THE guy has been playing for 60 years and he is doing his best work now . BLUE DUST !
A true man he is. I grew up with his music. He is a legend, no doubt. But, most of all, he is a decent human being. It's so rare these days. Keep well Eric. In my Serbia people would say, "He was born for good reason."
You seem to be forgetting his racist outburst! How offensive was that ? Ok he was probably coked to the max or full of booze but those sentiments were inside him and the stimulants freed them .
Frightening indeed !
@@andrewarthurmatthews9990 I seem to remember he acknowledged this outburst and has apologized for it more than once. Get over it already. People make mistakes in life, and nobody is 100% perfect all the time. It is much to his credit that he has acknowledged and apologized for his own mistake. Ironically, this is what a true man actually does.
A decent human being? Lol do you have the internet in Serbia jfc
How blessed are we to live in the same world as Eric Clapton!
I sure feel blessed, being born in '52 I had the 60s and 70s with all that amazing music coming out each month! - Saw Clapton in Copenhagen on his "Just One Night" Tour :)
Not when he has a Hamas Guitar we are not.
@@SagaLarton Good Parrot! Who's your trainer? Douglas Murray? Dave Rubin?
@@johnsheehy4192 Get educated. Ironically calling somebody else a parrot. October 7th OK with you then? Thought so.
@@tonyperring You need to get educated on basic logic. Supporting a collection of people with a common cause does not mean that you like or support everything else done for that cause, on one specific day. You can not judge the legitimacy of a grievance by the worst example of actions of any of the people sharing that grievance; that is only an excuse to close your mind, when you do that.
I've been studying this conflict for decades. Oct 7 isn't OK at all; it never should have happened, but I know enough to know that something like it was inevitable if it became possible, given the way IL has been treating the natives of Palestine, the real descendants of the ancients of IL/PL, like garbage, "in word" since 1917 when the European Zists in Palestine declared the native population of mostly non-Jews to be an "Arab problem" (the native Jews didn't see them as a problem), and "in deed" since 1947/48 when they started violently massacring and expelling non-Jews, while corrupt world powers looked the other way. It is a fact that IL actually supported the creation of H4m4s to "divide and conquer" the Palestinians and put a Islamist-themed representation for Gaza, and was financially backing H4m4s right up to weeks before October 7, through Qatar as the middle man.
Anyone who assumes that anyone who is against IL or for the PL cause is a fan of Hamas, and like terrorism against Jews as an end in itself, is either lying, ignorant, or parroting liars..
Eric has been bringing us the best ever for over 60 years. We all bow to you thanks ❤gl
Just back home from tonight's gig at the RAH, ears still buzzin and just processing what I've seen and listened to. Have to say it was one of the most enthralling nights of music I've ever had. Eric's ability to marshall his band is exceptional and his arrangements are worthy of the originals. His playing, of course, was measured and clinical in its execution. How he bends those notes really gets me! Rest assured everyone, Clapton is still God.
It was really greattt
And to think that this person has almost died of drugs and alcohol abuse, and is now healthy and still performs for so many people in the world to enjoy !
Just what I just said to my partner as I watching this... Hendrix had similar drug issues, I feel angry that he's not playing the Albert Hall in 2024... but maybe he was murdered like Brian Jones... Good job claplton wasn't managed by Jeffrey's.

