Cleveland Way - the Director's Cut

Join me as I walk The Cleveland Way - 109 miles of amazing moorland, stunning views, and glorious coastal paths. One of the most enjoyable long-distance trails I’ve walked, but wow, was it hot!!
I used my Lanshan 1 tent.

Well done , it also forms part of the Hard moors race ultra running race series the Hardmoors 110 with a 36hour time limit to do it in ! with an Ascent:16,500ft/5000 m this years winner did it in 20:55:58 hrs, record time stands at 19:23:13 .

Lovely trail with great hills and views. What time of year was this pls?
How do you find the Lanshan 1 as compared to the Lanshan 2 - besides the obvs weight and size difference?

This was in June. It was a good time of year for it; I could go more lightweight than usual and hence used the Lanshan 1, with a 3 season inner. It was absolutely fine, and definitely out performed the Copper Spur, especially in the windy night outside Staithes. I would use it again.

11:30 so much wind and flat water and there is no windsurfer? 😢
