Okay first off, this is the funniest by far forgetting opening the door brakes the whole train.
Second, I think the Azuma should be the benchmark for testing stopping. Perhaps a huge American Big Boy can stop it.
It could, but the flying scotsman could as well, it’s just when he applied sand, and it still wheel slipped , you can turn off the throttle and brake, so the wheels can start spinning again, then carefully turn them on, they should be more efficient, also Union pacific 4014 “Big boy” doesn’t exist in TSW

I don’t care that it’s a game, but from memory I’m pretty sure in one of Lazer jets 2017-2018 videos, he managed to get 146mph out of Scotsman downhill! And no, it’s not in TSW is in Train Simulator. But it was still very cool seeing Scotsman going 140mph downhill when I was younger!

In reality, if Flying Scotsman got to 200kph her wheels would melt because she doesn't have roller bearings on her wheels to reduce the friction between her chassis, frame and the axles.

Hi Lazer, I saw u in Eastleigh on Saturday, and the Class 801 dose has a couple on the top right of the dash. There are 3 blue buttons. 1st button is rear preparation. The 2nd is front preparation. If u press front preparation, the couple should come out. It has a good animation as well.

You can change your speed from km/h to mph in the settings go to hud & gameplay then go to measurement units and change it to imperial

How did you not notice the cover on the front of the train that had the Knuckle Coupler underneath go into train SIM World 4 to the front of the train an see for your self!

Hey lazer!! I'm new and i was just going to say that thanks to your videos, i was able to find a love i once lost! But i do have a question. Being someone who loves the flying Scotsman almost as much as you, i've noticed that the game allows you to spawn the tender separately. Is there a way to have 2 tenders connected? Because i havent seen one with them in TSW4. Sorry the comment is so long. Anyways, love your videos!!!!

I got a really good idea can you use the class 40 to stop a runaway flying Scotsman.
@ZanderTignor he used the flying Scotsman to try to stop the class 40 not the other way round.

That won't work because the TGV Will do over 320 kmh (200 mph), the only train that will be able to keep up with it/catch it is the ICE 3 m8
You could’ve stopped the Azuma with the full braking method that took “forever”
the 801 was slowing down you just needed to wait longer

The class 801 does have a coupler top right in the front section, its a blue button and it says front preparation and its next to the couple button, I also love your videos your amazing, best youtuber in the world

You just have to do it slowly and you can't apply the brakes immediately where's the train will not stop and if you don't touch the throttle or anything eventually it'll come to a halt and you will stop the Zoomer

Because the door applies the brakes because the developers didn’t like it so they had to do that and when u open the door it applies the brakes automatically so that’s why and it’s not stupid

I hate to break it to you, lazer, but the door activating the brakes is a safety precaution. On some trains, without this feature, someone could open that door when the train is moving and get seriously injured or worse because the train is still moving, so dont say that its stupid or dumb when it isn't. Im just trying to make a point, and i hope you understand that such a feature is the best thing ever for a train to have.

The reason why the flying Scotsman coupler is different is because the model in the game is the one when they didn’t change the coupler when it visited America!
