- Should you spend hundreds of dollars on Rokform cases and accessories? Well, that's a tough question. It would be a bitter pill swallow if you spent all that money and the products weren't any good. But we're here to help you make that decision. For this Rokform review, we bought most of their lineup to see if its any good.
The biggest issue I have with the Rokform line up cases are the magnets. They are way too strong and attract way too many things to the iPhone. Seriously, if you drop a handful of coins, all you have to do is to pull out your Rokform case and have the magnets pick them all up for you.

Between Rokform’s Rugged Case and Crystal Case, we’d choose the Rugged case. The design of the Rugged case is more modern. It has tapered edges that go from the back to the front, a chamfered back edge and a nice carbon fibre finish.
The one accessory that we enjoyed using was the sport ring. It’s one of the few products that allows for hand’s free iPhone portrait mode. You still have to remove the ring every time you want to adjust the ring and it will snap against the lower magnet. It’s annoying.

I have had this case and the car mount and the ring for less than 15 hours. I can attach the quick mount locking system with easily.... yall go a little hard on the criticism.
Do you have any problems with MagSafe chargers like said in the video? I don’t need fancy accessories just a strong magnet, a secure mount for my truck dash and MagSafe charging.
I have both a Rockform case and their motorcycle mount. The product quality is top notch and I completely disagree with this review regarding the idea the twist lock is difficult to use. The idea that it’s too tight is inaccurate, however it’s my opinion that said mount has to be somewhat tight for it to function properly. I don’t want it falling off while I’m going down the road. After getting acclimated to using it, I can literally put it on the mount without even looking. I found this review to be more wrong than right, at least in my experience and opinion.
I agree with your comment. I think they are basing their review on day to day life and not for the intended use of the case, which is securing it tightly for bikes/motorcycles or other recreational activities. I just bought one (haven’t received it yet) but I got it for my motorcycle. I would be concerned if it came on and off easily because I’d fear losing my phone on the street.
I agree with you 100%, I'm going to add that i also got used to using it and can lock it in place without any issues pretty easily even one have to mount it on my motorcycle or car mounts. If you are reviewing it without actually using it for longer than a few days or weeks you won't ever get used to it. The magnetic pads are s godsend for me, able to mount it all over the place in the garage, at work and so on. Love it.
I love my Rokforms. Once you are familiar with the mechanisms of attaching and detaching from their mounts you won’t feel any frustration. So handy. And protective.
I have one…. Use the magnetic feature all the time. Watch a video while cooking, watch the “how to” video while fixing my car, etc.

Really guys? Y'all shot that like an old infomercial the case really isn't that bad in the system is not that clumsy. Watching you try to put that sport ring in was painful. Over exaggerating stuff is not helping
True, I'm sure this guy had to go to Walmart to buy screws just for props. Doubt he knows how to use them ..

Rokform makes the strongest cases like he said it does give you a warning IF you have a magnetic accessory in the middle of your phone, it says it will mess with your camera but I haven’t noticed a difference.
I’ve used rokform since iPhone 11. I now have the rugged for my iPhone 14 pro and it works great. The MagSafe option is a lot more secure and more magnetic. More of a secure connection
Okay so here is what I love about your channel and what I can't stand about it, it's too good. If you watch any video it's always maybe 2 minutes of fluff at the very beginning and the video is SLOOOW. If you want to get the most out of your reviews or the information that you provide, I need to make sure to sit through the entire thing from the beginning to the middle to the end cuz a lot of good stuff is peppered in there. You guys are an awesome couple doing awesome things thanks for all the information.
I own this case and I really only use it when I’m golfing as it sticks great to the golf cart.
It is popular in wind turbine construction and maintenance so rhat you can just put it on a generator and won't fall
Weird my iPhone 13 Pro with the crystal case charges fine with MagSafe. I’be pretty much exclusively used Rockford cases since my iPhone 4. Mainly because the bicycle pro mount is so solid and secure. It also kept my phone safe when a driver hit me. The lanyard kept the phone (dangling) on my bike and undamaged.
I’ve also had a strong magnet on the back of my phone case for over a decade. Yes unwanted stuff sticks to it but nothing near what was demonstrated in this videos. But hey if you are around a lot of small metal screws and you mix your phone with your pocket change, you really should choose a different case.
I should also note that I have never broken an iPhone even though I drop the phone numerous times. Every RokForm case has flawlessly protected my phone. The investment has been worth it.
Hi @@ChrisPetersMr how about your iPhone's camera? I read from the apple guidelines that strong magnet can harm the sensors on iPhone especially on the camera
@@godaniel135 pretty sure the magnet is far enough away from the cameras. Maybe if you left a strong magnet on the cameras for a long period of time. My evidence is that I’ve never had an iPhone with camera problems. That’s 5 iPhones with 5 rokform cases.

I’ve been using Rokform cases for over 3 years. I have the magnetic mount in my car & suv and have had no issues. I have the stem mount on my motorcycle and love it. I’ve never had any issues with the magnets being too strong or collecting coins and screws etc. Overall it’s great product & sometimes takes a few days to get used to the locking mechanism (stem mount). * I’ve had no issues with MagSafe charging.
Do you use the vibration dampener on your motorcycle mount?
A buddy at work has a Rokform case and he highly recommended it. Thought I would do the necessary TH-cam video review watching to see what the consensus is on Rokform. Most reviews are positive. I wanted to give these two reviewers the benefit of the doubt, but honestly I think they're the same people that do infomercials for cheesy products that you don't really need (you know the ones...where the actors and actresses struggle to do normal everyday functions like wash dishes or turn on a light switch). The melodramatic struggling with the magnets and rok-locks are just laughable (and I don't even own this product!). Are you guys being paid by Rokform's competition? Seriously.

