Most kids spend more time outside, with friends, online than strictly with their parents, giving more time to adopt foreign ( not from the family) values. In addition, there is a saying, you can lead a horse to the water but not force it to drink. Kids ultimately choose the lessons they want to learn or how to interpret the lessons being taught. If you try your best to teach a child to be disciplined and responsible, for example, the kids could interpret that as you being a strict/rigid parent rather than pay more attention to what is being taught. This doesn’t mean I don’t think making the effort to raise a child well is worth it, but like every investment there is a chance it may fail and the fault does not always lie with the parent.

Here's the reason the astrology sign thing pisses us off so much: We actually don't mind women with high standards for men, in fact a lot of men actually kinda respect it. It encourages us to focus on becoming the best version of ourselves before we settle down, and reassures us that when we do settle down we're doing it with a woman that has integrity. But there's a catch about the 'high' standards, they need to be things we can actually change and they need to be things that actually matter. Star signs are neither of those things.

Well for one thats part of Asian culture, if your in a profession that needs a shit tonne of studying to get into like a doctor, engineer or lawyer your immediately given higher status in Asian countries. My uncles a doctor, when his pulled over by the Police in Lanka all he has to do is say his a doctor and they let him go regardless of if he broke the law or not. Second I think its even more reinforced in Asian immigrants cause they either were fleeing war or bad economies (my family) or were just excelling in there field and thus had alot of demand in developed countries. I’m the same, but I don’t think it’s always that simple. I’ve dated to marry since I was 16. My 4 year relationship ending at 21, im now 23, and just to emotionally tired and drained. I would say that it makes a lot of sense to want to date someone more based on what they like to do and if their lifestyle is compatible with you. I know a couple who very spontaneously travels together, couples who like to sport together and be adventurous, while still committed. Here's the reason the astrology sign thing pisses us off so much: We actually don't mind women with high standards for men, in fact a lot of men actually kinda respect it. It encourages us to focus on becoming the best version of ourselves before we settle down, and reassures us that when we do settle down we're doing it with a woman that has integrity. But there's a catch about the 'high' standards, they need to be things we can actually change and they need to be things that actually matter. Star signs are neither of those things.
Actually for me I don't respect it. Woman with high standards actually make me wanna give them a poor shame looks. Sure it nice to have ideals but don't make that a must for any guys you wanna date. I don't really see the appeal of partying to be honest. In theory it's a way to meet new people or build confidence, but the clubs I have gone to have loud annoying music, and it's a hit or miss with who you meet. I would say that it makes a lot of sense to want to date someone more based on what they like to do and if their lifestyle is compatible with you.
