✰ Where are you from? I'm originally from England but moved to Adelaide, Australia when I was 9 years old. I also spent 2 years living in Toronto when I finished high school which is why the accent is a bit all over the place 😅

In your last reset video, you mentioned you have a separate budget for your house-related stuff and I did actually watch that video as well as the vlog where you explained your home budget, I was wondering that once your house is fully complete, if you are going to a video on how much you spent on your house in the end, like you did with your wedding.

Loving it! I have to say a 1k drop in monthly bills, basically halving your monthly bills, I don't think you got excited enough lol ;) That's amazingly awesome and going to allow you a little more comfort with the building principle being added. Seriously never been so excited about someone else's financial potential lol I think it's because you're so much younger than me and it can make such a huge compound difference in your life because you've started being so conscious already :) so happy for you both

An offset account will be your new best friend! Reducing interest payments is really worth it.
I’ve made it my priority to offset my mortgage since I bought my land 5 yrs ago, working 50hrs a week with no time off and I’ve finally reached 100% offset so no more interest payments (yay!)
Now I can finally slow down to 43hrs a week and go on a holiday.
The hustle was hard but it’s been worth it.

Congrats on the new house, it looks beautiful. I purchased the same budget template you use after seeing it in one of your videos early in the year. I am absolutely loving it! How do you track your spending from your savings (eg. emergency fund, car, travel etc)? Do you use a negative value in the tracking section? Just curious to know what you do. Keep up the great work and enjoy your new house.

I'm just curious why you don't mention taxes in your budgeting videos. Your paychecks from your jobs are net i assume, but TH-cam is gross or not? Don't you have to pay taxes in Australia? If yes, I'm jealous 😂

@@smileycitrus even the thought of budgeting scares me. The zero thing is Dave Ramsey but MAN! Having to type out or work out groceries freaks me out. To clarify we only have a mortgage, don’t eat out or buy coffee etc but we do have a lot of kids.
