Aside from the mouth watering foods to try, what’s really amazing is the friendliness of people you met in the food market. That seems to be the common theme every place you go in the Philippines. The hospitality of Filipino people which makes your journey so much better Mergim.

Just a bit of trivia Mergim :)
When you hear locals say 'nosebleed', that means they are having a hard time speaking or conversing in English. It's a pinoy humour when confronted with native english speakers. Most pinoys can understand and speak in English but only a few can be conversational. So if someone is having a hard time and they want to make a joke of it, they'll say nosebleed lolz

In Philippines, you dont eat, you "it" lol, that is the way they pronounce it with that Filipino accent, but on a side note, WOW, I never cease to be amazed by Filipino hospitality. I can recall multiple times that I was treated with so much love there, even amongst people that either didnt know me, or barely knew me, but one time that comes to mind, is I went out to the theater with my shipmate, that was a female, she was part Filipino, and she invited her friend. Her friend was ofcourse a Filipina, and we went to watch some bs movie at Harbor Point Mall in SBMA Subic Bay, Philippines, I think the movie was, "Jeepers Creepers 3" this was back in 2017 or 18 if I recall correctly. After the movie, we all went to the KTV bar restaurant in the 2nd floor of the mall, and that was all I saw of her for a while.
So some time later, I was in the bar that sits right on the pier (Alava Pier) there in SBMA, to this day, out of every single port I went to, even SIngapore, that Alava Pier was the most convenient access to a town that I have ever seen of like just stepping off the ship and being right there in the action in SBMA. But a couple of times, I went into the bar called, "Liberty Sports Bar and Grill" which was always so fun, I have alot of friends that worked there (the good ole days before the events of the past 28 months), but I ran into her a few times, we exchanged FB messenger accounts, it was nothing big like dating or anything, just friendly stuff, she was the initiator of all the talks for the most part, cause I'm admittedly kinda shy around kinda older, mature, beautiful women like that, but one night in particular, was a night that I would never forget.
So this one night, she randomly just invited me out to go drink with her, and her friends and family, far away, like Subic CIty. I had my reservations about going, being that I didnt know her very well at all, or her friends, but they seemed pretty nice. They were so cool, and talkative, they didnt want me to pay for anything, they rode me in their car, but boy I will say, that was a long drive, far away from all the tourist area, it was raining pretty hard that night, that was a REAL rain season right there in Philippines, you literally couldnt see the road at all in some places. So we got there, they had tons of bottles of Jack Daniels, and food inside, they were talking with me the whole time, it was alot of people there, they invited me inside, allowed me to lounge, and sleep on the couch til the time it was time to go, and when it was time to go, they made sure I got back to where I needed to be, safely; though the streets were completely flooded. I say this for 1 - noting the hospitality, the nearly blind hospitality of Filipinos, it is unsurpassed in my book, and 2 - this is for those claiming, "Philippines is dangerous, or not safe" lol, I was a total BLACK foreigner, venturing into the unknown with people I dont know, far outside of even the tourist area, in Subic Bay, and nothing happened to me, I was treated like family; Philippines is always no.1 in my heart, yes over my own country even.

It is crazy how many people invited you to have a taste of the food they were having. As a Filipino, I have never séen such hospitality. I guess if Filipinos invite strangers to their homes during a fiesta, then such a festive atmosphere creates the occasion!

Mr.Mergrim for your efforts to take a vlogs all over the cityof BGC? It's a nice place at least we see the place away from the countries . I APPRECIATED THAT. FOR YOUR TIME.

Tuslob Buwa is a dish originated and only found in Cebu. Tuslob Buwa - Tuslob means to dip while buwa means bubble. It means to dip in the bubble because it was like boiling.
