Some of the cars Baldwin Motion made had so much torque that they would break the seal between the rear wheels and tire beads during acceleration. Not the worst problem in the world IMO.
Baldwin motion super Vega and camaro are my all time favorites, I never liked the vettes. I know they did novas and others but these are just plain old school cool
Wow what a fantastic build always liked the 2nd gen camaro's, is that a dealer prep car with the side pipes and 454 also the paint dealer or later, thanks
It started out as a new 1972 Z28 purchased from Park Chevrolet in Asbury Park NJ. The new owner took it to MOTION Performance for their Phase III mods before the new owner took it to North Carolina where it spent it’s entire life as a street racer. My Brother Scott bought it in 2007, and just finished the restoration last year. KH2PM.dynip.com/motion
A video I watched just last night said that particular air cleaner was a Baldwin-Motion air cleaner, if I heard it right. I took it to mean that it was a custom one. PS, I just looked it up. It appears that's a Baldwin-Motion aircleaner. Another company also made a knockoff version. The original came in two variants one was Triangula as well as this model, and some gad square holes instead of round ones, from what I could find.
Just wondering. Are the headers/side pipes a true 4 into 4 design( like for a Corvette) or do they have a collector right into to the side pipe and the 4 small pipes on the side pipe are aesthetic only? Thanks and beautiful car!
Next time I’m at my brother’s place I’ll get some info on the exhaust. It is custom fabricated and I’m pretty sure the header pipes individually go all the way to the sidepipes.
Stock height is best, fads devalue these types of cars. Gen 3 Corvettes scraped stuff here and there back in the day, but they were built for serious cornering, and aren't even low by today's standards. This pro-stock retro mod lowered phenomenon with built cars is epidemic (not necessarily in a good way), right along side of sticking big wheels under anything burning gas that's vintage. Fads.
The 72 Motion Camaro is one of my all-time favourite muscle cars.
Still got my 68 camero from motion performance very fast
I'm now 72 had a 69 L78 Chevelle as a kid, ran C/MP and these cars were normal street drivers...
What great memories!
Cool car and rebel flag man!
Absolute dream car! Amazing job on the restoration!
Good looking Camaro
I remember riding past Motion in Baldwin and seeing these when they were new prior to delivery. Just Legendary !
I also like that Oldsmobile you got sitting along side it in the garage nice.
Best one I've seen. Great video too.
Love the side pipes and the grill
OMG! Pure awesomeness!
Nice and Shiney!
Wow that is a beast.

Beast!
Gorgeous

Beautiful car but quieter than I expected maybe the camera mic wasn't picking up the sound accurately. If it's the real deal it's 🤑$$$

The paint is factory blue but the white stripes were added down the sides, and side pipe exhaust was added as well by MOTION.
@@KH2PM Chris-what’s the history and specs on the motor? Thanks.👍🏻 (FYI the link doesn’t seem to be working….for me at least).
I need a air filter like that for my 68 Camaro where can I get one
I saw a Motion Camaro identical to this in Richford Vermont back in 1978 for sale for $8300 I’ve always like GEN 2 Camaros Way better than GEN one
Thats a bad bitch.
There's many cars that sound good but damn that one is ridiculous.
What air cleaner is that u are running? Beautiful car

Very cool Camaro but lower the car about 2 inches...
It would look good lowered, but that’s not how they did it back in the 70s. Thanks for commenting!
