What a fun format for a book review! Love the cocktail recipe and reasoning. I’m 20% into Leech and feeling a bit bored. I normally love vibey stuff like this. Does the pace pick up or the plot thicken? I’m not sure if I should give up or not.
Thank you! I hope you find some other recipes here as well. It does stay more vibey than action driven, but as the narrator explores more, things do ramp up and start to run off the rails in gothic fashion. Reminiscent of the action levels in CRIMSON PEAK or THE DEATH OF JANE LAWRENCE. I would definitely stick through it. It's one that I wish I could read for the first time again for some of the moments of revelation.
