watching TH-cam for the very first time as a little kid and finding the Shadow of Israphel series, a little while later I came back and found the factory series. This was such a big part of my childhood and got me hooked on Minecraft when it was barely a game
This series is how I discovered the bdcraft texture pack, the tekkit modpack, and the yogscast. I came in late to the seires and binged the first 115 episodes in under a week, I love these guys and thank you for the healthy dose of nostalgia :)
They always uploaded these after my kickboxing class, such a fond memory of coming back exhausted, flopping onto the bed and putting this on my shithouse iPod touch. Memories
Much thanks for this, if you feel like doing more of these, I would really like to see one for SOI, moonquest, blast-off, Whale Lords, Voltz .... hmmm just do one for each of their series please :P
I was in intermediate when this was coming out, next week I have my orientation day for university, I'm only 18 and I feel like an old man reliving an entire lifetime
@@mannmctrash What shitty things, we've never been told what they've done, only that they don't want to be part of yogscast. You'd think if it was shittier than cheating on your wife we would have known when it happened. There was that asshole who sexually assaulted people too, so if it was worse than that we wouldve have known.
@@declaringpond2276 Jesus christ dude how many of my old-ass comments did you find? It's nice to know you're thinking of me this Christmas but at this point you're creepier than Sjin, Turps and Caff combined.
This is probably my favourite video on youtube rn, this was one of the first series I watched on youtubed and have watched it so many times. Love this series and wish there was more like it, thank you for this trip down memory lane.
As a middle school kid I would watch this every morning before school and binged it over the summer. Sweet memories.

Those were the golden days. It’s a shame what has happened to the amazing and beautiful communities that existed back then.
began with shadow and into this SWEET SWEET MEMORIES
Same here man :D
DaBossBass ‘‘twas a simpler time back then
I still remember how the first time Simon, Lewis, and Duncan ran into Sips and Sjin it felt like a crossover episode.
That episode is what finally made me realize that a lot of these series were connected and that there were even more members of the yogscast
YES it was such a plot twist
I didn't watch sips back then but having watched sipsco now it's funny how different sips is between the two series

They still make pretty good content, though I watch so many other channels these days that they aren't the priority, but I still enjoy the familiarity. Sometimes you just need to listen to the same old bumbling idiots make a laugh out of nothing. As long as they still make me laugh, I'll always return.
@@lauravturner Beautifully put. That's pretty much how I feel now.
@@kyleflounder9783 same same

“Fuckin a and fuckin b” is one of my favorite underrated sips quotes
Still the best series ever. Its sooo nostalgic now. Oh the good old days 😂
You ever just watch a video, with the intention of stopping it after a few minutes to come back to later, only to just watch the whole thing through?
Now have you ever done it twice?
I have done that probably 3 dozen times on TH-cam
Ive done the exact opposite, ADD hits hard
When Simon 1st meets the giant head controlled by Sijn and cant stop laughing but they dont even bother going for a 2nd take, its what makes the Yogscast so entertaining 😂 nostalgia overload
ahh
2012
the golden era
I refuse to believe it was 2012 when I was watching this...
@Nina Tote indeed.
12 years now wow
Im 24 now and the nostalgia of these dudes is overwhelming. Only reason i got into minecraft was when i caught the beginning of SOI. Good shit
22 now
I remember getting my parents to buy the game for me after I saw their first survival video
my memory isn't grand these days, but I'll always have some good memories of Beta 1.5_01
25 now and I watched this Tekkit series when they first released the first vid. Listening to that intro was goosebump type of shit
Low-key Sips was the MVP of this series, Simon was hilarious but my god Sips was genius 😂 his line delivery was outrageously funny
You just defined my child hood
Let's be real, did anyone NOT rush for the energy condenser?
you know youve grown up when you realize Sips was actually the funniest all along.
sips was always the funniest
Sips was the funniest even as a kid. His laugh is so infectious.
I love hearing them laugh, brings back the good unsalted memories.
"And if you see Lewis... tell him I miss him." Still breaks my heart, over 5 years later.
