  • Tai He Quan (literally "Supreme Harmony Fist") is a great form that encompasses characteristics of the Taiji and Liangyi system. The movements are named after the various concepts found with the Daoist culture. There are martial techniques based off of the Taiji body frame and it is a great practice to develop sensitivity and balance.

    Wonderful. I'm still working on Tai He Quan since you did the Facebook sessions some time ago. Great to see this video and get some new aspects to work on.

      It is always great to get people from way back at the beginning. That course is really what started all of this!

    Beautiful execution! I'm working a lot on your TaiHe. It's wonderful! If I can afford it, some videos on martial applications of the form would be a nice step forward!

      I have a lot planned for this year. Right now I am set up for weekly releases, and, if I get more support this year, I hope to make even more.

    Awesome! I wanna learn it, but first can we get some Background on the form? How it was created? etc.

      This form can be traced back to Ming Le Zhenren and it has a lot of the concepts within Daoism incorporated into the movements. My kungfu brother actually has a nice write up on his website about the history. www.okanaganvalleywudang.com/wudang-taihe

    Wow! I'm very happy to see the whole form again. Thank you for uploading it!
    What do you think about moving with horizontal feet on the bagua part and landing on the whole foot instead of the heel?

    • @WudangWay
      @WudangWay  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, I prefer that way! Exactly like Ba Gua stepping. I am doing a variation here because I was shortening my circle because of the ledge. :)

      @@WudangWay hahah, yeah, I was very curious how you gonna fly over the ledge expecting to see the circle.... :)
      By the way, there is a lot of Chi energy and softness/flow in your movements!

    Even though the background music is soft, it has a clear beat. When the movements was not in sync with the beat, the routine was made less enthralling to the viewers. I would have preferred some non-meditative BGM or no BGM at all.

      Noted. Though I am taking from this that there were moments that you were, in fact, enthralled. So, thank you, as well. ;)

    Es una version mas bella y armoniosa que la forma original.
