When I was young my brothers beat everything and I just played the missions I liked, and now i just build a death ball and burn everything down. Your gameplay, not always as historically accurate, is far more fun to watch. This was very impressive and i might use some of these strats to beat some missions on hard
I take too long to complete these and you just make it look so easy 😂👍🏻. I used to play this game decades ago and I couldn’t believe this got remastered for steam. By far a great classic game.
Holy shit, the bridge petard barrier/glitch in Pax Mongolica you did was freaking genius! How did you work that strat out? Now THATS strategy, looks as good as the ones in war movies. Using the side petards like mines against the scorpions as well? So cool

great work, but can you explain the barbarossa 2nd mission (henry the lion) glitch at 2:34:33? i know henry turns against you after 33 mins or by being attacked but does purposefully killing one of your feeding allies before then trigger poland to resign? i presume this has been patched in later versions.
Sure thing, in the aok version of the level. If you make green or yellow resign. At the moment they try to send you resources it will make you victorious. Just one of the aok bugs. You are correct it was patched out from aoc and later. Thanks
it's version dependent, the fastest strats are mostly not available in just 1 version. for example, the penultimate aztec map was basically entirely changed between versions, giving you 1 uber jaguar warrior instead of like 10.
Most underrated game ever. I'm young and even I can't say I've seen a better game. Most modern games still don't demand the same level of strategic intellect and this game made me seriously so proud when I succeeded at anything cause I really had to put my mind to it. Wish more people would appreciate that.

I tried with obs and other programs but then when I check the recording it's all black with some green and purple pixels. might it be related to some colour or graphics setup? Or is an issue related to my Win7 SO? This problem does not happens when I record HD version from steam. Can you help me a bit? Is important cause I want to get a copy of the matches I've won for a tournament.
Hi, to be honest I haven't played on Voobly since DE came out. I never had this issue, I just use desktop capture for OBS and it worked for these runs. good luck.
Yes, on AoK and AoC the relic glitch works but on HD its been patched. AI act slightly different on each version and the are some Glitches that are only on the original AoK, . Hope this helps.
Wasn't there a mission where it's set in the desert and you have two separate bases on different ends of the map. I always had trouble passing that one. I can't find that one here tho