Well well well. If it isn't the 'eco warriors'
What are you building here? A flower factory?
Went to an Area 11 concert last year (2023) and they played the album version. It was an amazing moment.
I found out that it was TH-cam that killed the series they changed their algorithm and the Jaffa factory no longer was on trending the bees were the final nail in the coffin
Zachary Rivera another great Dane killed by TH-cam fucking around with the algorithm
But also in the fact that most of their fans have grown up. I was what, 12 when this series started? I'm 20 now, and minecraft is not as appealing to me now as it once was, and also given the fact that I have no clue who most of the people in the Yogscast even are now.
Digital tyranny 👍
The Great Fish TH-cam isn’t out here banning yogscast from TH-cam like Alex Jones there banning conservative voices like Candace Owens and Owen shroyer.
It was actually because the world corrupted. You can see in the last video of the series that they have the full intention of keeping the series going with their “next episode” window but when the world corrupted the series fell off. It’s a shame because this was honestly my favorite series there is.
19:45 - 23:55
This whole segment is my earliest memories of Yogscast. There was a certain excited energy to it all that felt genuine.
Yeah, that made me tear up a bit ngl
Really appreciate this, great series and a fantastic highlight reel! Hope this was worth all the production grief.
The amount of times sips just fucking loses it and genuinely laughs so hard heals my soul
Lewis and sips have a lovely chemistry. All of them do, especially when it's all five of them
Thank you youtube recommendations.
I remember watching this series on 240p, about 5 seconds at a time 😂. Was so worth it though
Literally the exact thing I wanted to see. This is amazing! Cheers mate.
I really want one of these for Rythian and Zoey's tekkit series
Surenda Otoko Second I loved blackrock
th-cam.com/play/PLlIILxquLFWc1oT0uYngmKLwXxUdHCPbY.html here are 2 summary videos that Rythian made, followed by part 1 of the season after the bomb.
Blackrock was my childhood
I was waiting for someone to bring that up! That and Lalna, did anyone actually look up Ctrl Alt Llama or w/e? He made some neat music.
FINALLY, OTHER PEOPLE WHO LOVED BLACKROCK! The DRAMA of it all! I loved the crossover between theirs and Sjin/Duncan's as well! The interconnectivity of the world was truly amazing.
We don't deserve you this is amazing
Simon was really on fire in this series. so many memorable moments and quotes :)
I wish i could go back in time qnd watch this for the first time again. These guys genuinely made me smile everyday and still do. I wish i could support them more than just subscribing
Damn, long but worth it.
This was on my recommendation page and a wavy of emotion flooded over me
Rewatching in 2024 just to feel something.
Idea:
The storyline is this:
Tekkit -> Yoglabs -> SOI
I'm pretty sure quite a few of you know about the presumed connection between YogLabs and SOI.
The bacteria mod is most likely what Israphel used to turn the world in that area to sand, and *MAYBE* one version (clone) of Lewis ended up becoming what is now considered Israphel
EDIT: It should also be assumed there a quite a few years between Tekkit and Yoglabs, enough for Lewis to recruit some villagers and start a science facility lmao
And that's just a theory...
ItsYuBBoi a game theory?
The moment I heard the intro music I felt like I was maybe 13 again. I remember having watched their Isrephel back when it was just them surviving the night. They were 10 episodes in when I stumbled on their channel! And this, the Jaffa Factory, that was a good time watching this at lunch during HS and summer. Jesus, it's been years since I've seen them and this just relaxing back to the old mics and Lewis trying to keep everyone on track
That classic outro music... 😭
Takes me back to waiting until 2 AM so I could steal the family laptop and use it to play mc till sunrise while watching and trying to play along. Good old days.
1:53:40 I love how you can him flinch when he realizes what he's looking at.
1:53:45 always makes my chest hurt.
it makes me laugh so hard i almost puke
This is the only reason I looked for this video
Best moment ever!! ''Why is the belt below his ass'' XD
The Yogscast in their prime. I loved this series.