Those four empty seats in the front row are killing me! Thanks for the upload, great sound
Maybe Jewish fans who walked out upon seeing the guitar.
@@ronmey7500 Nope. You mean Zionist fans. My folks were there with their friends some of whom are Jewish. Hippie Boomers 4eva
@@ronmey7500 Or nazis late for their rally
I hate that front row are for the wealthy these days, nobody even tapping their feet. I had front row for Clapton in 2005 because I waited all night in the venue lobby. Those seats should be for real fans
@@ronmey7500 lol
I marvel at the sight of this survivor, still alive and laying down the blues law, after such an eventful and dangerous run. People decry cellphones in live shows, but with these recordings, at least the less fortunate among us can get a peek. I commend your steady hand while recording slowhand!
Bless rock and roll
Wow!, Just Wow! Still smashing it at 79, how inspiring. How in the heck is his voice still so strong!
No teleprompter for lyrics and still standing still play that various chords and guitar solo..
What an incredible man..
Eric Clapton ❤️🙌
Thank you for this video!
My Son and I were there on the 21st.
This wonderful video makes the memories of seeing Sir Eric Clapton so vivid. We travelled from California to see him in his favorite place to play! Thanks again
Refreshing to see an audience listening to the artist rather than screeching and whistling like the mobs at most concerts.
they're just old. Folks should be up and dancing, not sitting there like they're watching TV. :>)
Thank you for this video 💯 Been a fan of this brilliant musician since Yardbirds/ Bluesbreakers and everything he has created, always will. His tribute to Jeff Beck was outstanding also! 👏🫶
Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this! I had a ticket for this Eric Clapton concert and could not make it to the event and so it is wonderful to be able to see it here! Also, you filmed it from approximately where I would have been sitting so it's the next best thing to actually being there. You have made me very very happy. 👏
Thanks for sharing. Listening to EC at RAH....awesome.
It is a privilege for a few, to be in front, a few meters from one of the best blues artists in the world. I am not exaggerating when I say that at 52 years old I would be dancing in ecstasy. Long live "Slowhand"
Second greatest guitar player ever
All I can surmise is that you haven’t seen many blues guitarists. Clapton is very low down the list🥴
Aber mieser Sound...eben alles geklaut
@@klauspoker5409don’t forget that your hearing it recorded from a phone, too the side of and slightly behind the stage. You’re hearing a weird mix from the stage with the piano player & the drums the loudest instruments. I bet it sounded stellar out in the main audience.
Can't wait to see him soon! Still sounds amazing. Nothing but respect to this legend, who spoke out against the thing that could not be talked about. Where 99% of the music industry totally failed. Clapton is the last of the mohicans. Clapton forever!!!!!!!!!!
He took that J@B and it almost ended him ! I never thought I would see him play again ! He seems to have made a full recovery from it. Thank God 🙏
👍
Notice the camera angle positioned to not see his Palestinian guitar. Nice rug too.
One of the best concerts I have ever attended. Thank you for posting!
Really enjoying this concert. Definitely didn’t expect to see him 24 hrs afterwards. Thanks so much.
Love Eric Clapton and his band ❤ None is better and they all show up to help pay it forward God bless them all. ❤ Forever Fan ♥
"Father of the year title" to that man in rust coloured pants in the front row who brought his son along! What a treat for the young man. A memory he will cherish his whole life!
1:13:44 one of the best LQOS solos in recent years, he even nods to the band after the song ends that they just captured something great. Everyone's solo in Cocaine was out of this world. Thanks for this great video!
I absolutely completely agree! I have never seen a better concert, he makes the guitar talk! I actually cried during some of the tracks cos my friend was meant to go with me and he died just before Xmas….he would have loved it beyond words!!
So sorry to hear that. RIP.
I'm sorry for your loss.

This man just keeps-a-rollin & tumblin!
No leaping about, just a perfect band with the greatest guitarist ever . Those there were so lucky, thanks for filming this .❤
Genio!!!...tengo 71 años y nunca dejaré de escucharlo.
Lo mismo digo ✨
I watched him live in Liverpool, amazing !
Salute! What a show, wow. I'm watching for Daddy Doyle...he'd be so f###ing proud.

The first song is tribute to Mr Jeff Beck !!
I love it .
Enormous lovely !
Fantastic 🙌🙌🙌. I have always liked Eric Clapton and he just keeps getting better. He sings with such deep feelings ❤🎉❤
Amazing concert. Thank you for posting. Loved the music and the colours on the guitar too. Thanks EC, band, roadies and all tgat made it happen and for posting it as well.
Amazing show, tell how you could have front seats and spend the evening watching Clapton on a bloody phone, nutters 😮 excellent band and Eric is God
Thank you the upload. Much love from Cambodia and long live Eric. (Free Palestine)
Oh my. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great artist. Great colors on his guitar. A good man.

