thanks you explain everything so well
Glad I could help!
i like it for outdoor shots because you’re less prone to wasting film. i mean i could’ve gotten an instax printer but where’s the fun in that? i like the ugly digital cam quality and some filters it comes with. although, i just miss the analog experience when taking shots indoors which feels more cozy
Totally. That’s why I still have an actual Polaroid camera. I think it’s cool to have two different tools
Put a decent size sensor and make a bigger version that takes instax wide and im in.
That’s the dream right there
I just want to know if the quality of print of this camera is better than the mini link 2.
I have only found one single youtube video among thousands that shows that the colors look more vibrant for some reason when printing from the mini evo. Even when they both use the same film.
I want to know if paying double the prize for this mini evo is worth it considering the colors look better. I'm so amazed by how no one no where talks about this. No forum, no post, no webpage, no where. Only that single youtube video i found that showed the comparison side by side but i want to see a second comparison to confirm.
Interesting, I’ve never used the mini link 2, but one thing I can say about the mini Evo is that it has 2 print modes. It has ‘natural’ and ‘Rich’ and the rich mode is incredibly more vibrant than the ‘natural’ mode.
If the mini link 2 does not have both modes, that could be the difference?
The mini evo has a better quality of the pictures I think but it’s probably just a small difference and it depends what you are going to use it for
@@Nichiltonphotography Apparently the mini link 2 also has that rich mode, but in this one video on youtube of an asian mom that tested lots of portable printers the mini evo gave the best colors of them all. Even when both had the same rich mode.
I just placed an order for the mini evo even when is double the price of the mini link just because it might give the best color quality and i need that for a project.
Also, another bit of important info i found out in my research is that the photos printed from the memory of the mini evo were at higher respultion compared to the ones printed from a phone connected remotely to the mini evo. So the best results would come out when passing the photos to be printed to the memory inside the camera, never sending them from a phone for higher resolution, crispier photos.
@@StellyStarr I need it for an art project but my photos are very colorful so i ended up buying the mini evo even when it was double the price than the mini link 2 x/
I hope the results are worth it. Even a small difference in color quality is great for me. Im also pñanning on trying to sell instax photos to people at events to get my money back from this purchase xP
Is this video edited in 2x3 format. Really cool stylistic choice mate
4x3 actually, thanks!
Cool. I own one. But to be honest, I feel that the quality is a lot better if you take the photo with something else (iPhone or camera) and then print than using the built in camera.
That makes me use the mini evo almost exclusively as a printer which made me wonder if I should have just got the printer.
To me is a printer with a built-in shitty camera that I would only use in an emergency.
I’ve never had the nerve to go out with JUST the mini evo. I always have something else on me. At least my phone
I can agree. 90% of what I print, was taken with my camera or iPhone, edited, and then printed.
First time using it the film cover didn't eject. Now the film cartridge is stuck. I'm very disappointed with this camera.
Dang I’m sorry to hear that, you aren’t able to open it up and remove it at all?
@@Nichiltonphotography I can open the film compartment. Just unable to pull the film package from the camera.
Hi just wanted to ask where did you bought this for $199? 😊
Cause i’m planning to buy one on this😅
Cheers!! 🥂
I got it from Best Buy!
Will this film also work with the new Leica Sofort 2?
I’m not sure. I think Leica has their own film
Actually I just looked, according to BHphoto the Fuji instax mini film will work.
From my experience, opening the door on an instax camera won't expose and ruin the film. It will likely ruin the next photo in the pack, but the light seal is pretty good so the rest should be fine as long as you don't leave it open for long. Still annoying that it may accidentally open, but luckily not a full travesty
Interesting! I still don’t want to test it but good to know haha
I guess either way it’s not ruining ‘already shot’ film like a 35mm cam. So that’s good
But were fun in this? I mean you can just buy a mini printer and take it with a DSLR. For me the polaroid experience is, that you don't know what you get.
Just different tools!
I agree with nic, it's just an experience for casual or beginner level photographers that want a fun way to take photos. He use them in a fun clever way but I think it's just a different kind of step against polaroid for photo users. Both are good buy provide different experiences for different kind of people
That’s the way photography was back before digital . I think it made for better photographers . Tbh
No one uses DSRLs these days 😂
It is brilliant - but do not overuse it - the rollers loosen and you get black prints. I am a pro and have had 3 replaced under warranty now - sorry Fuji - just make a pro version
Oh wow this is interesting! How many prints do you think it took for that to happen?
@@Nichiltonphotography it was more than 10 packs but less than 20 - I now use the printer instead -- no issues with that at all - but it is still a cool looking thing -
@@nelsonclub7722 Which printer is that? Thanks
@@Nichiltonphotographyhow many photos have you gotten out of yours so far?
@@5aulx497I definitely haven’t printed 10 packs yet. It’s pretty new for me
never had the back just open. good try with the video mate. hope you stop putting the lounge music on your videos soon
Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻
