I so enjoyed this video. I went to Grad School in Montpelier VT. Loved living up there. This is the kind of life I wanted to live back in the 60s. Never met a man who was interested or adventurous. Thanks so much for filming this couple. What a delight they are!!! God Bless!!!
I would love to live like this. My husband? No so much. Easier way to make a living he says. Grocery store for groceries. Poor fella don't have a clue about that.

This is how real people have lived for eons and it wasn’t fancified as ‘sustainable.’ It was just their normal, natural, organic way of living with nature. It wasn’t touted nor celebrated as the 2nd coming. It just was. I grew up like that. My gawd!

Wow. You two are awesome! This is a difficult life to pursue and you both seem perfectly suited for it. Totally admire you! We tried doing this back in 1972, but decided it was too much work for us and left the country. We’ve never regretted our decision. As Harry Callahan said, you’ve got to know your limitations and we had plenty of those! 😂😂