Even as a tax-paying adult, this will always be my go to comfort series
I sometimes come back here and remember the good old times
Years later, this series kinda kicked the fandom into gear on headcanons and theories. Lewis and Sjin were aliens and Sips was a robot. What a wild ride it's been.
Seeing this is def. Gonna make me view the series in a new light lmao
Who else discovered Yogscast through this tekkit series
i think most people who watched the tekkit series knew them because of the SOI series ;)
I found them through their first Minecraft series (one before SOI), that was the first time I discovered Minecraft and the Yogscast (I'm an OG fan 8 years long). Ever since then I've been hooked.
I watched this 4 years after it ended and that introduced me to the Yogscast
2:11:39 such a good clip... the extreme nostalgia from this whole vid is killing me, great job ;_)
I still crack up years later from beginning till the end :D
this is the best video on youtube. so much nostalgia. the memories of seeing a notification on my phone that a new jaffa factory ep had come out while on the bus home from highschool and then getting so excited to watch it once i got home. thanks for this
Holy shit man, thanks for making this!
I nearly cried at the end when they were following the Jaffas. 6 years go by fast.
Have no idea why this has been recommended to me yet again after 4 years, but I welcome it.
I genuinely loved this series growing up, and I have this video saved because I still love occasionally taking a stroll down memory lane
"leave your spunk at the door." -sips
Ahh, the Nostalgia.
I found them through their first Minecraft series (one before SOI), that was the first time I discovered Minecraft and the Yogscast. I've been a fan ever since.
I remember waiting for each new Tekkit episode and watching it after coming home from school. That was 5/6 years ago, I was still in Primary school and now I'm off to college. They have been a huge part of my childhood, teenage life and now my early adult life. I'll be forever grateful for the entertainment they have provided me throughout the years.
6 years later and this video still makes my heart smile and brings back so much nostalgia. Long Live Yogscast and Shadow of Israphel
With Jaffa factory 2 coming out on Friday, I had to come back for a rewatch!
1:50:09
This is Sips dooming the Tekkit series.
Watching this in 2024 after al these is so nostalgic!! The intro music got me!
Growing up you realize all those moments with sips and sjin were fucking gold
Just remember! Sjin got kicked out of the YogsCast for being a sexual predator to the women in the group :/
Well aware captain buzzkill. But I’m not in favor of letting his shitty creepy groomy deplorable behavior trash my good memories.
Been looking for a video like this for some time. Thank you for making it. Brings back such great memories. This series, Voltz, Moonquest, were all so ahead of their time. I miss these simple days!
i’ve watched this series so many times genuinely one of my favorite.i been around for so long i love yall
I miss this... I miss this a lot
Also "give Sjin back his rape alarm" is a joke that hasn't really aged well lol
tell you what, sjin will still be one of the funniest members to ever be in yogscast.
@@toothyisgreat2972 obviously
I feel so conflicted every time I see him now
@@elijahjones8739 well his allegations are sexual misconduct so it's close enough
You are awesome. Thanks for making my Friday great again!
Memories
My recommended has blessed me and all of you other grown ass adults going on this nostalgia trip with me
Best of tekkit
*plays the whole series*
Thank you for pushing through the agony of making this so I can relive coming home from school and watching these
Much thanks for this,
if you feel like doing more of these, I would really like to see one for SOI, moonquest, blast-off, Whale Lords, Voltz .... hmmm just do one for each of their series please :P
Don't forget the series before SOI, the very first Minecraft series. Absolute classic.
Skullman, the series you mean is actually SOI season 1 ;) then they did adventure island wich is season 2, then the rest of SOI wich is season 3.
I was in intermediate when this was coming out, next week I have my orientation day for university, I'm only 18 and I feel like an old man reliving an entire lifetime
You don’t know how much I appreciate this!! Amazing!
I’m so happy I’m not the only one wanting to remember simpler times while watching this… I miss the old days
Everybody knows the Sips laugh, but you have to admit Sjin's is pretty spectacular too. 1:57:01
It's hard for me to appreciate **REDACTED** anymore, given the shitty things he did.
