Megatron has no favourites, except those who never fail him such as Soundwave and Shockwave.
Megatron felt respectful and sad for Trypticon while giving that order.
He just wants to desperately win the war and as such, he blocks his link with emphaty, despite being some in there.

I had a feeling that Trypticon was afraid of losing much like Omega Supreme. As in, Omega Supreme thought he was the last hope of Autobots and fought to the bitter end to make sure he prevail (No one knew Metroplex existed at this time, so Omega Supreme was the last line of defense). Trypticon was fighting for himself, he knew Megatron will not forgive him if he failed and it was true. Megatron condemned him to a terrifying fate, I imagine Trypticon felt cramped and was fully aware of everything as Nemesis but couldn't do anything. Makes sense that in TFP, he wanted to find all the artifacts in hopes that it will allow him to return to his true form.
I think it would be possible if he got that original piece or organ that allows transformers to change forms or something like the forge of Solus Prime would allow to fix him or just omega lock would be able to do it but yeah his way of thinking was good if that artefacts can't fix him nothing can
@@gwynbleidd-zy4wx The T-Cog (Transformation Cog) is what you refer to. It can be repaired so long as he’s not transformed. But since he was forcefully transformed it can no longer be repaired. Only possible way he can be restored is if they used the Omega Lock to repair him.

While you can feel sympathy for Trypticon seriously that evil laugh he does is terrifying.
Imagine playing this for the first time without having any prior knowledge of transformers and seeing the reveal of trypticon’s beast form as you fly past his teeth and out of his mouth

When I had first played it I did have knowledge of transformers since my dad was a G1 fan but the thing was he really never told me about titans so when I first saw trypticon and showed him to my dad his immediate reaction was “Oh shit it’s trypticon good luck boy” he then walked out of the room as I was freaking out on how to beat him (keep in mind was about 4 years old)
I did not know who Trypticon was when I played this game. I'm pretty sure my eyes actually bugged out when I saw him transform.😂😅
And years later, Trypticon would get payback in Transformers prime if the aligned continuity is to be believed
Sad that 2015 RID destroyed that continuity
@@amirulatif6270 actually the bay movies did. Grimlock and Sideswipe were supposed to be different characters in that show. But because of the "success" of age of extinction, Hasbro pressured the animation division make Grimlock a supporting character in 2015 RID

Activision thought it would be a great idea into merging the two universes in the most reviled transformers game In history that sighted the end of high moon studios transformers games: rise of the dark spark. And because hasbro was playing catch up to the movies, we got a different grimlock than seen in fall of cybertron

Not only is this a good game to watch, the player played the game very well too. Unlike some other gameplay which the players just seem lost and confused on what to do. Great Job!!!
Poor Trypticon.... but he was also already a prisoner. He was disassembled and locked away by the Bots.