I've been using the RokForm case since the iPhone 11 pro max days. I currently have the iPhone 15 pro max & I have to say that RokForm is ideal for every phone I get. I love this channel of course and I hope you revisit Rokform.

I have the Rokform rugged and I love it.. the whole “all kids of random objects will now stick to your phone” really isn’t a problem I’ve ever had in the 3 years of having this phone.. if anything it’s actually helped me.. if I need to hold onto something metal for just a minute, I can stick it to the phone and I know it’s there.. but I’ve never just set my phone down in a pile of screws.. how many people are setting their phones down on top of things?! Its actually helped a couple times where I drop really tiny screws in the carpet and I can take my phone and find them easily.. the really issue is just if you’re going to use alll the attachment stuff.. I don’t use any of them. I have a magnetic vent mount and my phone sticks to that perfectly so it’s not an issue. Overall it’s a sweet phone

I bought Rockford for i reason. I ride a motorcycle and I like the mounts they have for motorcycle and the secure lock and magnets. I face the magnet is so good I can put my phone on the tank of the bike while riding if I wish.
I’ve got the Rokform rugged case and wallet and I don’t experience any of the issues in this review. This review is so off the mark that I wonder if this is an intentional smear on the brand. It’s the best case I’ve purchased to date.
V4 Bike Magnet Mount used with iPhone 12 Pro Max in the RokForm crystal case: I first used this on 21st Dec 2021 and used it pretty much every day on 50 to 80 km rides. While riding on 31st Dec 2021, the phone fell down and I noted that the the mount has cleanly cracked just below the twist lock with the twist lock still retained in the crystal case. I stopped using the Rok Form mount since. I have lost trust in the ROK Form product. Intend to use the Peak Design case going forward.
Have you tried the Rokform Clear Eagle 3 Case recently? I know its not mentioned in all the newer iphone 15 videos you have done but that doesn't mean you haven't tried it out.
The last time I use a rokform case… I wasn’t able to use the compass on the iPhone… it also can cause problem with navigation.
Good review. I’ve had a Rokform on my original iPhone X for about five years now and it’s held up very well. I can tell you it took me a few days to get used to the twist-lock accessories, but after that it became a habit and now it takes about a half a second to connect. I actually like the strong magnets since it holds to wherever I stick it, but on my X has no magsafe ring. That said on my Rokform case you can take the magnets out if they bother you.
Do you own a motorcycle?
I have used the Rugged case on three different iPhone now. I’ve been using iRokform for 5 year. I use my phone a lot at work and it’s super handy to stick it on anything metal.
I got an iPhone 14 pro max with the new MagSafe rugged case and I have two issue with it.
One my MagSafe doesn’t charge my phone and second the new iPhone 14 pro max camera are a lot taller, so that makes camera lens flush with the outside of the case.
I wish Rokform made a lens cover.

I loved the Rokform case and motorcycle mount, until my phone fell off the mount at highways speeds completely destroying my phone.
Does that small center magnetic cover come with the case?
I have this one for the 13 pro max the thing that bugs me is u can’t use me safe unless u take out the centre magnet I contacted them to see if they make a plastic plug so u can use mag safe they said use the ring but I know it won’t work oh well :)

Just got the rugged for my S22 ultra
I just received mine as well, the two downfalls I have is you have to remove the magnets to use the S Pen & for wireless charging.

Yea the price was hard to swallow for me especially after shipping and import fees. I have the crystal case for the iPhone 13 pro max and this is the most secure case I’ve had on a phone. I also bought a sport ring, magnetic car vent mount and the 1in ball adapter mount for my motorcycle. As for the locking, I’ll take it over my ram mount any day. I dropped my phone out of my ram mount going 50km/h and I was terrified that my phone would get run over. This is definitely a niche product that I do enjoy but definitely not for everyone. I haven’t had any problems with the magnets breaking my phone but I work in a place with a lot of metal to stick this case to and yea I’ll get stuck on a mop bucket here and there but it’s useful for me. Definitely will be using the magnets when I work on my bike though

Yeah all lies unless company sent me a lemon. My MagSafe charger doesn’t charge my phone at all and I wish I got Quadlock now due to this. Sadly, I bought their Bike Mount and am stuck using my phone without features now smh

That case looks good as a magnetic case. However to use on your bike rides looks very difficult to mount & dismount 👎. Quad Lock is 100% by far the easiest case to use on bike rides. It’s a one had mount & dismount case.

I have a rokform universal mount, and the motorcycle mount. (About a year) I'm about to get an iPhone with the case or another sticky adaptor. (I already bought the bike mount)
I recommend rokform fully, only if you fit the criteria....
1. You are using the metal mounts for motorcycle/bicycle
2. Magsafe accessories don't interest you
3. You do something that requires you to read something off your phone and you're around metal. (Cars, music equipment, fridge)
If this isn't you, they are one hundred percent spot on. It is not worth it for just a novelty mounting device. Listen to them.
This is for bolting your phone to your bike. Everything else can be replaced with a disk magnet and a 3m strip. 🤷
Pretty bad review honestly probably the worst since the crowning jewel of this case is for motorcyclist and you didn't use a single hard mount in this review which is the reason it's so stiff so it doesn't fall off your freaking motorcycle

Be careful where you mount your magnetic case in your vehicle. I have run into trouble with these cases turning airbag components on and off.
