The maverick turbo is coming from behind and honestly looks more appealing than the hybrid! I’m going to hold off on ordering one for a few years now to see what aftermarket parts are reliable. Definitely saw the aftermath of early adopters from the BRZ
The eco boost is not a new engine at all, lots of ppl making huge power with eco boost mustangs, focus, fiesta, and more. No needs to worry about engine reliability.
Don’t know why you would, you are reducing the restriction, making it easier for the engine to breathe. Like going from high to a lower altitude your motor will have more power but not need a tune unless you are running a carb.
By placing this on your truck while under warranty the company has said they will not cover it or anything it touchs so what kind of warranty do you guys provide?
I wanted to hear the start up and rev with the intake on
You won't hear much, its a sealed unit. They used my Maverick for the r&d but you'll definitely feel the difference! Good stuff!
What does it sound like?

@@MUSCLECREWDave I thought it was a new engine. Good to know! Thanks!
Excelent video thanks!
Does the plastic still smell like celery? lol Great video, always loved the fit and finish of the AFE intake
No celery scents were smelled during the filming of this video 😂
Nice!
Where to buy?
Right here! www.pandamotorworks.com/products/afe-momentum-gt-cold-air-intake-system?_pos=1&_sid=663b2db77&_ss=r
Would this also fit on the 2023/2024 Edge 2.0L?
Wish you cared about the Hybrid. Still waiting for you to put a Fog light kit together for the Mavericks I asked you about almost Two years ago 🤔⁉️
Diode Dynamics has that for you. Not cheap but it's very OEM looking
Assuming this requires a tune after install ? o.O
Nope!
@@PandaMotorworks Wow seriously ? I'm used to my WRXs etc always needing a tune after a full intake setup :O.

All of that fancy intake and it doesn't even replace the most restrictive part of the intake....
Bull crap the intake is not the limiting factor on the maverick 2.0 Ecoboost.
1 horsepower increase....thats why they didnt show the dyno or ANYTHING.

thats pretty impressive gains...thanks for the link@@PandaMotorworks
Caution.....the 8 speed tranny is not able to handle much more power. 16hp may be ok....but NO MORE!
nah its vastly underrated, guy has been running 12's with 320 hp well over a year now drag strip run after run still going strong
how about one for the hybrid??????