Its rather ironic though that the decepticons end up killing off their greatest weapon and ally simply to turn him permanently into a stagnant cannon... I knew the decepticons weren't very bright but this is on a whole other level of pure stupidity.
I’ve heard the “you thought you could destroy trypticon??” line 1000 times because it plays every time you die lol
Herein sort of lies the hypocrisy of Megatron. He’ll admonish Trypticon for failing to destroy “The Autobots”, which he himself does all the time. And even though this super powerful being (that could easily turn him into Megatron compact trash pile) served him unquestioningly and loyally, Megatron in his pride stomps all over Trypticon’s pride for eternity.
Transformers Prime makes a clear, even hamfisted point of this, where Megatron is killed and Unicron takes control of his body. Megatron thinks they should share in their rule , but Unicron in response instead tortures his consciousness trapped inside his own body. When freed and given control of his body back he immediately declares the decepticon movement dead and exiles himself because having experienced true oppression for just a few days he gives it all up because he can’t stomach inflicting it on anyone else after what he’s been through. But that’s Megatron for you, he’s a bully. He operates on the logic of power above all else and that he can do whatever he wants to those “beneath” him, not realizing the hypocrisy that all it takes is for someone more powerful than him to come along and treat him just alike for his entire worldview to crumble. Unluckily for him, he was early on turned into one of the baddest mofos in the universe and so it took a literal evil god to bully him into self awareness.
And yet it makes sense for someone of his background, born into the lower caste as a miner with no name, he rises to power and might in the gladiator arena letting the adulation get to his head and boost his ego (his rags to riches experience making him think no one has an excuse to be weak) and then he’s denied leadership and upstaged by the far weaker (yet obviously more noble) Orion Pax, dealing a massive blow to his pride that he can only heal by taking absolute leadership by force.
Megatron, absolute scumbag though. Despicable villain.
Tbh Megatron may not the best to come up with great ideas, we all know he grew worked labor and had it rough in cybertron, we also know he became a gladiator in the arena to get by to make a name for himself which did get attention from Orion pax before he became Optimus prime.
In transformers prime we know both Megatron and Orion were friends and discussed alot. Megatron says he wants what's best for the other workers that get destroyed working while the rich sit cozy. Orion ofc doesn't know what it was like where Megatron came from which honestly Megatron should've taken him there to actually show Orion what it's like working in the slums where half the cybertronians worked and get destroyed when accidents happen. If Megatron showed Orion that then it probably would've given Orion Megatron's pov on how badly the workers were treated.
So in other words even if Megatron became a prime or not he would've given Orion time to given thought how things should've been. Ofc Megatron had to became to prideful and can't accept his loss. Even though he wanted what's best but his ideas were violent where with Orion I'm sure he would've took Megatron's idea atleast what he learned and try to make it where there wouldn't be no violence.
But regardless in the end Megatron became what he is because he was envy and angry at Orion/Optimus even when Optimus in some accounts wanted to end this war between the two Megatron choices violence. Even when their home world was dying and they went to earth their war still waged on.
A few days of being tortured by unicron is still horrifying. Megatron’s level of oppression absolutely pales in comparison to the oppression that unicron unleashes

I'd says years of being rebuilt and used as a tool unable to do anything about it(after being loyal and making 1 mistake) is much worse than 4 days of being used as a tool.

Yeah, if you ignore the moral problems with what he did, it is a good strategical move (assuming that your so hell bent on killing someone who just wants to leave that you ignore the idea of... Just letting them leave) to reformate Trypticon's alt form into a ship and chase them into the portal

When Megatron spoke to trypticon in fall of cybertron, you could hear Trypticon groaning "noooo..." after Megatron said he failed him

When Soundwave was dueling in the pits of Kaon he was muted

@@unknown-darkness Trypticon could come back in a different continuity. As a sort of Alternate timeline version where instead of Megatron activating the transformation protocol and locking him into a shell of his former self, Megs repaired him, gave him the Nemisis Alternate form, and allowed him to keep his original form. Also if you think about it, Trypticon did come back in that one episode of Transformers: Prine where Megatron infused the Nemesis with Dark Energon. And it would technically be the same Trypticon but a stronger hatred for the Autobots for what they did to him.
So wait. He goes from being big enough to fly around in and out of (his mouth) like a proper Titan the size of Metroplex, to a robot the size of Omega Supreme once he's planetside?

Funact: Metroplex is said to be around 800m tall. Given that Trypticon is is usually slightly bigger or at least the same size, he would be close to 3,000ft in height

My first playthrough of WFC, I somehow glitches and fell further down to the bottom of the chasm that tripticon finally falls through when defeated, but I glitches down there before the boss fight was done so I had to just wait for the other autobots to finish him off while I explore this almost unrendered area at the bottom of existence

Me too dude. This version is just so much more intimidating and menacing whereas the G1 just looks like Grimlock’s impaired, clunkier older brother

It will be after Megatron’s modification program that he had. I think he’d already prepared for the that moment. Whether he could transform or not, Megaton was ready. I think Trypticon kind of knew something like this was going to happen.
The opertial cannon is offline but has revealed its true form to be none of than a savage monster named tryptcon it aaces to the planet's surface like a metor hungry to enact revenge on the autobots

Jetfire is still alive as he appears a couple of times years later in Fall of Cybertron. As for Silverbolt and Air raid, while we don't see them again it is believed they survived as well.

Jetfire actually survived, you play as him in the final chapter for a minute. And silver bolt lived as well. You see him in the second chapter in the auto bot base. Air raid by what I can tell might have actually died.
