- Analysis and technical review about the new Heckler & Koch M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (SDMR), which started to enter in service with United States Army. In April 2016 Heckler & Koch confirmed that a lighter version of the G28 (HK417) had won the U.S. Army's Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System contract to replace the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System under the name of M110A1.

So HK worked together with all the established AR15 aftermarket gadget suppliers to get a military contract? Good to see that they recognize what's going on in the shooting community and bring improvements to the troops.
Great to have this content to watch. We're stuck inside our homes and the boredom is unbearable if not for channels like this.
Thanks guys.
Thanks to following us. Next week we will start Webinar. Alain CEO Army Recognition Group
pro tip : you can watch series on kaldroStream. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Hayden Albert yup, been using kaldroStream for years myself :)
Who else thinks it looks absolutely fuckin wicked ? Like damn
This is the CSASS version, the original sniper rifle, not the SDMR . SDMR is a different version, for use at squad level. It has different barrel, stock and scope.
is that the same barrel as the mr762?
So H&K is moving away from proprietary hardware for their riffles?
No, they just did it per the US army’s request.
I guess if I want some of the best, I'm going to have to pay.
Typically how it goes. Nothing new there lol
Work of art
Now just make the upper for the MR762A1 community.
What will happen to the M110A1 DMR once NGSW 6.8 weapons will be fielded? Will the XM5/7 Replace the m110a1 at squad level or make the DMR obsolete??????
Like most products these days, it's just a collection of components made by different companies.
So?
SO... Where can i pick 1 up or G28
look for the G28z bit its expansive
Or...I can just put the MK5's we FINALLY got onto my goddamn SASS M110.
Everything was Emma dexterous except for the cheek piece
You forgot the quick release or lock out bump stock. With that add this is the perfect system.
now thats a sexy looking rifle, germans know what they are doing making a nice looking gun, but looks are one thing, how is it on the range?
so how long this gonna be around?
H&K 👌
What was wrong with the M110?
I think the bolt carrier was sand sensitive and would get hung up when dirty. I would've thought Knights would get that worked out instead of losing the contract though but they didn't apparently.
I don't care about that politics and world war 3. I care about that peace and warship super advanced

This guy is the director of government sales? Seems like an oxymoron since I GUARANTEE they dont have a director of civilian sales! :)
If they would have issued this rifle in this configuration, it would be a good rifle, but what they issued is hot garbage in comparison.
