Your video is spot-on other than at the end with torque gun you over torqued the Lugnuts so that when you hit it with the wrench it was already past spec
Awesome!! Thanks TRQ! The outer tie rod end torque specs/method are so elusive for this model! I knew it should be lite because this is an aluminum knuckle. I decided to use 28 ft lbs. WRONG! Now I'm replacing a split knuckle! This time I'll be using the torque and method you have in your video. Please add outer tie rod to your description to save another idiot like me. I didn't watch your video the first time around because it only said "inner". My fault! God bless you!
My car is a 2011 impala, and my husband got to the end where u pull the boot cover off, but when he went to use a tool to listen the time rod, there was another green colored plastic type cover?? Break it off?? Can't find any answers

The video is fantastic but what makes me give a thumbs down is that you didn't give a tool list or say which tool ( example 17mm socket etc ) to use

Thanks for teaching me how to bonk
Ahh jeez... I was hoping it was just a lock ring holding the inner tie rod... don't think I've got enough room to grab and twist 😢
cau u just relace the boot
Pliers arent the best tool for the job. Ever heard of wrenches?
