Tremendous musical remembrance of Jeff Beck. The guitarist who took the instrument to the nth degree with just it and his talent. What hands and brains. Hope to meet you in the new system, Jeff.
I began to love music in 1962. I am now 73 years young. This tribute sucks me back more deeply than ever. Thanks Eric. I've seen you in person, thought that was awesome. This organized lovefest for Jeff surpasses any/ all so far. You are a genius Clapton 👏.
Still hope one day to see Da Man in concert. #1 on bucket list. I saw Jeff years ago. I was overwhelmed. Almost 3 hours with my jaw dropped to the floor. No dancing, hollering, bic lighter flaring. Us folks of wisdom,as my granny used to say,and she boogied till 93,are fortunate to have witnessed the world of music explode and expand. Im only 64 so i hope to see another explosion before I rest.
My wife and I have seen Eric three times live and each concert was a different format. Incredible. Do whatever you can to see him why the living legend is on this earth. Whatever it cost you just go do it.
I once called Jeff Beck in phone thinking he was my friend Jeff from Venice Beach in 76! We talked for half an hour and he was soo nice! Everything about my Jeff was true for him too! His parents had rented him a house in Venice Beach and he had turned the garage into a recording studio. He had every Jimmie Hendrix album ever made, etc. The only thing was he had no black lab named Moonshadow!
Great. One of the BEST and with Jeff and Georg one of the best. It's a shame that more and more old musicians are leaving, it was a great time, especially the seventies to nineties. In the tribute, the best guitarists who are still alive. Great video, thank you. Greetings from Frankfurt
Still can’t believe The Guv’nor’s gone … What a legacy he’s left - ‘Genius’ is sometimes overused but not in Jeff Beck’s case. Innovative, inspirational, incomparable.
❤ i have listened and watched so many times what a beautiful tribute to Jeff. Wish I could hear Blue Rainbow live in person although I would cry like a baby ..... ❤Forever Fan ❤
Thank Rod now we know what a 75 year old Elvis Presley would look like. Love you thank you Eric beautiful concert Rest in peace Jeff will be missed!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Me encanta. Lo vere en Velez Sarfield en septiembre.... Que homenaje...
any Beck fan should know the greatest performances of his career was with Tal Vinnie and Rebello. Ronnie Scotts then Crossroads. World talents literally having a blast! JB put together the super band thanks in no small part and giving a younger woman a chance and it paid off in Spades! If you have not I highly recommend
Somehow Trucks manages to emotionally make Bolero just so respectful almost somber. When he does it with TTB it's like a parade of life's joy. good gawd the man is just just just
Thank you for this and for all that your project aims to do - I was lucky enough to finally see EC in concert last fall and he is still simply amazing.
This was a great tribute to Jeff! Just wondering. The woman in the red dress, her name, and the name of the song she sang? I’ve heard the song years ago and can’t place it.
I recognized Nathan long before I could tell -"That IS Clapton! My gosh. I guess it threw me off seeing Clapton doing 'Shapes' (for the first time in a Lifetime-?). Wow! I don't recognize the Left-handed Guitarist but he looks familiar (T.Petty's?). Unbelievable. Jimmy Page & Buddy Guy - Buddy I can understand he's 87 & WILL be 88 (7-30-24), working too hard & playing every night OR Day, often leapfrogging passed a City then back as the schedule allows it. Last August 4th & 6th were the first times I wasn't jolted up from my seat by his Flash & Fire (& it's fine just slower tempo numbers & sing along sections); HE'S 87!! John McLaughlin looks like he has Living Well down to a fine art. I'm surprised I've never seen him in Performance yet; I'll have to look into that. It's probably MY fault, right? Is that a PRS? He clearly has Living down to a Few Fine points. Healthy looking Gent. I think it's in who you surround yourself with, hmm? I don't know what Page's deal is but unless he's an Android - he must've been deeply hurt by the News. I don't think he was at Bonzo's either & that was at a property rented in JP's/LZ's name I think. I know he was saddened by those losses- more than Bonzo's possibly as they came up together from Epson w/Eric. He's been at a 'Rumble' R & R Hall thing re Link around the time of Beck's loss. The best part of A.R.M.S. Shows were always BECK's Sets by consensus. At 15 I bought my 1st 'Collectible' Lp- Having A Rave Up' (& after a B+ on Led Zeppelin for my English Lit term paper; the teacher -Duane- gave me a Good copy of the Y'birds' 'Greatest Hits' on Epic (±78?) ! Buddy Guy, Jorma Kaukonen, Page, Hendrix, SRV, Clapton & Neil Young (& Daniel Lanois) will be the End of the 'Rock' in the 'Roll' & btw- Bobby Tench: 'Rough & Ready', Van Morrison, et al Died at 79 on 2-19-24✓. [RIP JEFF BECK 🎼] 🐄⚡💨🎶
The left-handed guy some are wondering about is Doyle Bramhall II. His dad drummed with lots of old-school players, including Freddy King, which is probably where the family connected with Clapton. Dad also played with Jimmie Vaughan, and wrote songs that SRV hit with during the 80s. Doyle II has appeared at Clapton's festivals before, and he always seems to get the same questions about who the heck he is. I expect he's known Clapton since he was a child, and his playing shows it. Check out his band Arc Angels, (SRV's Double Trouble minus Reese, and Charlie Sexton).
A magical show initiated by the beautiful Mr. Slow Hand !However ,in recent Years I see an appearance in concerts among great musicians of a parrot, who has no place there, maybe only if he pays for his appearances, Johnny Deep ! I also have a friend who is a car mechanic, he lays tiles, digs holes, but also repairs PCs ! Some people are looking for him to beat him because he destroyed a laptop and others because their tile fell !😎
It is a tribute nobody can do what Jeff beck could do but they are all old but paying respect some of these guys won't be much enjoy the concert rip jeff