Abe Union pride came all the way from Florida with my son Derek to the Dublin and Manchester then London to see Mr Eric Clapton the greatest guitar 🎸 player been following him since the yardbirds the best
Just moving out of the first performance on Paris tonight.
Wow !
Same comments as below: inspiring, an amazing band, with top notch at each seed, and a sound more than incredible: the mix is so good that you can hear any instrument at any time of any song. No muddy effect. Just music !
🙏 Bless this man to his soul 🫂❤️❤️. Thank you eric my friend 🌹
Seems we'll have Eric for some time.. looking great!!!
Let's hope he'll be around for many years to come! I'd love to see him just once! These people just don't know how lucky they are!
Saw the show on the 24th. Played better than when I saw him in 2017. Excellent show.
Terrific to see! 🙏👍
this is best i seen him play in years great
Clapton for ever the best
Rocking the stage and their soul with his 🍉 guitar✨
A great musician. A pleasure to look at while performing.
I just came here to see how he’s performing live! I’ll be in Lucca Festival, wow!!!! Can’t wait 💪🏻
best ever guitar player! I´ve been whatching his show in Brazil/SP once time! Incredible!
in the sixties, it was the case. It is really no longer the case since 1970.
Wow, thanks excellent!
The best live musical experience in my life. Second to none. There’s a bit of God in him. Moves adults to tears like babies. Only thing that comes close to this level of presence might be Keith Jarrett.
I had a similar feeling every time I saw Mark Knopfler live. Also David Gilmour, Pat Metheny and Chick Corea. Another, cosmic level of music art
To much Gaza. Keep politics out of music. Yes I saw him last Monday in Birmingham and his music was brill.
@@daviddean5058lol. Have you been missing for the past 60-70 years. So much of folk, rock n roll , blues etc is drenched in politics , whether social commentary , party politics, war etc … 🤦♀️.

😊Shame you never saw Ray Charles then. Eric’s good though.
Always loved and still love Clapton. Saw the Cream farewell tour in LA when I was 14. Great concert here! As comical side note - as a white person, I feel a little embarrassed that we as a group can sit so stone-faced and frozen - that hardly anyone in the audience can do more than barely tap their feet in response, to such great music. We are wired so tight... yeah yeah okay, a bit of polite applause at the end of each song.... sitting there like a bunch of intellectual robots absorbing the show...can't show much feeling.. there are like two people clapping in time we can see sometimes? we are weird.

Doyle and Eric, EPIC!!
Saw him in Manchester last week, he was sublime, real hair stand on end stuff, a true god like legend…. Just watched an interview he did after one of the Albert Hall concerts, and I find his point of view regarding phones in gigs spot on…
One of the best
Great job, thank you. Greetings from the box 😉
One of the best recordings thank you
Amazing!
I’ve seen him twice and was so thrilled with his soulful and blistering performance. He is a legend, a treasure, and one of last living iconic guitarists to come out of perhaps, the greatest era of music ever.

Going tonight, 21st May. Cant wait.
Wonderful Eric Clapton! Immense artist and true man, not like Bono
This extreme side view is doubly nostalgic for me as I got to see him from exactly this side last year. Not this close, and certainly not in a venue as perfect as the Albert Hall. But I have to say thank you, thank you for capturing this in glorious 4K. This looks damn good on my laptop, and I can't wait until I get to stream it on a 4k TV and see it in all its beauty.
You're doin' the Lord's work, my friend, preserving live music at this quality. I discovered Clapton when I was 10 years old, in a community hall record swap that smelled like vinyl and dust and old people's basements. This was the period when you'd pay $40 for a grainy copy-of-a-copy of a concert on VHS, which you'd watch maybe 6 times through tracking errors before it fell apart on you. And here we are today, with video so crisp and clear that when you zoom in in 4K, I can actually make out the individual pedals on Doyle's pedalboard behind Clapton's head: there is no better commercial for today's ampless modeling technology than seeing that when you're tapped to play the Royal Albert Hall alongside Eric F'ing Clapton, you can get away with the Strymon Iridium on the corner of your board as the replacement for that whole stack of Marshalls you once had to lug around.
This is archival-quality., and to me it captures the concert experience better than a fully produced concert video. Thank you for sharing this.
Fabuloso concierto!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will sit down to listen to this, having heard the previous gig it's solid to get to hear this year's line-up play their hearts out like this!
Signed,
J.
forever Eric Clapton
