He really doesn't know how to play endgames, I have the opposite problem, I'm great at endgame but I rarely get to them because I hate to play the "take a card and pass" play style that keeps you alive till then consistently
If any novice or beginner wants some tips of what not to do, look at poor orange for the last painful 15 minutes. Around 33:20 he starts slow rolling the bottom middle cap then retreats back when he should have just fortified his whole corner cap out which would have given him an unbreakable and active 550 stack. On the following turn he could have slammed the 550 stack into the bottom mid cap, undone all the damage by VC's trade and card blocked him in the noob corner cap while still having his ~230 troop upper mid cap to zero down anything VC fortifies out, game over. Hope orange learned something and can do better in his next game!
You really show your grandmaster-level risk-communication-translation skills at 6:13 . I would have interpreted red's move as being some sort of cheap provocation. I thought red was trying to say "one day i'll hit your capital". I think yellow probably interpreted it in the same way i first did
That move is only hostile if they have a big number - they're checking the odds. Never assume someone is making a vague threat like this - either they're bullying you and it's clear what they want, or they're trying to be diplomatic.
Card-blocking with bonus breaks for maximum emotional damage. Poor orange, thinking that their heavily defended bonuses mattered with trades at 100. They were actually a liability as they can't be defended against trades and basically guarantee blue unlimited cards, whilst orange had only one card that didn't open a cap.
As a true sub I'm in a game with my cap on Island NW right now. Mercia and Rhine are Blizzards, Finnland is the red cap, there is likely also a Ruskeala cap.
First ive seem someone win with like 500 to over 900 troops that's a crazy win then again it was a noob that kept blocking it's own stacks and kept allowing themsleves to get card blocked
Oh thank goodness, i was getting nervous with yesterdays talk of not capping in the corners and playing sensibly.
This is prison. Sensibility goes out the window when all that matters is survival.
His play style is irritatingly risky but ig that's why we're all here!
@@houssamalucad753 ill take risky over mind numbing boring take a card and pass amy day
The number of times VC made a dad face that said, "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed, but also a little mad," was amazing.
@22:20 As you were talking about card blocking orange, he almost card blocked himself.
Brutal, orange didn't know which way to turn. Great vid

That was brutal! Like watching cat playing with her food.

Story time with VC.
Even when he's advised by counsel to not talk we get a good show.
😂
Do you think your opponents feel better once they see the ranks and realise they just got schooled by a Grandmaster?
Okay, this is good. I'll add it to my notes, I don't want to be like these guys and forget that you're the noob corner king!
Coughing Johnny is the toughest guy in the yard!
I see through your non-silly silly ruse. Thumbs up.
Lack of sportsmanship with the 2 die slider.
slice dider*
10:47 Yeah, Yellow! "...get two slice didered!!!”
🤣
VC= Best
Very satisfying win after red hitting you with all that sarcasm.
In Risk, you should plead the Third rather than the Fifth Amendment: Refusing to quarter other people's troops in your house!
Poor yellow geting two slice diedered, sad way to go.
Your voice complements the exciting video very well!
Giving some real "spirit animal=cat" energy.
Hate it when I get two-slice didered

@@vampirechicken amazing for Pink who just got 40 and just won turn 9. He was a GM.
Poor orange was so lost 😂
Well played
Surprised Red didn’t want to work with you being a master.
And Orange needs to watch your vids. Any true VC watcher knows how to card block

That’s exactly why I hit play.
My Favorite Day, besides payday.
Totally not a silly intro.