I just entered 73 on 7-27.

Eric, what a wonderful gift for the remembrance of a truly remarkable guy who played unique guitar for himself and the world.
Thank you.
One of the best tributes ever-long live Eric!
Gives me chills! Such amazing guitar work in tribute to a master guitarist.
Dude playing ES 335 right hand guitar like Jimi!
Holy Smoke! That is some good stuff!
Truly Derek Trucks is on another planet musically! Thanks for the video, so much better than other cellphone videos.
DT honored the soul and inspiration that JB gave us all
Mrs Trucks is also tremendous !!
How come Derek looks like Greg Allman?🤔
Excelente!!
I love you Eric forever❤

I’m so glad for this. I knew it was being filmed but Eric said it was ‘for the record’.
I went to this tribute concert. I’m so glad for this record ❤🎶
The tributes which Eric arranged for Harrison, Ginger and now Beck are legendary into music history....
May they rest in peace
Jack needs one.
Nobody else could do them the justice they deserved but a Huckleberry Friend.❤ this is such raw emotions.😢
I was fortunate enough to have been there. What a great video to look back on and enjoy all over again - thank you very much
Still can’t believe The Guv’nor’s gone … What a legacy he’s left - ‘Genius’ is sometimes overused but not in Jeff Beck’s case. Innovative, inspirational, incomparable.
I'm so grateful that he is so good, thank you Mr. Clapton

@@jgnetwork2786 It definitely was! :)
Wow! That little snippet of Gary Clark Jr. singing harmony with Rod is probably worth the price of admission!!! 😀

He surely is.
A few oters as well!

ERIC IS STILL HERE AMEN.
Super!!!
My gosh! Viewd so many times. Age just popped. We were young once with no wisdom.
Such a shame. The world could've used another good pilot, or doctor, but no....Eric chose this path.
THANK GOD!
I was there. Wonderful warmth on that night. ❤
Ah.. jealousy another sin on me list

I wonder why Tal Wickenfeld wasn’t at the tribute concerts. She was such a major part of Jeff’s band in recent years.
Yes. Or Jan Hammer, or Vinnie Colaiuta.
She was- she played with John Mclaughlin
@@robbyron769 oh okay 👌. Thanks for the info 👍
To difficult to deal with unfortunately!!!
She played- see commeny above!

Beautiful tribute. Difficult for Jeff’s little bro Johnny. I can really see the emotion.😢❤️

"The best of the bests... Derek Truck". From Clapton this is a consecration 😁
Wow Imelda love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
💥🕺💃💥 🖤❤🖤
Doyle Bramhall II seriously underrated. He's like Ginger Rogers dancing backwards with heels with Fred Astaire
comunque eric forever

Where is Jimmy Page? So sad some of the greats are not there.

Can this video be purchased?
Johnny Depp & Billy Gibbons ! 💥❤🔥
Such a shame of the bad audio quality. Deserves much better.
RIP...
McLaughlin is amazing as usual
So is this out on c d
Where were Rosie Bones, Carmen Vandenberg, Jan Hammer and Jimmie Hall? They were so much part of his legacy, they should have part of this.
This is great. Is there a day 1 of this tribute?
Yes, the 22nd
Yes its on You tube ❤
It is a tribute nobody can do what Jeff beck could do but they are all old but paying respect some of these guys won't be much enjoy the concert rip jeff
Page's absence is noted. end of an era indeed.
Who is this drummer, and at what age?
Anika Nilles is ridiculous! Holy shi+!
No Bonamassa with McLaughlin?
Holy cow, that IS Johnny Depp! I didn't recognize him the last time I saw this. That's unsettling. What a marriage/divorce can do to you!‽ Wow.
I’m thoroughly enjoying the music, but the camera work is making me seasick. Man!
Who's the lefty guitarist?
It's Doyle Bramhall II. He's been with Eric off and on for many years. Tour with people like Roger Waters etc.
What a shame Jimmy Page couldn't play at this event.
Imelda and Joss Stone are fantastic but Bet Hart is a Goddess! Why she is not here?
No Tal? Nobody would know who she is if it wasn't for the master Jeff who was always looking.to promote young talant.
Anyone know why Jimmy Page wasn't at this event?
Great content bad audio.
